Scarlet lipstick streaked across Elegancia's alabaster, flawless face-- and into her eyeball. The dense, tinny sound of car bumpers bashing into eachother resounded in her ears as she howled in pain while simultaneously wiping the red off her cheek.
What. The. Fork.
"You're fired," Elegancia shouted, "you had one job. One job!!" The help, whom she had just hired the day prior and she simply called 'driver,' hung his head in shame and offered no words to save his job. He knew there was no changing Elegancia's mind, or maybe he didn't care enough to save his job if it meant not having to deal with her.
As she coddled her dachshund, asking the dog if he was okay in a baby voice, Elegancia noticed a young lady in a Crystal uniform step out of the opposing limousine. Strangely, she was a girl of color-- had she not been in a limousine as well, she'd have thought the girl was on scholarship. Elegancia rolled her eyes and put her sunglasses on. Rolling the tinted window halfway down, Elegancia stared out at the girl imperiously. Just like her now-fired driver, Elegancia offered no words to try and salvage the situation.
Instead, she wrote a check and dangled it out of the window for the girl to take. Elegancia had her wet wipes ready, just in case they made skin contact. "Once she takes this, driver, you shall take me home and be relieved of your duties."
It was then that she noticed the Crystal-attending young lady staring back at her in disgust. "Yes?" Elegancia asked, clearly annoyed-- for all she knew, this girl's driver wasn't paying attention, either.

Kalina wasn’t sure what thing was worse, the accident, the way her driver decided to start panicking, or the way that the other woman in the other limo decided to be acting. Was this even for real? This was like, girls gone wild and had too much money and decided to just…
She shook her head. “Are you really just going to hand me a check and think that fixes things? Your driver ran a stop sign, I would think at least you would offer an apology, not just a check.” Jeeze. There was rich and snooty…and then there was rich and snooty. This girl was the one that went above and beyond.
“It’s kind of strange to have two limos crash into one another though. I’ll bet if anyone else had been around to see this, they’d think we were a bunch of celebrities, or something.”
Honestly, the fact that she was using her parents limo today was only because her own car was in the shop…to be perfectly frank she hated being in the limo…there was just a lack of freedom that made her feel like she wasn’t trusted to go somewhere on her own…plus she missed the wind blowing through her hair like she got in the convertible.
