The techniques listed here are still in progress of being edited. Mostly the Words required to learn them (if the technique mentions a number of posts, multiply that number by 100 to get the number of words) will stay the same and the general effect of the ability will remain the same as well. Any mentions of multipliers (EX: Strength x2) will be changed into plus boosts (EX: Strength +10).


Within the King's Court is a gladiator-style Arena where Prestige-level Shinigami come to train. Within the walls of this arena, powerful new and ancient technique are both born and learned...


:: Kyoui Waza ::

A great scientist once stated "Many Magnificent things have been, and will continue to come into existence." As the Ancient Kido are a study of the forgotten arts; only Colonels were considered strong enough to risk the study of them. Thus, the members of the Four Royal Divisions pooled their powers together and created a series of techniques known as Kyoui Waza. The Kyoui Waza [lit. Miracle Technique] are a series of Advanced Kido divided into two segments. Kyoui; the Miracles; which range from healing and shielding, to arts of deception. And Hemo-Waza; the Blood Techniques; a powerful variation of attack spells.

Description: Allows the caster to go invisible for stealth mode. While in this mode they cannot attack; and they must wait one gaian post after coming out of this mode to attack. This is done by a series of hand signs.
Incantation: [Pattern of Hand Signs] Right fist against left palm, which is flat and upright. Grip fist with left hand and slide it outwardly until it rests under the fist. Fore fingers out, ring and pinky in, both hands. To come out of slide both until the finger tips of both the right and left forefingers touch.

Description: The user has surpassed the boosting of flash step to the point where they move at such a great speed that a slower opponent will literally see them wisk from one point to another. Speed of this movement is x1.50 speed.
Other: Usable once per 50 Reiatsu the user possesses.


Name: Kyoui: #7: Lunar Healing: 12 Posts
Type: Healing
Element: Light
Range: Touch
Division: Any Member of the Royal Divisions
Description: A soft pearly glow forms around the user and the target, it heals all injuries regardless of depth so long as there's life in the victim. The caster is all but immobilized as they concentrate on the victim, which means they need to be in a safe area or they need to be protected by another. This skill cannot be combined with Double Incantation; and costs 30 SP. It lasts for an entire gaia post, and can not be done twice within a battle.
Incantation: "Black night, indigo clouds, pearlecent moon, stars fall from the sky, midnight rainbow. Kyoui: #7: Lunar Healing!"


Name: Kyoui #25: Miasma Breath: 10 Posts
Type: Binding
Element: Poison
Range: 50 Feet
Division: Any Member of the Royal Divisions
Description: Costs 20 Sp. The caster breathes in deeply in time to their steps, then makes a pushing motion outwards as they perform the Pattern of Hand Signs towards the target, breathing out in a deep hiss. A miasma should form out around the area and remain for 3 Gaian Posts.. While in the miasma; the opponent's Spirit Attacks are reduced to 3/4 Strength.
Incantation: [Pattern of Hand Signs] right fist in left fist, slide down, pointer and middle fingers up then both hands facing palm side towards target with ring and pinky fingers curled in, thumbs outwards, both pointers and middle fingers remain up and together.


Name: Kyoui #36: Fugitive Bond: 12 Posts
Type: Binding
Element: Earth
Range: 50 Feet
Division: Any Member of the Royal Divisions
Description: A unique binding spell that only works on a fleeing opponent. Costs 15 SP; if the caster's Speed is higher than the opponents; stones will shoot out of the ground and form a cage around the fleeing opponent.
Incantation: "Hasten not your own death, be still. Kyoui #36: Fugitive Bond!"

Description: Summons calls forth a single character from any one plain. Can be used only once in battle and can only summon your subordinates or people you have rp'd with for at least 1000 words. Costs 50 SP to enact if summoning one in the same dimension. 100 SP required for trans dimensional transport.
Incantation: "Come forth __. I __ summon you! Kyoui #54: Summons!"


Name: Kyoui #62: High Tracking: 12 Posts
Type: Extended Vision
Element: Wind
Range: 50 Feet around the user
Division: Any Member of the Royal Divisions
Description: It tracks the movements of even invisible or illusory targets. A mid battle tracker, not one that flies out and does reconnaissance. However; even if the user is aware of the opponent's movements; it does not mean they can react to something they are not fast enough to block. This skill also will disintegrate illusions completelly if the caster's SP is higher than their target's
Incantation: "Blood cries out from the ground, you are marked! Kyoui #62: High Tracking!"


