Shirotsume is the town that Everlue and Kaby Melon resided in.
The detailed location of the city was never revealed; however, there is a strong likelihood that it is either close to Magnolia Town, or that it is so small that it doesn't have its own railway station.
Shirotsume is a small town located in a mountainous area. It has a feudalistic government, and Everlue had complete and total control over the town, until Team Natsu arrived. Disclosure of his behavior led to his arrest.

It had been at the very least a month since her and Rin had run into Damien, the battle between the two S-Rank mages was ineradicable and both of them were giving it their all. Unfortunately for Alessandra she was to weak to even be a helping during the fight and she still kicked herself for it; all she could do was run and get attacked. Alessandra had kept her feelings of disappointment hidden from Rin, she needed to study and train more. The last attack she had preformed against one of Damien's beast was from one of her advanced spellbooks, Canor Liber, which made her mute for about a week; because of this she couldn't verbally protest to any of Rin's proposals which only made her feel worse. Was she really so weak that someone had to protect her? In any case she now had a travel buddy and although she liked Rin's company she worried that her adventures to find rare and exotic books would bore him; not everyone liked going from town to town looking for books or digging around ruins in hopes to hind any rumored books.
As she strolled into Shirotsume she felt as if she was walking back in time, the town and the people reminded her so much of those in her hometown. The streets held people of all different ages and a lot of older people sat out in front of shops and homes talking to one another. Alessandra smiled as she nodded her head to a few older gentlemen who watched her walk by. Those who looked at her would have never guessed she was a mage, she wore a cream colored sundress that was overlaid with lose sheer fabric that held a floral design and simple sandals that would allow her to run if she needed to. She walked with grace as she avoided those who walked in her direction, she might be a simple book mage but she was raised by parents and a nanny who drilled into her that being a lady took presidency over everything else. Alessandra's hazel colored eyes searched for any sign of a book store in the small town, she was told it was tucked away where it could easily be missed. "In a place hidden by shadows, where no eyes will look, the building sits. Looking at memories of the past and hopes that ended to soon. White tall stones mark the land but still the store sits, rarely visited for sorrow surrounds it." She muttered out loud as she thought about what it could mean, she was told by an owner of a book store in Crocus that were was a bookstore somewhere in the area but he gave her a riddle so other that may want to harm books wouldn't find it. Alessandra sighed as she stopped walking and hung her head "Why must these secret bookstores be hidden and have riddles attached to the, it just makes everything harder!" she spoke more to herself than to anyone else, her voice was quiet as she thought out loud, she knew there were people out there that burned books and especially rare books like her spellbooks so it was understandable why there was a riddle but she was well known in almost all the book stores; she only wished that the owners would just tell her and not give her the riddle to solve. Alessandra moved over to a bench that was clear of people, she sat to rest her tired feet as she leaned back her head to look up at the blue sky; her blonde hair falling away from her face and resting on her shoulders.
A few feet behind Alessandra, Rin could be seen with hands tucked behind his head and fingers interlocked as he stared idly up at the sky. He had been trailing after his guildmate ever since their encounter with her crazy ex-best boyfriend. Or whatever he was to start with. Now all he boiled down to was an enemy. An insane boy hellbent on destroying Alessandra for some stupid perceived slight. Granted, despite his insanity, the dark mage was definitely strong. Their fight had pushed the Devil Slayer nearly to his limits, and he liked to think the same was true for Damien. Even now, a month later, Rin was sporting some of the cuts and bruises from that encounter. A deep gash along his side had been among the most severe and would likely leave a nice scar once it healed completely.
Rin couldn't understand what Damien's problem was. Not really anyway. But the teenager did know that the dark mage would be targeting Alessandra, waiting for her to be alone or at her weakest so he could strike. The Devil Slayer swore to never let that happen. And so, time and again, he offered his assistance with jobs. Sure the search could be boring, but he was okay with that. He could pick up other jobs from time to time that meshed with the jobs that Alessandra had taken on. Kill two birds with one stone. He drew in a breath and let it out slowly. His blue gaze drifted from the clouds, coming to rest on the girl's form ahead of him. While Alessandra hadn't said anything, Rin got the feeling that his constant presence was striking some sort of nerve with her. He knew she could take care of herself if needed. She was stronger than she gave herself credit for. Yet he just couldn't bring himself to back down from protection mode. Maybe I should stop asking her so much...
