Certain dragons bred will get you new dragons. Here is a list of all the dragons and their breeding times.
Terra based
Terra + Flame both being levels 4 - 9, you will only get a volcano or a flaming rock. Flaming rock dragons take 30 seconds to hatch and volcano dragons take 1 minute.
Terra + flame being levels 10-14, you will get the same two dragons as before, nothing new.
Terra + flame levels 15-19 you will get those two and possibly the Aztec dragon. Aztec dragons will take 16 hours.
Terra + flame levels 20+ you will get those 3 only.

Terra + Aztec
Below level 15, you will only get Terra, Flaming Rock or Volcano.
Above that, you can get an Aztec dragon.

From the Terra and Flame breeding, best do those at level 15 + in order to get the best results, or breed them under level 15 to get the volcano and the flaming rock, but do not breed those two or their offspring again until you've gotten them to level 15 in order to get the Aztec dragon.
Now, the third dragon you will get in the game is a sea dragon.
So, since we are doing Terra based only for now, let us see those combos.
Terra + Sea all combos using those two in that order:
1. Mud - 5 hours
2. Waterfall - 4 hours
3. Plankton - 16 hours
4. Jelly - 9 hours
Flaming Rock + Sea
1. Blizzard - 2 hours
2. Cloud - 5 hours
3. Mud
4. Waterfall
5. Plankton
6. Jelly

The 4th dragon element is Nature
So, lets see the Terra + Nature combos first:
1. Tropical or Cactus in 7 hours
2. Centipede or deep forest in 16 hours
Now lets see if we add the Terra + flame combo with Nature:
The new ones you'd get are
1. Butterfly - 9 hours
2. Firebird - 7 hours
3. Spicy - 7 hours
Now lets see if we use the terra + sea combos with Nature:
New ones you'd get are
1. Coral - 9 hours
2. Nenufar - 5 hours
3. Seahorse - 16 hours

Flaming Rock + electric
1. Hot Metal - 9 hours

4. Aurora - 16 hours
Mud + Electric combos
1. Storm - 9 hours
2. Lantern Fish - 7 hours
3. Hydra - 40 hours
Cactus + Electric combos
Nothing new! Its the same if you bred Terra + electric

Metal cannot breed with Terra directly, so you must use a second element to breed these two.
So, here are the combos using the current elements we have:
If we breed Flaming rock with Metal we can get...
1. Steampunk - 13 hours
2. Medieval - 9 hours
3. Ruby - 16 hours
4. Carnival - 16 hours
If we breed Mud with Metal we can get...
1. Mercury - 9 hours
2. Seashell - 9 hours
3. Hammer - 11 hours
If we breed Cactus with metal we can get...
1. Jade - 13 hours
2. Dragonfly - 13 hours
3. Emerald - 16 hours
If we breed star with metal we can get...
1. Gold - 9 hours
2. Battery - 13 hours

Now things get interesting. Since we did all the terra based dragons, lets start breeding the brand new ones we got from those. Aztec does not count, nor does Volcano.
Okay, I just used Alpine with Gold.
Gold we got from breeding Star with Metal.
So, breeding Alpine (Terra + Ice) with Gold, you can get these new dragons..
1. Armadillo! This dragon is a Terra + Metal dragon.
2. Pearl - Ice + Metal
3. Platinum - Ice + Metal
4. Treasure - also Terra + Metal
So, lets see what we can get if we breed Flaming rock with all of our brand new ones.
Flaming rock + Blizzard = nothing new
Flaming Rock + cloud = nothing new
Flaming rock + Butterfly = Paradise Dragon!
Flaming Rock + Coral = Nothing new
Flaming Rock + Hot Metal = Nothing new
Flaming rock + Storm = nothing new
Flaming Rock and ruby = nothing new
Flaming rock + Viking = Korean soccer, soccer, cool fire, Ice fire

I am not going to get into the Light, war, Legend or pure types unless they will be a result of these basic elements.
We finished off with Terra based. Now for flame based.
Please note that we did the basic of the flame breeding when we used our flaming rock dragon.
Cloud, blizzard are results of basic sea.
Firebird, Paradise, Spicy, Butterfly are flame + Nature types.
Music, Hot metal, Laser, and Aurora are all Flame + Electric
Steampunk, Medieval, Ruby, and Carnival are all Flame + Metal
Dark fire, Vampire, and Joker are all Flame + Dark
Korean Soccer, soccer, cool fire, and Ice fire are all Flame + Ice
So now, what we are going to do is breed these and the new ones resulting from the terran breeding.
Blizzard (Sea + Flame) + Jade (Nature + Metal) = nothing new

Breeding opposites will get you new dragons.
Nature cannot breed with electric plain, but if you breed Mojito (Nature + Ice) with Neon (Dark + electric) you can get a Gummy dragon.

Sanctuaries can help breed new dragons too.
If you have a maxed out sanctuary (level cool and you bred the Armadillo dragon with the gummy dragon, you may get these dragons:
Ninja - 9 hours
Supersonic - 77 hours
Magnet Dragon - 39 hours