Name: Kyoui #75: Guilt Binding: 12 Posts
Type: Binding
Element: N/A
Range: 30 Feet
Division: Any Member of the Royal Divisions
Description: A powerful binding technique that uses the target's own reiraku ribbon against them; wrapping around the target to constrict them. Unlike other bindings; this will not hinder the opponent's movements or ability to attack; rather the constriction will deal a constant damage so long as the spell is held. It costs the caster 15 SP Per Gaian Post; and takes 15 stamina from the victim per gaia post. It can be held for a maximum of 4 Gaian Posts and may only be used once per battle.
Incantation: "Cut and bind, turn and twist. Cry out, oh sinner, repent! Kyoui #75: Guilt Binding!"

Name: Kyoui #81: Prism Shield: 15 Posts
Type: Defensive
Element: Light
Range: Self
Division: Any Member of the Royal Divisions
Description: A powerful shielding Kido that deflects physical attacks. While using this shield; the caster cannot attack; and cannot use any other Kido or Kyoui Waza. Costs 10 sp per gaian post and can be held a maximum of 5 gaian posts. There is a 4 gaian post cool down before it can be recast
Incantation: "Seven days, seven glories, great maiden of protection aid me. Kyoui #81: Prism Shield"

Name: Kyoui #91: Truth Mirror: 8 Posts
Type: Extended Vision
Element: Wind
Range: Inter-dimensional
Division: Imperial Inquisitors
Description: Uses any reflective surface - the more reflective the better. The mirror's reflective surface permits the caster to observe something in another realm/dimension without going there or risking the tracking sparrows getting damaged. Only a single area may be viewed at a time and this spell may only be cast once per day. The cannot see someone, something, or someplace that they have not seen before. This skill cannot be used in battle.
Incantation: "Hold back nothing, tremble in fear, cry out oh truth. Kyoui #91: Truth Mirror"

Name: Kyoui #98: Supression: 15 Posts
Type: Binding
Element: Light
Range: 40 Feet
Division: Colonel, Lt. Colonel, Imperial Keeper, & Imperial Inquisitor
Description: A powerful technique that costs 30 SP to initiate. In battle it can suppress an opposing Vizard's or Hueco Hybrid's inner hollow if the caster's SP is greater than the target. The target will be unable to summon their Mask and its abilities for 3 Gaian Posts. Usable once every 10 Gaian Posts; and it may only be used on a single target.
Incantation: "Sacred bindings ensnare, suppression of what lies within! Kyoui #98: Suppression!"

Description: Costs 5 SP per casting. The user thrusts out their fist and sends a burst of pressure at an opponent using hardened winds to strike. Possessing power equal to the user's SP, Heavenly Crush can also knock an opponent completely off balance is the caster has higher Stamina than their opponent.
Incantation: "Stars of night, crescent moon, Sun at dawn, heavenly cries, strike the match, cast down my foe. Hemo-Waza #7: Heavenly Crush."

Name: Hemo-Waza #13: Flare: 9 Posts
Type: Offensive/Curse
Element: Fire/Dark
Range: 40 Feet outwards; follows the arc of the user's arm when cast.
Division: Any Member of the Royal Divisions
Description: Costs 5 SP to cast. The user swings out their arm in an arc, and black flames spread out across the path. It's power is nothing all too remarkable, only possessing power equal to the user's SP. However, the black flames are gifted with an ability called "Luck Breaker", which guarantees the user's next binding spell will work, even if the target could normally resist it. An opponent may only be inflicted with "Luck Breaker" once per battle.
Incantation: "Deep within, and all around, surrounded by dark flames. Project! Hemo-Waza #13: Flare!"