His ears perked up at hearing her mumble something under her breath. Cocking his head to one side, Rin followed her over to the bench, leaning against the wall next to it. His eyelids slid shut as a gentle breeze ruffled his hair. "Maybe you're overthinking it." He offered quietly to his friend, relaxed as could be.

These weapons are connected by a large chain of ice that spirals around him several times, with the blades pointing outwards. At such a point, the fire takes on the shape of a fierce, flexible "column", or- as befitting the spell's name- an unconventional red carpet. "What do you think the riddle means?" Alessandra responded to Rin as she ran her fingers from her bangs down through the rest of her hair. She turned her head slightly to look up at Rin, normally riddles and puzzles were Alessandra's thing but this one was just flat out weird. "In a place hidden by shadows....." she turned her head back to the sky above as she slowly repeated the riddle out loud "Where no eyes will look...Looking at memories of the past and hopes that ended to soon.... White tall stones mark the land" she let out a long sigh as she pushed herself forward just enough that she was sitting up straight "What type of stone is white?" her brown eyes scanned the area for any possible clues, just past several building sat a very dark foresty area that seemed hidden out of sight from those in the small town. The white grave stones that marked the area were well hidden by tall grass and fat trees. From where Alessandra sat it would be difficult if not impossible for her to even see a glimpse of white stone hidden by the grass. If standing and a little bit taller, like an inch taller, she could possibly see the white hidden by the grass. Deeper into the neglected area sat the bookstore Alessandra was looking for, it was old and decrepit looking, the windows looked like they were covered in dust yet the faint light of a candle could be seen if one looked hard enough.
As she sat there trying to think her mind would every so often remind her of the battle only a few month prior and the scar left on her abdomen from the stone cage she was trapped in. Her mind began to wonder as her left hand came up and lightly touched the area where her scar rested "will it be worth it..." her voice was hushed as she spoke her thoughts out loud, unknown to her what had just slipped out of her mouth. The book she was hoping to find was rumored to be one of two very rare books. A spell book that turned dark hearts to the light or a tome to help a mage increase the physical strength they had. Either way Alessandra wanted the book, her friend needed someone to show him the way back out of the shadows. The Damien the two fought was not the one she knew long ago, something had happened to turn him to the person he was now but she didn't know what. Even if Alessandra couldn't save him she would try, though the reason she wanted the book was her secret. All she had shared with Rin was that it was a book of great power that could either help her become a better book mage or that is was just a really rare book; nothing more and nothing less. She knew there would be great disapproval toward her if the truth of the book came out, Damien was extremely dangerous and with his determination of making Alessandra pay for whatever she did, she knew that the chances of her getting close enough to help him were slim to none; but she couldn't let her friend continue to slip into the darkness.
"Hmmm..." Rin drew in a deep breath and let it out slowly. He studied the brilliant blue sky above while he pondered the words of the riddle. "It's not much to go on is it?" The taller teenager stated after a moment of silence. "Where no eyes will look. Looking at memories of the past and hopes that ended too soon. White tall stones mark the land... Sounds like someone had one heck of an imagination." Rin scratched the side of his head. Where no eyes will look... He repeated to himself, tilting his head forward a little. Looking at memories-- What the heck does that even mean?! Man were riddles frustrating! They weren't exactly his forte either which only lent itself to the difficulty.
Tilting his head forward, Rin stared out at the city before them. It was a quiet little town with the citizens going about their business. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. No dark auras, no dismal alleyways giving off bad vibes. So what sort of riddle about despair could lead to such a place? The Devil Slayer's eyes roved over the buildings and people, to the road out of town, before eventually coming to rest on the fat trees in the distance. His gaze lingered there for a brief second then started to drift elsewhere. A flash of white gave him pause, however, and he immediately looked back at what had caught his attention. "Hey, Ale, what do they use to mark graves around here?" Rin bet he knew the answer, but wanted to be sure. After focusing more fully on where the burst of white had been, he had been able to pick out a tall white stone hidden well among the tall grass of the hill. Its shape held the typical arch pattern indicative of a gravestone.

