Ryu didn't waste any more time, the moment his opponent was in front of him and the announcer had given them the go ahead to begin their fight he quickly distanced himself from his opponent. Ready to give one hundred percent from the very beginning he wasted no time in chanting a spell and starting this whole thing off with a bang, he was ready to showcase exactly what he could do. "Vernier" he chanted as a a sigil appeared at his feet and wind seemed to surround his entire body, giving him a noticeable boost in agility as he continued to move around the arena much more quickly than before. He seemed to be circling his blue haired opponent from a distance, keeping a gap between them mostly due to the fact that his opponent had a short range weapon that could prove disastrous to the sky mage, so he'd attack from where he excelled, at an acceptable range for his wind based magic to reach maximum effectiveness. "Arms" he followed up with a secondary spell that seemed to be an aura of performance enhancing nature the same as the first he had used. Although this one focused on the strength of his spell and his offensive prowess helping to give him an upper hand against a higher ranking foe. Ryu knew where his flaws were, and where he would better stand a chance against the blue haired boy, keeping his distance and using his dragon's breath whenever he could would be his deciding factor in this battle.
Capturing a large amount of wind in his lungs as he kept backing away from his opponent, he knew he didn't need to be incredibly accurate in order to hit him, all he had to do was unleash a blast so powerful it'd be unable to miss. With this in mind he decided to use the strongest version of the attack that he could muster, in order to assure that he'd get the maximum amount of damage on his opponent in the beginning seconds of the round. "Sky Dragon's Breath!" he roared, revealing himself as a dragon slayer to the crowd, something he usually liked to keep hidden as his origins were a rather touchy subject. The spell he cast was a massive blast of air reaching tornado proportions as it funneled from his mouth with sharp cutting and concussive force heading straight for his opponent, it wouldn't be a simple task countering something this powerful, the sheer strength behind the spell was boosted by Arms making it such a powerful attack that no mere E-Ranking mage should have been able to create such a thing. Despite being the sky dragon slayer, a magic type that mostly revolved around supporting and empowering allies it seemed Ryu was a soloist and lone wolf at heart, creating a more offensive and powerful version of the magic he was given, something he could use on his own to destroy his enemies. After all he wouldn't allow himself to lose, ranking meant nothing, no matter who Ryu faced he would always come out on top, he had to.

The man was speaking but Kame didn't realize the speed he was using was given to him by his magic. He was excited thinking the man was actually fast enough on his own to fight at the same speed as Kame. He watched the man continue to circle around him until he finally took in a deep breath and shot out what seemed to be a tornado from his mouth his words revealed he was a Slayer. His smile grew, this was already exciting a roar attack right from the start. He knew the man was going all out. He didn't want to let the man down by holding back so he to would not hold back at all. The tornado shot out and Kame used his spell in return, "Break Out" His voice was soft yet was still full of confidence. A ball was placed above the tornado causing it to redirect upwards a second ball was placed closer to Ryujin to draw the attack back towards him and a third and final ball was created just behind Ryujin's back causing the tornado to shoot with the same speed and power towards Ryujin. He was not sure if the man could avoid his own attack considering how big the radius was. This was Kame's Gravity Magic. Since the spells were equal in rank he was able to redirect it with moderate ease. If it would have been an A-Rank it would only be pulled slightly making it possible to dodge still but he was confident the man would now be in danger of his own spell. with it being slightly off center making more of the tornado reach to the right making his only line of avoiding the attack would be to go left however the ball of gravity behind him would make it hard to move being a B-Rank spell and Ryujin being an E-Rank mage. he was confident he had him right where he wanted him. He used his speed to dash off to Ryujin's left in case he tried to avoid the attack and spoke once again, "Gravity Slash" He unsheathed his sword and slashed horizontally at the mans chest level from a mediocre distance away unleashing a blue energy from his sword that shot out towards the man, now he would have to deal with both attacks and both were powerful enough to cause quite a bit of damage. The slash would reach him just after the tornado, with it aimed at the chest it would extend a bit farther behind the mage, this would make it harder to avoid by dodging backwards as well. Kame stayed calm and took a rather open stance making it obvious he was not wanting to defend, he was having way too much fun already. ☆═════════━━━━━━━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━━━━━━━═════════☆ ★Moves★
Break Out :: This technique can be used to push or pull an object or person in any which direction depending on the blue concentrated ball of gravity force. The vocal point is not the user but rather a small target of gravity within the users sight. The user increases the gravity in a small area turning blue and attracting things near it towards the point, or causes the gravity to expel away from the vocal point thus pushing things away from the point. Anything within 25 yards of the vocal point will be affected aside from the user. Lasts 3 posts can only create 3 balls within the three posts active.