Description: A technique that boosts the power of Hadou, Hougudo, and Hemo-Waza. Once cast; at the cost of an additional 2 SP to the spell's cost; a Hadou, Hougudo, or Hemo-Waza spell will have its power increased by x1.50
Incantation: "Forty six stars, three orbits, thirteen moons, all encircle, cry out oh dogs of war! Hemo-Waza #26: Dogs of War"

Name: Hemo-Waza #45: Blood Whip: 12 Posts

Description: A great red whip of red liquid resembling blood flies up from the ground and lashes at the enemy. It costs 15 SP to cast; and it possesses power equal to the user's SP x1.75. In addition to a high power, the technique can also disrupt a charging attack [IE: Hadou #90, Black Coffin, requires 2 gaian posts of concentration] if the opponent has less Stamina than the user's SP.
Incantation: While making a whipping motion, say "Ketsueki wa yudoku-nakereba narimasen"

Type: Healing

Description: An ancient kidou originally developed to save the lives of the most precious shinigami. When another person is on the verge of death, the user may remove half their heart, giving it to the other person to spare them. For the turn after, the user faints from the strain. This technique is effective in saving someone's life, however, when one or the other dies, both possessors of the heart die. This effect wears off when the two die and are reincarnated. This spell was forbidden because it could only be performed by a high level shinigami, and thus would endanger one of Soul Society's more valuable assets.
Incantation: Unseal this ancient healing technique ! Let the powers of old, and the strength of the dragonkin, pass unto thee! Ancient Chiyudo #66: Dragon Heart!

Name: Ancient Chiyudo #99: Rising Phoenix: 20 Posts

Description: The strongest healing spell in existence. This spell will resurrect a single person to their status at the exact moment before they died. Five conditions must be fulfilled in order to cast this Ancient Chiyudo.
(1) The person being revived must not have posted in Central 46.
(2) It must be within 6 Hours ((Gaia Time)) of their death.
(3) The user, regardless of what other skills may say; must pay 80% of their max SP to resurrect a person. If they have less than that amount this spell cannot be cast.
(4) This spell may only be cast Once a Day ((Gaian Time))
and (5) This spell cannot be used twice in the same battle.
Incantation: "Spirit of the Phoenix, cast down your feather upon the gravestone of the deceased. Bring forth life once more; restore your child to vitality. Ancient Chiyudo #99: Rising Phoenix!"

Name: Ancient Bougyoudo #65: Megid: 10 Posts
Type: Bougyoudo
Element: Dark
Range: 50 Feet, one enemy.
Division: N/A
Description: The caster drains any amount of their SP to cast this spell. They may then drain the same amount off of the Stat of a single opponent. [One stat] for the duration of 3 Gaian Posts. This technique may only be used once every 10 Gaian Posts.
Incantation: Unhallowed Blight, ignite the mind, weaken the heart; five gypsies dance their doom, four roam free, a single one lies dying. Ancient Bougyoudo #65: Megid!

Name: Ancient Bougyudo #74: Jikan Teshi: 10 Posts
Type: Support
Element: N/A
Range: 40 foot from center, in a circle
Description: An ancient kidou originally developed when Soul Society attempted to break through the stalemate against Hollows, by developing a technique that crossed all dimensions and borders. By combining this technique with Kukan Teni, the user is able to hold down the opponent, and then transport anything in the area to a destination of their choice. It was forbidden not only because an enemy who learned it could transport Hollows into Soul Society, ignoring the walls, but because it replaces the mass of the area they appear on with the mass within the circle, literally obliterating it and ignoring the laws of mass. This part of the two simply teleports anyone who does not leave the circle to the new destination at the end of the incantation.
Incantation: Unseal this ancient movement ! Transport us through the unchanging winds ! Ancient Bougyudo #74: Jikan Teshi !
Other: Jikan Teshi, and Kukan Teni require a double incantation to be used in the same turn.

Name: Ancient Bakudou #74: Kukan Teni: 12 Posts
Type: Binding
Element: N/A
Range: Within Jikan Teshi
Description: An ancient bakudou originally developed to detain enemies who were being transported through Jikan Teshi, with the assumption it would be used for prisoners. This bakudou retrains those who have either spirit power, speed, or strength less than the user's spirit power or strength. (Strength compares to speed and strength, spirit power to spirit power. Any of the three.). These people are forced to the ground, unable to move, until one gaian post after Jikan Teshi is completed, so the caster cannot be attacked. During this time, the caster cannot attack.
Incantation: Release this ancient binding ! Carry this sealed enemy beside me ! Ancient Bakudou #74: Kukan Teni !
Other: Jikan Teshi, and Kukan Teni require a double incantation to be used in the same turn.

Name: Ancient Bakudou #92: Genesis: 15 Posts
Type: Bakudou
Element: Light
Range: 30 Feet
Division: Colonel
Description: A powerful ray of holy light ascends from the heavens. This Bakudou may only be used once per battle. It resets the user and a single opponent back to their base stats. Stamina and SP that has been spent during the battle will not be restored. ((Basically this technique is a boost canceler for both the caster and their target))
Incantation: "From the rise of the beginning, Holy Light come forth and dispel all creation to it's purest form! Ancient Bakudou #92: Genesis!"


