Many Elves come to this huge, wide area forest just to rest from their overgrowing population at their hometown. This is where you could have your own house in a itsy bitsy private corner or a neighboring house, whichever fix your story. However on top of each of your posts, you need to put down where your character is like:

~Outside in a vast area with trees~

~Inside (Insert your charrie name) Home~

and so on forth. This purpose for the forest is only for character development, fights or whichever you want.
