:: Important ::
• Fighting styles are martial arts that your character can use in order to enhance their combat abilities.
• Fighting styles take 1000 words to attain one level, regardless of the class or location.
• The first level must be learned in this topic (Karakura Dojo) through RPing like any other technique, but the following levels from 2 through 100 may be learned outside of the Dojo.
• Fighting styles have a limit cap: any martial art may only reach a maximum level of 100. This is to prevent abuse, as well as making sure that nobody relies so heavily on one thing.
::Karakura Dojo::
The Karakura Dojo is building that is around somewhat of a medium size compared the Karakura high school, which the dojo was constructed next to which of course was so that the students would be able to head across the street and train within the dojo without having to stray far from their homes or the school itself. The inside of the dojo however is very large and is able to hold roughly about fifteen people or possibly more. On the left wall of the dojo is a series of windows that allow a good amount of sunlight to enter through the windows or no sunlight at all, it all depends on what the people within the dojo decide on.
The floor of the dojo is nothing more than a hard wood floor but in order to ensure the safety of the people who are training within the dojo, there is roughly ten or more training mats rolled up in the far left of corner of the building that are able to use whenever they are needed. Aside from the door that serves as both the exit and the entrance into the dojo, but in the back of the room there is another door that leads to two separate bathrooms. One is obviously for the male students, while the other room is obviously for the female students.

While the early years included the widest possible variety of traditional styles, the continual evolution of the sport has practically eliminated less effective and "pure" styles, usually because fighters who specialized in one particular style were lacking in skills to defend from other techniques.

7 ) Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. (+3 Spi, +2 Str)
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is primarily a ground-fighting art. Most techniques involve both fighters on the mat. There is a heavy emphasis on positional strategy such as which fighter is on top and where each person's legs are. Positions are stable situations from which a large variety of techniques are available to both fighters.
Specific techniques taught are designed to improve one's position, to "pass the guard" for example by going from being "in the guard" to getting around the opponent's legs, resulting in side control. Techniques are also taught to defeat your opponent by way of submission. Most submissions are either chokes (cutting off the blood supply to the brain) or arm locks (hyper extending the elbow, or twisting the shoulder).

Karate can also be described as a martial art, or fighting method, involving a variety of techniques, including blocks, strikes, evasions, throws, and joint manipulations. Karate practice is divided into three aspects: kihon (basics), kata (forms), andkumite (sparring.)
The word karate is a combination of two Japanesecharacters: kara, meaning empty, and te, meaning hand; thus, karate means "empty hand." Adding the suffix "-do" (pronounced "doe"), meaning "way," i.e., karate-do, implies karate as a total way of life that goes well beyond the self-defense applications. In traditional karate-do, practioners always keep in mind that the true opponent is oneself.