Name: Ancient Bakudou #99: Bankin [part 1] - First song, Shiryuu!: 10 Posts
Type: Ancient Bakudou
Element: N/A
Range: 30 feet
Division: Colonel
Description: The most powerful of the Ancient Bakudou; Bankin is a 3-Part spell. First song, Shiryuu mummifies the opponent in Spiritual Cloths. An opponent with Less Strength and Less Spirit Power than the user's Spiritual Power will be bound by these cloths for three gaian posts. If this technique does not work, the user cannot continue onto the Second Song.
Incantation: The fate of three sparrows; the fate of four dragons enclosed on five sides, unable to return six leagues. A thousand ashes, a thousand wisdoms, the sum of white clouds. Approaching Luna, stepping not on the scarlet shadow. Ancient Bakudou #99: Bankin! First song, Shiryuu!


Name: Ancient Bakudou #99: Bankin [part 2] - Second Song, Hyakurensan!: 12 Posts
Type: Ancient Bakudou
Element: N/A
Range: 30 feet
Division: Colonel
Description: The most powerful of the Ancient Bakudou; Bankin is a 3-Part spell. It's Second Song, Hyakurensan, can be used one Gaian Post after "First Song, Shiryuu" and is a continuation in the spell series. Hyakurensan fires multiple projectile spikes at an opponent's upper body. While this has no significant effect at first; an opponent with Less Defense than the user's SP will have their Base Stats cut in half should they survive the three songs of Bankin. Also, if the opponent has more Defense than the caster's SP; the caster cannot continue onto the Final Song.
Incantation: Second Song, Hyakurensan!


Name: Ancient Bakudou #99: Bankin [part 3] - Final song, Bankin Taihou!: 20 Posts
Type: Ancient Bakudou
Element: Stone

Division: Colonel
Description:The most powerful of the Ancient Bakudou; Bankin is a 3-Part spell. It's Final song, Bankin Taihou, can be used one Gaian Post after "Second Song, Hyakurensan" and is the end of the spell series. Bankin Taihou! drops a massive block of stone to finish off the opponent. An opponent with less Stamina than the user's Spirit Power will be crushed to death by the stone. The opponent must be under the effects of both the First and Second Song for this technique to work.
Incantation: Final song, Bankin Taihou!!!

Type: Ancient Hadou
Element: Fire
Range: 75 Feet

Description: Kagizanki forms a ring of fire around the caster's open palm and sends out a powerful ball of molten flame. It moves at speed equal to the caster's Speed; and has power equal to the caster's Strength + SP.
Incantation: Beyond! Copper-colored greed desires domination of thrity-six degrees. Seventy-two pairs of Legends, thirteen pairs of Horns, the right hand of the Monkey captures a Star. Embraced by the twenty-five Wheels of the Sun, the Cradle of Sand will flow with blood. Ancient Hadou #2, Kagizanki

Name: Ancient Hadou #11, Anki Bakuha: 10 Posts
Type: Offensive
Element: Fire/Earth
Range: 100 feet
Division: N/A
Description: A skill activated by running the user through with their zanpakutou, actually causing possibly fatal damage to their person. When the drops of blood fall to the earth, it begins forming a pentagram that spreads out over the 100 feet almost instantaneously. The pentagram then flashes brightly, and the earth falls away as the opponent and user are suspended in a space like distortion, with full mobility. Then a barrage of five comets fire at the opponent quickly and together have a combined might of 3x the user's spirit power. In short, while intended to hit the enemy together, if fewer than all five hit, each has a power equal to .6 the user's spirit power. (Ex. Three comets hit the enemy, resulting in x1.8, or 1.8 the user's spirit power for damage). Afterwards, the two are returned to their location, where the user often faints unleash treating their wounds.
Incantation (After piercing themselves): "My blood stirs the sloth. My heart will fuel wrath. The stomach of gluttony is unsatiated. The world is governed by lust. Greed is endless. My envy is boundless. Unleash...my pride! Ancient Hadou #11, Anki Bakuha"


