The time is current. Somewhere in south Florida where voodoo is common...

This is Griseous,



he was a normal guy until an evil witch doctor transformed him into a puppet.

One day something ignited within Griseous, a large pair of black wings somehow grew from his body and it was at that moment that he took his first flight.

He flew as high as he could, determined to break free from his enslavement.
After months of inner torture and physical degradation; it had finally happened.

His strings snapped, his control device became smaller. His hat became a sash and his desire to smoke became a vibrant silk rose on his lapel. Griseous' eyes began to overflow with inspiration. His wings became gold, his skin glistened and his hair rose and changed color. With this new form, he aspired to do great things and to push his will for a better existence even further...



Eventually, his sheer force of will alone had set him free. No more did he long for freedom. He became freedom. He became, a God.



Anyone can set you free, but only you can cut your strings.

He doesn't have any companions as of late and the perils involved would change depending on what the other RPers had in mind. I'm thinking about doing something DnDish to add to the fun. We have the die roll option after all.

(Since I missed the last one, I'm making this one. I hope I make it spooky enough-)

One day, somewhere in the far past and at a far away village, rare people have known the myths of the 'thing'.
Nobody knew what was the 'thing'. Where it came from, who made it, what were its habits. Absolutely NOTHING.. Except for it's name.
Technically, it was just a nickname ever since an incident happened...The Finger Eater.

And so, the story starts when one day, a group of curious children have been gone camping for a few days to a nearby forest. The weather wasn't really well, it was cloudy and cold as usual.
On the last day of their small camping trip, it started raining. The kids had to search for a shelter, and so they did, leading them to a small, dark cave.

As they entered, a lot of blood and bones were scattered around the place, though our fellas didn't mind. Until... They found a spider web.

The web was large enough for an adult human to fit in, though instead of being regular, white web, it was black with a large red speck in the center.
Quiet hisses were heard, as a cold and dark voice spoke.

"You have to be brave enough to enter my lair and not run away, screaming~"

A nearby hunter has caught screams and terrifying hisses from the monster's lair. As soon as he reached the entrance, the show was over...
Kid corpses were now pinned on the cave wall as their fingers and innards were missing.

After this, the hunter attemps to go back to the village to report the horrifying news, but too late...

"I will never be found! Hahaha~"

Screams, painful screams... Blood scattered everywhere, piles of human flesh in a corner, human bodies on the walls...


Ever since the cave was discovered, it was explored as deep as possible, but the Finger Eater was never found. Eventually, the research crew decided to change the name into 'thing', so it could be forgotten easily...

"Remember kids, NEVER go onto a camping trip and enter a cave all by yourself!" The words children heard everytime they would go far away from home....

After even more years of research, it has been confirmed that the 'thing' was a spider-like creature, though traces of other organisms were found.
Further research has been canceled due to the beast's disappearance.

And so on, the legend of the Finger Eater continues.
