Entering the courtyard of the of Solaris's Temple you are greeted with the sight of immaculate white stone pillars ringing the area. A large stone stone square with the sun god's mark filling the neatly lain stones. Paths exited the vast stone space from each side of the square leading to the outer ring of perfectly laid stones. In each of the corners between the paths of stone trees and well maintained shrubbery grew.
The setting sun pouring in from above illuminating everything in it's shades of purple, pink, red, and orange. As the natural light began to fade well placed torches flared up to illuminate the party. Along the edges of the courtyard banquet tables where filled with just about every food imaginable from savory to sweet. Sweet music played and resounded through the courtyard enticing people to dance.

Valor entered the scene in much the same way he entered any place. At a full run. He screeched to a halt though, his hands splayed out to the sides as the fox slowly looked from left to right. A small red bird fluttered after him, and flopped in exhaustion on his shoulder. Chirping softly at the fox, Valor slowly bobbed his head. "Yes Beam I agree. Running is not a good idea here. We have arrived so...we can take our time looking around." On his shoulder the bird seemed to give a gusty sigh of relief. It fluffed it's tail and looked about while Valor began to walk slowly around the ballroom. The fox had not changed out of his usual garb for this event. He didn't think of it before now and he picked at his tunic self consciously.

Solaris strolled into the courtyard from his temple with his typical lively expression and bright smile. He wore a different cloak than usual this one was white with and intricate stitched hem of little suns. On the back it bore a stunning, but rather abstract rendering of a sunset. He stopped at the bottom of the temple steps and looked about with exuberant green eyes. He was so happy to have had so many participate in his celebration and couldn't wait to hand out the awards later this evening. He hoped that everyone would enjoy his ball until then.

Pasha had taken her time wandering around the courtyard. It was a truly beautiful and radiant place. She wore a long flowing dress of light grey and teal which seemed to fit snugly on her body in all the right places. It was a ball after all, a little bit of showy fashion wasn't out of the ordinary. When Solaris called for everyone's attention she strolled up and soon beside some of the very Pockettu she had given fortunes to. A part of her wondered if they enjoyed their fortunes as much as she had. Seeing their faces brightened her day and although unfortunately it was not all happy fortunes, it was an experience.

It seemed fortune continued to favor some of the other Pockettu in the room. She clapped her hands softly in applause when they were granted ranks and other earnings. Each of them deserved it! She couldn't help but smile. Yet the twin tailed fox blinked when she was mentioned and soon curtsied. "My, darling, I happily accept." Pasha smiled warmly at the God. "Thank you for giving all of us such an opportunity."

Shōshin, having just finished his battle challenge, had just barely snuck in to the stunning courtyard before Solaris's speech. He had risen to the occasion, and could be seen in a formal suit with a red satin tie. The only thing keeping him from mischief was his exhaustion from agreeing to various challenges during the festival. Shōshin was fairly quiet, for once, there were no Pockettu that he recognized from any of his schemes. Instead, he focused intently on the individuals around him and the conversations they were having. It was then that Solaris came into view. Shō had never seen the God in person, and had to admit that he could see why he had such a gathering. The God, even from afar, had a confident yet humble vibe to him, and he could see the compassion in his expression. Shōshin listened attentively to the proceedings, tapping his foot to keep the time as he always did, but his foot stopped when he heard his own name. He was taken aback, this was the first time he had been recognized for anything that wasn't trouble. He had no clue how to react. He did know one thing, however. He had respect for Solaris, and because of this respect, he knew he shouldn't stay. Most would think this to be backwards thinking, but Shō couldn't imagine Solaris taking his pranks lightly. He knew he would end up on the God's last nerve if he were to take the offer, as tempting as it sounded. He decided to speak with the God himself afterward, if the opportunity came, to let him know that although flattered by the offer, he had no desire to fall out of any good standings by being as he usually was. He decided that becoming a follower of anyone was a big decision, and would be something he would have to consider. Maybe in the future he would return, who could say, but for that moment, Shōshin took the time to enjoy the ball, and all of the wonders that came with it.

Layla broke away from her reverie when she heard an unfamiliar voice call out to her. She blinked, unable to process what had just happened. Had she been complimented? In that moment, Layla's heart burst with joy, and she let out a sigh of relief. Maybe she could learn a lot from Solaris, she thought. As he came into view, all other thoughts dissipated. She clapped for those honored, and made a note to remember and congratulate them each if she ever saw them. After the speech came to an end, Layla looked up at the stars and thanked the heavens for having found Solaris.