Gravity Slash :: The user will swing the weapon releasing a concentrated blue gravity based energy from the blade of the sword and shoots towards the target. If hit the slash will blast out and cause a great deal of blunt force and if unable to withstand the pressure will send anything hit by the attack flying a great distance away. B-Rank
A grin splayed across his face, his attack was redirected towards him, closing off his right and trapping him in a corner, his only option being to run straight into his opponent and his blade. He loved the recklessness and confidence of his opponent, his arrogance allowing him to believe that he could actually use one of Ryu's own attacks against him, as if it would be that easy. This gravity mage would not clip his wings, the sky was his domain and gravity was his worst enemy however he wouldn't let the laws of it defy his flight. With that same grin still plastered on his face he caught the scarlet eyes of his opponent, his dull grey hues seeming more lively and dangerous than ever as he stepped right into the tornado-like blast he had created. The powerful winds blew him all the way to the wall of the colosseum however the tearing winds seemed to not affect the man at all, instead when his body hit the walls the winds that brought him there seemed to completely heal his injuries from the collision. The sky dragons winds had more than one use, destruction was not its only purpose, restoration was a big part of what the sky dragon was known for, just as his roar had both a dangerous side, and a helpful one. Thanks to his aggressive stunt Ryu managed to keep the distance between himself and his opponent at an all time high, avoiding any dangers. Strategic fighting was one of his strong suits, unlike his opponent who seemed to charge in head on, despite his redirect being rather useful.
"Sky Dragon's Breath!" Ryu growled once again, it seemed this particular attack was his trump card, especially in a ranged battle. Seeing what his opponent could do with gravity so far had the dragon slayer worrying about getting close to him. The blasting winds were just as powerful as the first attack, however if Kame got hit by them he wouldn't be as lucky as Ryu, a refreshing gust of rejuvenation would not lay in wait, instead he'd be shredded by sharp winds. Ryu cocked his head, attempting to follow his opponent with the tornado-like blast of breath letting the steady stream continue to shoot from his mouth. He'd chase his enemy down with this dangers breath attack, the ranking of it was high, and his offensive capabilities with the boost of Arms was still in effect making it more deadly than it was usually. He'd force his opponent to stay on the move, and keep him at a distance, as the close Kame would get to Ryu the easier it'd be to strike him down with the torrential winds he was conjuring, with any luck he'd hit him with the blast and knock him straight into the colosseum walls, leaving a plethora of bruises and cuts on his opponents, perhaps yielding even more deadly results..

