- By the Order of Draco -

The coveted Order of Draco has long since fallen to to the expanding Sol Crest empire. The dragons' and their riders who survived the brutal ten years war adapted to the times; many riders became soldier's of Richard's army, others bounty hunters, or brutes.
Twenty long years since the war has past... Emperor Richard's health has begun to fail, and is worsening every day. Prince Richard II has taken over his father's stead while whispers of a rebellion have begun to surface. The Order of Draco is alive, but barely, hidden away in the next generation's promising hands. Taught the dedicated beliefs, and raised in it's spiritual circle, three young riders head out to form an army to free their lands from the Empire...
But while the dying Order fights for its survival, the world has changed. Political corruption, economic success, and a new religious way challenge the riders on their journey. The Emperor has become much loved by the upper class, and the old riders of the past have created a profitable life for themselves; they have cast aside the rigid lifestyle demanded by the order. Do the people they have sworn to protect truly want to go back to the way things once were? Or will the Order stand divided from their people, forced to watch their way of life disperse into history?

Rules
1. This is a literate RP, so please take grammar and spelling into consideration. However for those who may not be the best with their English, please feel free to join in as well! It can be a great way to better your skills while having fun.
2. This means that while you may send a complaint to me, please do not put anyone down for their writing. Any disrespect in any form or manner is unacceptable. This means that you can offer support, mentoring, or kind words. Writing does not come naturally to everyone. Everyone is welcome here so long as they try!
3. No God-modding. Please ensure that you do not create insanely powerful characters. Not is it only boring to RP with, but having weaknesses will force you and everyone to get creative.
4. Do not take the RP personally. It is meant to take place in a challenging culture. If someone's character is a sexist jerk, it does not make that person a sexist jerk. It is called Role-Playing for a reason.
How to Apply
Drake and the Sol Empire are similar to that of Tudor England. This stands for technology, and education. Other cultural beliefs from that time may be quite different. All ethnicities and races are equal within the Empire, there is little discrimination against others for the colour of their skin. Gender equality has been "legalized" but not fully realized, and thus gender identity is still being discussed and argued by the public. On the other hand, sexuality is accepted in all forms.
When making a character it is important to follow through on these cultural restrictions. How does your character feel about the laws? Do they have biases? Discriminations? Are they afraid, or are they excited for great change?
Note what your characters might wear. If using a picture it does not need to conform to the clothing, but please describe what they usually wear below. Merchants or explorers may be from anywhere in the world, and can thus have any manner of dress or namesake.
Dragons are the same in their abilities, they can fly, breath fire, have fangs and claws.
It may seem like quite a few restrictions, but remember that this will make your storytelling all the more richer! Plus a lot more exciting and intimate!
Once you have completed your profile, PM it to me and I will add it into the list!

Sol Empire

Legend
1 - North Cape The cape is set high on a cliff edge with the sea far below. Many riders once used these cliffs as a training ground with their dragons. They would dive into the freezing waters below, while dodging the sharp rocks. Since the era of Draco is long over, it has become a fishing city. The industries that fuel the city's economy are tourism (for it is a beautiful place, rich in history), trapping, and fisheries. It is a small city, and during the summer months the population is booming with tourists and rich cottage owners. In the winter months, the city becomes much smaller and almost seems to close up shop.
2 - Ayr The city of wind! It is another smaller city with many farms on its outskirts. While crops are grown, the soil is dusty and not as rich as other areas in Drake. The city is mostly known for its wool production, and live stock. The people are hardy, and tough in this area. The city is hit by extreme storms throughout the year. It is an open city, and while busy, the extreme weather has not made it the best place for tourism. Despite its crazed and unpredictable weather, Ayr is a beautiful place to visit. There are few forests, and those that are are thin, and coniferous. Hunting is plentiful, and thus the city has become a regular stop for rangers and sportsmen.
3 - Brighar 4 - Stormhold 5 - Fort Loch 6 - Highland
7 - Dorchshire The city of stone, Dorchshire stands as the capital of Drake. Imbedded into the mountain pass, the sounds of the shore can be heard from the city, but only seen from the top most peak within the palace. Tourism, merchant shipping, and many of the other professions found within a "port" city thrive throughout its walls. Most notably, the stone capital is surrounded by a great stone wall. Once it was guarded day and night from attacks by the Sol, now it stands empty; its protection no longer needed. In more run-down areas of the city, the wall is crumbling. Frankly, in those areas it should be torn down, or at least declared too unsafe to stand near... Let alone live beside. Despite the wall, the city is quite beautiful, majestic even. But don't let its brilliant beauty fool you. Dorchshire is a thriving monopoly for the black trades, and the city has much hidden dark side.
8 - Notting Wood 9 - Newport 10 - Oxford 11 - Port Ipswich 12 - Glaston 13 - North Carlisle 14 - Lanchester 15 - Evyrleen 16 - Yorkshire 17 - Grand Dame 18 - Sheifland 19 - South Carlisle 20 - Port Loraun 21 - Fort Notre Bay 22 - Grand Sol
