.: Asgard - City of Gods :.
Asgard, the City of Gods, this is the largest true city in the whole of the dimension. It is the first place most people come into when they enter the dimension for the first time. No one is sure if the city takes its name from the Dimension or the other way around. Asgard spans out for hundreds of miles around the Great Ash Tree Yggdrasil. The closer you get to the tree the older the buildings are, the farther away more high tech and new buildings of glass and steel start to show up. The heart of the city around the tree is typically pulsing with magical energy and power, you can practically taste it in the air. Almost anything can be found in this bustling metropolis and it is far less law abiding than the great tree itself, it is survival of the fittest in the City of the Gods, only the strong survive and they like it that way. There is no law, the rule is truly survival of the fittest. If you think you can get away with theft or murder then by all means, but there will be no one to protect you when someone wants revenge. Oddly enough that doesn't mean there isn't authority or government. Lord Yevaine is the Patrician of Asgard, which really means that he controls trade regulations in the city and sees to the various groups. He doesn't rule so much as he keeps things running. As far as anyone can tell he is a human but no one could really say what his power is, other than making anyone he come in contact with feel that they suddenly need to be somewhere far away.

Description: Costs 50 SP to activated, Cast on up to three allies. Once cast; the Elder God will negate the Damage issued to these allies and then take half the damage that would have been done to the ally. As this already puts the Elder God under immense strain; it disables them from using attacks; although they can still use their defensive and support abilities. If deactivated; the Elder God must wait 2 Gaian posts to use this skill again; in which they will have to repay the cost to activate it. This ability cannot be Activated and Deactivated in the same gaian post.
Prerequisite: Angelic Bond, Blazing Shield
Other: The ability can only be activated at the BEGINNING of a Gaian Post, and Deactivated at the END of a Gaian Post. Meaning, if an absorbed attack would have killed you, you cannot deactivte it at the beginning of your next post to try and avoid dying.
