This is where we brainstorm. current idea i thought of. the great turf war ended diffrently and the Octolings are the ones in control of everything leaving squidlings to what little is left.
Campain story's ending shall be where there RP takes place. with the new relationships between Inklings and Octarians. if you want any more tidbits added tell me.
Will create a rough version soon!
5 years after the great Zapfish was returned the Octarians had struck a deal with Inklings. This deal would forever alter what remained of the world. The deal was to allow Inklings and Octarians to co-exist. in the early stages of this things didn't go well. but once the old hatred's died down peace between the two races began. It didn't take long for Octarians to take place in turf wars, Ranked Matches, and Splatfest. this was truely a new world they were living in. not only did the releations between Octarians and inkling improve, but it was as if the Great turf war never happend. Even Captain Cuttlefish was supprised, but in the back of his mind he knew nothing was perfect.

Alright so I figured that there are the Octolings and the Inklings. That's a given thanks to the current story in the Splatoon game.
However I know most people want to play as Octolings so that is another given.
Either we can branch off and "learn" more about the Octolings and why they took over and stole the great Zapfish {Fuel things that they needed I don't know. } Or have where the Octolings accept the Inklings or something.. Something to deal with Octolings being enemies or friends of the Inklings. Friends would be unique and all that jazz while enemies the only thing that is left is to branch of on why they are enemies.

DarkKitsune713 Alright so I figured that there are the Octolings and the Inklings. That's a given thanks to the current story in the Splatoon game.
However I know most people want to play as Octolings so that is another given.

Yeah the custom character editor is going to be a interesting thing to try and find. I may be good at art skills but i'm not good with coming up with characters that are brand new and what not. sweatdrop
But whichever is fine. Just with whatever idea needs to be thought out and figure out all the kinks and what not.

Y'know, a Splatoon RP is something I wouldn't mind being a part of.
I'm actually trying to put a fanfic together and need a kick, so being part of a different Splatoon project might just be what the aul noggin needs.
Depending on how canon we want to stick to game's lore, we don't necessarily have to have inks and octos be friends, but if we wanted to explore pre game, or even the last great turf war, then we have those options for having seperate teams.
Post game, we do see Inklings and Octolings being more friendly thanks to the credits, with Octolings getting a taste for Inkling fashion. If we were to go with that, I'd be interested in exploring how that relationship works given that Inkopolis, and the world at large likely can't support both races on the surface.

That's why I haven't made a post in this thread because I couldn't provide any help and I'm not really a roleplayer. n_n;;

Anyways, sorry and I wish you luck on your Splatoon roleplay, though. I agree with Squid Kitty. Not everyone is into roleplaying so don't force anyone into doing it. You already have a couple people willing to roleplay and more will eventually come if this guild grows.