He laughed as the man created a good deal of distance between them. As the man spoke Kame slashed forward creating another Blue energy attack that then collided with the tornado, "Gravity Slash." With equal power both attacks were exploded upon impact creating a rather dense air hard to see through at first. Kame used this as a distraction and used his speed to blast forward through the dense air. He activated his Heavy Hit which would then became a passive for the entire fight, each hit that landed would take away 5 mana but it would double the weight of anything hit. Now being in close range he swung his sword 10 times, the dim glow had been on the blade since he swung his first gravity slash, this would make it hard to tell he was now using a new attack. This one was not dangerous at first but with a cut and the weight increase it could soon lead to a great deal of damage. He was not sure if his surprise attack combined with his speed would allow for a landed attack but he was not going to let up he was in close range now, and with matched speed he was not going to make it easy for Ryujin to create distance. This was the danger of facing an opponent whom enjoyed battle and didn't fear injury, he was aggressive and pushed a very fast pace. He was used to avoiding his magic until late in the fight but this opponent was fast enough to make him need to use his magic. He was getting more and more excited at each turn. this was a battle he was going to enjoy. Slayer's were always so powerful and advanced it made him work for a victory. Sora was the closest to defeating him but it was a draw. Sora was the reason he wanted to face the Slayers. He was to focused on the battle to pay attention to the stands including Fang's words. Ryujin had his full and undivided attention and it would stay like that until the fight was over. It seemed his opponent wasn't going down easy, consistently countering his assaults with his gravity based magic, it was becoming a nuisance to the slayer. His opponents quick movements were matched equally by Ryu thanks to his Vernier however the slashes he sent out were menacing and barbaric, it seemed no matter what the elder mage would be forced into close combat with his opponent. Deciding to cast away his thoughts of escaping and keeping this a ranged battle he instead would rely on his own reckless fighting nature. "Come on then, little hero!" he howled as the many slashes sent out by Kame began to rain down upon him, however he didn't put much effort in dodging and instead seemed to be sucking in the air around him preparing for another attack. Staying just inside the range of his slashes he let nine of then strikes slice into his right arm which he used as a blocker, most of them were shallow but the number of wounds inflicted was alarming, and on the tenth and final slash Ryu shot forward allowing the blade to cleave into his arm, deeper than the previous nine, almost embedded into it as he used his free hand grabbing hold of his opponents arm and holding him in place. Sacrificing his right arm completely as it fell limp at his side, feeling as if it had lost complete function, it had done it's job already and he wasn't worried.
"SKY DRAGON'S BREATH!!!" he screamed, the intensity of this attack was on the same level as the others except this time Kame was close, and not only that but Ryu had a hold of him. A blast from this range would likely tear him up good, and more so send him flying into the stone walls of the colloseum. Escaping was going to be tough in itself as the air was already funneling from his lungs and out of his mouth threatening to slice the young mage up. The point blank attack had been the thing Ryu was looking for from the beginning, there was a method behind the madness of sacrificing his arm, he wasn't afraid of expending a limb or two, he could cope with the pain, especially if it meant he could get his opponent back for it two fold like he was currently, Ryu highly doubted even the rather competent gravity mage would have any luck getting out of this situation without injury, in fact he was banking on that being the case. Ryu still had a few more tricks up his sleeve as well, this battle was far from over just because an arm was out of commission and he had suffered a few cuts.

He didn't let the severed limb stop his attack lashing out with his remaining 5 strikes he was aiming at the mans side where his arm had been lost and a single strike hitting his torso doubling the weight of his body the sudden increase would have most definitely caused a slight change in speed, maybe not drastic but enough of a change that Ryu would not be immediately used to. He made sure he was moving towards Ryu as to keep in striking range. If the man were to dodge the incoming attacks he would continue in tow, making sure he followed step for step still lashing out with their speed being matched it would be nearly impossible for Ryu to back pedal faster than Kame could run forward. This would make it increasingly difficult to avoid the strikes. However if he was to avoid them more strikes would follow, another 10 this time his swings would come from the blunt end of the sword making it clear he was not wanting to severely injure the man instead merely wanted to cause blunt force trauma. The blood pouring from the severed arm would surely soon make it difficult to continue due to blood loss alone. This would also slow down movement and make it easier for Kame to catch him and hit him with the blunt sword strikes. This man took a risk that backfired and now would continue to find it harder and harder to catch a break. It was not going to be easy but then again no fight should be easy. Kame was sure he was no longer in danger, the man was loosing blood and on the run even if he was to try and use a spell to heal it would leave him open and with one less limb to block and attack with it was looking a bit one sided.
