History/Background :: Why was this guild created?
1) I noticed LK has many friendly players. Most admitted they were lurkers, too shy to post, but feel at home on the Lake Kindred forums. Yet many have said the LK forum feels slow or dead. Which leads to..
2) Why not have a place where us players can come together, chat, or hangout while playing Lake Kindred?
3) Because the LK forum is only for Lake Kindred related posts, we can have a place to discuss anything, like the Chatterbox but with all the trolls and immaturity weeded out; Here we can hang out with fellow friendly LK-loving people!
4) I noticed the same questions are being asked over and over, threads being bumped away (especially with all the spam bots). I'd like subforums where posts are neat and organized - easy on the eyes and where everyone's posts are sure to be seen.
5) Thus, the Kingdom of Kindred was born...!!
Where Should I Post?
- [Cubdrop's Chathouse] - Feeling chatty? Come introduce yourself, make new friends, talk about anything and everything at the Cubdrop's Chathouse! It can be Kindred-related or not! We have also set up our Guild chatroom where your avatar can live-chat anytime with fellow members.
- [Leafkit's Treehouse] - Have questions? Need help? Beginner or veteran players can check out Leafkit's Treehouse. Here you can find guides, tips, advices, and answers to your questions. You can also post your own personal goals, quests, tracking threads, what kins you got from opening RIGs, etc.
- [Nyaruma's Bazaar] - Have an abundance of eggs? Want to give them away for free? Want to sell/buy LK-related items? Have services like leveling up, splicing, etc? Nyaruma's Bazaar is the marketplace area for you!
- [Kitsuko's Golden Stage] - Contests and events are held at Kitsuko's Golden Stage. All are welcome to set up and host your own! (Examples of contests [where there are winners]: "Guess my favourite music group and win a Nyaruma!" or "First to roll the number 20 wins some Ally Plus" or "Whoever posts the funniest video gets a Stagony". Examples of events [where anyone can join] can be Secret Santa, Anon Gifts, etc.)
- [Aerling's Art Plaza] - Are you an artist in need of gold or LK-items? Set up your shop at Aerling's Art Plaza!
- [Echo's Mailbox] - Got suggestions and ideas for new events or on how to make our guild better? Drop off your post at Echo's Mailbox!
- [Main Front Forum] - Reserved for announcements, updates, obligatory posts.
Rules
1) RESPECT others! Please do not make others feel uncomfortable by being rude or mean.
2) The rest is common sense. Follow Gaia's ToS blah blah blah.
3) More may be added later, but let's try to avoid any negativity!
4) As of 8/19/2016 I am officially retiring from Gaia due to a busy real life. The guild ownership and permissions have been passed onto the Crew and they may change or make new rules.
