*The first floor of the school is the lobby and the kitchen. The lobby is comfortably furnished with couches and coffee tables, and there are elaborate paintings of landscapes hanging on the wall. On some of the tables there are marble chessboards laid out for any who wish to play a game or two. One table to the far end of the lobby has a chessboard carved from wood. That is Jerrit's personal board, though he rarely uses it. The kitchen is like the kitchen of a restaurant, and is prepared to cook for any number of guests. The pantry is stocked with snacks.
The second floor is where the infirmary and Miss Anastasia's private quarters are. The infirmary is huge, and is prepared with comfortable, if small, beds for the wounded. Anastasia keeps a cabinet filled with a vast assortment of potions and medicines for any malady, and has a mild shock charm trapped on it in case anyone other than her tries to open it.
The third floor consists of the training rooms. Most of them are for sparring, and the floors are carefully padded. Some of the other rooms have weights and other kinds of training implements. All of the rooms in the third floor are carefully sound-proofed.
The fourth floor consists of Orb's private quarters and the technological monstrosity that is the heart of EKASS. Only Orb and Jerrit can enter the room in which EKASS is based. Anyone else who tries will promptly get ported away at random, and the sign on the door carefully explains the dangers. Also on the fourth floor is the Gauntlet... an obstacle course designed by Orb to test one's strength, agility, and cunning. Orb can almost invariably be found on the fourth floor, tinkering with either EKASS or the Gauntlet. Like the third floor, the walls on the fourth floor are sound-proofed.
The fifth floor is the guild members' private quarters. Jerrit's room is up here, and it is carefully warded against intruders. If you are a member of the guild, your room is probably on the fifth floor.
The sixth floor is nothing but guest quarters. The guest quarters are comfortable, but small, as there must be a lot of them.
The seventh floor is for storage, and it is sealed to prevent access.*