If Ryu decided to continue pushing forward to grapple Kame, he would not cease his sword swings this would in turn guarantee his strikes would land increasing his weight and causing him to plummet to the ground due to the sudden increase in weight, if this was the case Kame would spin to the mans back and aim a single strike from the blunt end of his sword at the mans head, this would cause his head to increase in weight suddenly and crash into the ground with mediocre impact. If the hits were to miss while the man was coming forward to close the gap and use the Dragon Breath attack he had used so often Kame knew how much time he had until the breath attack would lash out. He would place his hand on the man's waist where his pants and shirt met making contact with both articles of clothing, this contact would feel like a normal reaction to try and push someone away. However it hid his true intentions in a spell, Gravity Touch, with his contact with the mans shirt he would use the spell to pull him backwards in a downwards diagonal angle to cause the spell to shoot upwards missing Kame and keeping him safe. Along with the shirt pulling he would use that time to swing 4 hits from the handle of his sword at the man's ribs attempting to increase the weight without cutting this time, considering Ryu would not be able to see an attack coming from below he was certain he had him this time. He didn't want to injure the man anymore than he already had, he had a look of concern on his face. However that concern did not stop him from attacking, it did stop him from attacking with lethal intent. He hated the idea of killing someone it would make him less of a Hero if he would take someones life in battle. Ryu was in a state of shock for a moment as he felt the intense weight on his arm ripping away at the tendons and muscle, even his bone. As the arm severed he howled out in pain however he put all his strength into keeping just enough distance, still at this rate Kame would catch up to him and make him pay, his unrelenting slashes raining down still. The hulking man had underestimated his opponent, or more-so he didn't collect enough data on him before engaging, it seemed even his weapon had gravity powers and he was paying the price for it now. This would change his plan tremendously, it seemed keeping distance was his best bet but breaking away now was going to prove difficult, he'd have to be quick witted, not only did he have to worry about the mage before him but his own wound was gushing blood, a severed arm was no small injury. He recoiled his arm, there would be no point in grabbing onto Kame now and risking injuring his remaining arm, instead he put all his strength in weaving and dodging the strikes being sent at him. The one thing he did go through with however was his high ranking Dragon's Breath attack, however it wasn't aimed at his opponent this time.
When Ryu unleashed the spell he aimed it at his feet and to the right, the torrent of wind was powerful enough to send him flying into the air and shoot towards the right putting a sizable distance between himself and Kame yet again, enough this time to remove any immediate threat, at least concerning the gravity mages sword. There was another reason as to why he took this course of action, by aiming the spell where he had he was able to stick out his mauled arm and effectively heal it to an extent due to the nature of his spell. It was a powerful piece of magic however it couldn't repair and entire limb from scratch, instead it only managed to stop the bleeding and help ease some of the pain ripping through his arm at the moment. Enough to keep him on his feet for this battle, however how much longer he could keep up he wasn't sure. Magical weaponry was proving to be a nuisance, he hadn't given his opponent and his arsenal enough credit before but now he knew to be wary of such things. For now the colossal slayer wasn't making a move, his breath attack had ended managing to put distance between himself and Kame, as well as help deal with the loss of his arm. He'd have to see what his opponent wanted to do from here, part of him hoping that his enemy would get over confident because of the triumph he had accomplished moments ago.

He was aware of the mans need to get away, remembering the breaths power to push him away he was sure that would be his scape goat, it wasn't a far fetched idea considering he already made distance between them once with the spell. He see the breath taken in by the man, he seen the man aim down with it. He was not going to let him escape so easily, he was already preparing a spell of his own "Gravity Push" He unleashed it on the ground propelling him towards Ryu whom just got sent flying as well. He was able to control his trajectory with his natural control over the gravity around himself. Using that as a way to angle himself to attack Ryu in mid air. Unless the man had a spell to manipulate the air around him he would find himself being hit in the torso again doubling it's weight. He was not going to let distance be put between them. He was right where he wanted to be, in a dog fight with an opponent that was more focused on creating distance than damaging him. He was sure that they were both going to be tired after the fight, they were both using a lot of mana but looking at them one wouldn't assume Ryu had used much since Kame was still in near perfect condition. He wanted to end the fight however he knew he would have to keep the distance between them minimal so he could use his sword effectively without exhausting his mana. This was Kame's preferred method of fighting using only necessary spells to attack or use in methods to aid him further and not just unleashing spells left and right to attack. If distance was created than he would have to resort to using a lot more mana for a offensive attack than just a few swings of his sword here and there. It was surprising to see his opponents prediction, able to grasp what Ryu's next move would be and attempt to match him, still if it was an aerial battle it was unlikely that Ryu would lose. Kame was not as safe as he presumed himself to be, waiting for Ryu to land would have been the best bet for the mage as now he was practically asking to be shredded apart by the sharp winds of the breath. Seeing as Kame had attempted to intercept him mid air while his spell was still active all Ryu had to do was re-position his head. Kame's slash attack would fall short from cutting at the man's torso as the hulking man cocked his neck and faced Kame sending his thrashing, spiraling breath of wind his way, causing his trajectory to change as well blasting himself away from the man yet again. The breath attack was a stream of sorts that he expelled from his lungs, coming close to him while he was still in the middle of using such a spell was only asking for trouble. Thanks to this sudden change in trajectory it caused Ryu crash against one of the colloseum walls before he cut off the breath attack. He had managed to keep himself out of the gravity mages clutches for now, however he wasn't sure if his attack had actually landed a blow this time either. The man was in mid air, and close enough to nearly slash him so it would be a tough situation to work ones way out of, but Kame seemed to be full of tricks so Ryu wasn't sure what to think anymore. If he had managed to hit the mage from such a close proximity the damage he sustained would likely be hefty, not as much as long an arm but he'd probably be met with numerous cuts and scratches, some deeper than others.