Name: Ancient Hadou #63: Multiplying Lotus Fireballs: 12 Posts
Type: Offensive
Element: Fire
Range: 100 feet from caster
Description: An ancient kidou developed to take out groups of powerful enemies, like the Gillian squadrons that often follow stronger Hollows. This technique is equivalent to three Twin Lotus fireballs, sending forth a total of six blasts, all with x1.5 the user's SP as their power.
Incantation:Oh ruler, the mask of flesh and blood, all creations of the universe, fluttering of the wings, ye who bears the name of man! On the wall of blue flame, etch a twin lotus. Let it multiply by the flame of my heart! In the abyss of unrequited fire, a super nova awaits. Ancient Hadou #63 Twin Lotus Blue Firefall!


Name: Ancient Hadou #88: Hiryu Gekizoku Shinten Raiho [Flying Dragon Striking, Heaven-Shaking, Lightning Cannon]: 12 Posts
Type: Offensive
Element: Non-Elemental
Range: 50 feet from user, 20 feet wide
Description: An ancient kidou originally developed for enemies who were said to hold too much power for a single shinigami to take down. This technique was perfected for just such a monster, but its said that a fraction of the user's soul and lifespan are used up in every use. The blast is tremendous however, striking with power equal to the user's SP x2, and moving with the user's Speed x1.5, with the ability to crush the ground beneath it's path with sheer force. The stories say that if you use this ability more than 12 times in a battle, you will be left with no soul, and you will die regardless of physical health.
Incantation: Unseal this ancient storm ! Unleash the power that is trapped within one's mighty breathe ! Crush my enemies, ye stolen deities! Forbidden Hadou #88, Hiryu Gekizoku Shinten Raiho !


Name: Ancient Hadou #94: Zeus's Punishment: 12 Posts
Type: Offensice
Element: Lightning
Range: 50 feet around user
Division: N/A
Description: The user pays 25 SP in order to form clouds above the battle field. Once gathered the user must charge the attack for one gaian post before unleashing the assualt. Once charged the user lets loose a rain of Lightning upon the battle field to devastate the opponent causing major damage to those within range. The power of this move ranges from person to person; like a chain of lightning. If a person has 250 - 300 Reiatsu the power is only 1.25x the users spiritual power. 300 - 350 Reiatsu, 1.5x, and with 350+ Reiatsu, the power maxes out at 1.75x.
Incantation: From the Highest Reign of Mount Olympus, help bring forward justice to those who stray from the path of Justice. Ancient Hadou #94: Zeus's Punishment


Name: Ancient Hadou #95: Red Lion Flare: 12 Posts
Type: Offensive
Element: Fire
Range: 40 feet out; 30 feet widespread
Division: Colonel
Description: The Red Lion Flare is a powerful; wide-range fire spell. Its widespread range allows it the ability to inflict damage against multiple opponents. Upon coming within one foot of the target, the stream of flames will detonate, blasting the opponent with a force equal to x2 the user's maximum SP, changing to red fire when it detonates. This technique costs 15 SP and 5 Stamina to use.
Incantation: Roaring Cauldron, Imperial Flames, Blood most Red, Ignite my Soul. Bring forth the flames of darkness, bring forth the holy fires. Gather together and turn this world to ashes! Ancient Hadou #95: Red Lion Flare!

Name: Ancient Hadou #98: The End of the World: 25 Posts
Type: Offensive
Element: Ice
Range: 25 Feet around Target; 75 feet to target
Division: Colonel
Description: One of the most powerful offensive spells, The End of the World is a devastating ice spell that traps the target in a massive 25-square-foot field of solid ice created by breaking the Law of Thermodynamics and instantly dropping the temperature of everything in the entire blast area to near Absolute Zero when the spell's first segment is complete. This is a two-part spell. The chant's section ending "Eternal Glacier" traps the target in ice, but it is only with the completion of the chant that the pillar will shatter, inflicting heavy damage to the target. Power = (Strength + SP) x2
The user is able to choose to leave the target in place so they can thaw out naturally by not chanting the second portion of the spell. The End of the World is immensely draining to use; 60% of the user's total SP is required to cast this spell, so if they have any less than that available, this spell cannot even be performed.
Incantation - Turn 1: Heed the pact and serve me, O Queen of Ice. Come forth, unending darkness, Eternal Glacier!
Incantation - Turn 2:Bring death to all that has life, eternal rest! Ancient Hadou #98: The End of The World!