He kept chasing being slightly slower than the attack that was pushing Ryu away he seen him crash into the wall. He stayed airborne and stood still in mid air. he was seemingly floating. "You're not half bad Ryujin. I am just surprised that you are only using one spell. Don't you have more in your arsenal. Let's kick this up a notch, I am ready to fight you at your best, so don't hold back." He said with a smile, it was clear he was enjoying himself. He was not being placed in danger but a game of cat and mouse is fun in it's own way. It was like playing tag, he let his sword drop to his side as he stood there in the sky. If all Ryu had was his breath spell this was going to be rather disappointing Kame wanted to see what else this Dragon slayer could do. He was used to versing Sora who had a lot of spells. He wanted to be pushed to his limits and be challenged. He was impressed that Ryu was still fighting after losing an arm but he would need more than heart to beat Kame at this point. As his opponent spoke freely with him, relenting for the first time this entire fight, it seemed Ryu had managed to earn the mans respect through what felt like cowardice. If it were up to him he wouldn't be running around, however his supportive magic just wasn't made for this kind of one on one brute force type battle. Perhaps if he had been paired up with any other opponent he would have managed to best them, but this gravity mage had him bested thus far, it was as if his wings were clipped in the presence of this man. "You overestimate my arsenal.. I'm not equipped with many offensive spells, my prowess lies in speed and hand-to-hand combat two aspects you trump me in..." he explained rather bluntly, he wasn't about to take praise he hadn't earned, he had nothing else to show this man, all he could use was his very few offensive based skills, despite wanting to become a force to be reckoned with he was far from it, the dragon slayer magic taught to him by his mother was all meant to project and help others, save for his signature roar. He'd have to further develop his skills before he'd manage to become a true menace. With his remaining arm he ran it through his dirty grey hair, all he could feel at this moment was pain and defeat, the searing pain shooting up his arm was excruciating but he wasn't about to throw in the towel, he would fight until his last ounce of strength, even if he was just a one trick pony. Ryu was the type that wouldn't forgive himself if he wasn't able to give it his all the entire time he was battling, and this case was no difference, he acknowledged his own weakness but would fight through it regardless.
"I may not excite you, but I won't give up.. you'll have to strike me again and again until I can no longer move an inch, that's the only way" Ryu's conviction was not so easily destroyed. He was ready to press on until his body was nothing more but waste, it was his way of doing things. He didn't care about the way others viewed him, or if his opponent was much stronger than himself, he'd never stop pushing forward. Some would see it as recklessness, he didn't much care what they thought it was, for him it was just natural, he'd put every last ounce of his body and soul into every fight, until one person was left standing, until he couldn't move a muscle. "Vernier, Arms, Armor" he chanted, empowering himself yet again with the same kind of supportive magic that had boosted his speed, and strength earlier on in the fight. This time he added on a third magic, an armament which would allow him to take a little more punishment, something he likely should have introduced from the get go. Still it was too late to second guess himself, this fight was coming to its climax, it was now or never, and if Ryu was going out he was about to go out giving it everything he had, down to the last of his reserves.

So maybe I should sheath my sword and finish this fight like a man. Man-to-man. That is if you want to fight this out without pointy objects." He finished speaking and sheathed his sword, throwing it into the dirt behind him as he descended to the ground. As his feet hit the dirt he stepped forward, nearing the man he cracked his knuckles and neck with a smile. Hearing him speak once again he shook his head, "I never said I wasn't excited, I just thought slayers had many more ways of attacking. You excite me just fine, I just wasn't aware of the vast differences between each elemental slayer. I just thought each slayer was just as deadly as the last, I much prefer your element. It makes our fighting styles similar." His smile got larger as he heard the final words of the man. "Very well, I was going to offer a truce for a draw. However if you want to continue I have no choice but to fight you at a much closer range. I warn you tho, just cause I don't have my sword doesn't mean I'm going easy on you. So don't take me lightly." His words soft but his demeanor was full of confidence. He was not going easy on him, in fact the sword throwing was merely a show if he convinced the man he was laying down the one thing that gave him an edge maybe an opening would emerge to capitalize on. At least his narrow thinking made him believe so. With Setzer demanding a final show, and Ryu demanding a final collision. The place filled him with even more excitement, this was why he wanted to be a Hero, the rush of fighting with others even if not to kill them but rather better his understanding of them. Heavy Hit :: Every time the sword makes contact with something the affected area will double in weight gaining a very dim blueish glow. With each hit the affected area gets heavier and the glow get brighter eventually becoming to heavy to hold up if its an object or limb or move in if it is armor. once activated it lasts the entire fight but will only cost to activate then every hit will cost an extra 5 mana. Ryu was impressed by his opponents words and show of strength, willing to face off against him one on one without the use of weapons, he greatly respected the man before him for this and planned to give him his best. Even with only one arm, and equally one fist he'd still give Kame a fight to be remembered, his fists against that of his opponent. Part of him wanted to fight without the use of magic however that was unlikely to happen, plus his arm missing meant he'd be at a disadvantage in that scenario as well. The pain was still shooting up what was left of his arm, however the adrenaline pumping through him was enough to keep his mind off the pain. "I wouldn't expect anything less" he retorted as Kame told him he wouldn't be taking it easy on him just because his weapon was out of the equation. He wasn't sure how much trust he could place in his opponent however he seemed honorable enough, he already had the advantage so using his sword any further would likely mean overkill for Ryu at this point. With all their praises and speeches out of the way it was time for the two of them to get down to business, and he had no problem leading the assault, he was a one trick pony with one arm, he wouldn't have the upper hand in this battle regardless of who launched their attack first, still that wasn't stopping him from giving his all.
Ryu took off at high speeds towards Kame, although any movement he made would easily be matched by his opponent as he had been able to keep up with him this entire time. Plus the added weight on his severed limb was becoming a slight hindrance to him as well, still he was able to keep up with Kame for the most part, even if his speed was slightly higher than his own. Ryu drove forward with no fear, appearing right in front of the blue haired male with a cocked fist which he shot forward aiming for his opponents collarbone, at the same moment his right foot was aiming for Kame's thigh, anchoring itself for an aggressive impact. It seemed his hand-to-hand combat was not half bad despite his missing limb. This was where Ryu felt most powerful, however against someone like Kame he wasn't too sure of himself, his opponent likely had more tricks up his sleeve still.

He had not expected Ryu to be so straight forward. This was what he wanted but he figured Ryu would have held off the assault, at least that was what Kame thought due to the fight so far. He was able to barely block the punch but didn't see the kick until it was too late. His legs swept out from under him but he recovered by placing his palm flat on the ground while falling and twisting throwing a kick to the mans chest. It wouldn't have been a super powerful kick but one that would make a solid thud when connected. If it was to hit he would flip back to his feet with the added momentum from the impact. If not he would simply twist past the man's body and let his feet down to the ground to stand up. Either way he would be facing the man when all was said and done. He was not surprised by the speed and power of the man but the aggression was most certainly a surprise. He was not sure if the man was holding back and avoiding the close ranged fight due to the sword alone or if He was simply trying to gauge Kame's skills. He was impressed the man still had this much fighting spirit, after losing an arm most would have given up especially since it wasn't a life or death type of fight it was only for a tournament. Ryu had guts and heart it was an opponent Kame loved to fight and a person he'd like to befriend.