"Some sort of white stone... but I don't think they have a graveyard here... at least not anymore... I hear it got moved thanks to some grave robbers...." Alessandra sighed as she spoke, not relating what she had said to the riddle. Slowly rising from her seat she brushed off her dress before turning to her friend "What are you thinking about?" she asked as she moved closer to him, her eyes following the direction he was looking in; but because she was just a little to short Alessandra couldn't see what Rin was seeing, all it looked like was tall grass that looked somewhat lush. "Maybe the white stone is a monument or some sort..." She slowly turned to begin her walk again, her thoughts where no longer on the riddle but on the book she hopped to find. As she walked her thoughts were being strung out into an orderly process, forcing her to go back to the riddle that laid before the two of them. "White stone... wait a minute...." she turned back in the direction Rin was and with one swift movement, leaped to him in an attempt to hug him "Rin! You're a genius!" she praised in a joyous voice as she hugged him though quickly released at realizing what she did. "Ah... W-white stone! They're not a monument!" she tried to turn her attention back to the riddle at hand "Well... I mean they kinda are... but that's not the point.... They might have moved their graveyard but that doesn't mean they moved the stones! That explains both the stones, memories, and where eyes never look!" Alessandra rambled as she was getting even more excited now, most of the riddle was solved, there was just one problem remaining... there was no explanation on where the graveyard was at.
Alessandra was so excited that she had forgotten this small fact as she turned to find the graveyard, in her mind it sounded easy to find. All she needed to do was look for white stone. Her steps had a bit of a skip in it, her excitement pouring out even into her walk. "I can get the book, it will be in safe hands, things are starting to look up a bit!" she was ecstatic just about, to those who didn't know, about a simple book;the nerd in her seemed to be leaking out into her actions as she move forward. Though it didn't take long for Alessandra to stop her skipping walk as she looked around ".... where would a graveyard like that be...?" She hadn't gotten very far from where Rin and her first stopped to rest; her wide brown eyes glanced around the small town looking for a small rugged road or a metal fence that was well rusted. There was nothing her eyes could find the even hinted at the old graveyard and she knew better than to ask. Why would someone want to visit on old graveyard other than to possibly rob it. Alessnadra move her right hand up to her cheek as she pressed her index finger against it as she thought, "Maybe...... I spoke to soon...." she was still excited that the riddle was figured out but now was the harder part of finding the stinking place. A chaotic mess of possible areas filled Alessandra's head as she racked her brain for any possible ideas.
Rin's lips pulled back in a lop-sided smirk. Looks like we're finally getting somewhere. He opened his mouth to say as much to Ale, but stopped short when she suddenly burst forth with excitement. Her arms wrapped around him in a massive hug that he wasn't expecting in the slightest. Taken aback, he stood rooted to the spot with his hands lifted up an inch or so. The Devil Slayer felt his cheeks flush beet red with an interesting mixture of embarrassment and enjoyment. Though he wouldn't admit as much to his friend.
It appeared as if Ale realized what she had done. Sensing her pull away, he chanced a peek down at the girl. Her attention had shifted quickly from the embrace back to the riddle at hand. The difference now was that she tried to figure out the location of the graveyard, not grasping he reason for Rin asking about graves in the first place. Rin's expression softened as he gazed at the Requip mage. "Heh." He chuckled and shook his head. Moving to where Ale now stood, the teenager reached down and grasped her hand. "You're overthinking it again." He quipped with a grin as he continued walking, his pace quickening little by little until both were running. Past the vendors and restaurants, through the wide streets and past the stone walls, out of the city and up the hill to where he knew the gravestones lay.

Alessandra hadn't noticed Rin come up, her thoughts were still on where in the world the graveyard could be. Her brown eyes widened as she felt a hand clasp onto her's followed by the voice of her friend; her cheeks turned a rose as he lead her away. Alessandra's eyes watched the back of Rin's head as they began to move faster until they were running; only taking a small glance at their hands as he lead her out of the city and to a grassy hill. She trusted his direction and allowed him to lead her to wherever he was taking her; the grass was still just a little to tall for Alessandra to see over still but she would see white out of the corner of her eyes as the ran to the hill. There, coming into sight, was an old building that looked like it was falling apart. The building itself was stone, with two floors, clay shingles rested on the roof though in some part it was obvious they they had fallen off. The windows looked absolutely disgusting, dirty, dusty, and almost impossible to see in; the door looked like it was about ready to fall off and the small plant and grass the surrounded the building were obviously dead. From where the building sat Rin and Alessandra could see the who town and the valley around it, the white stones that marked the land were visible to even Alessandra, and the fat trees that blocked any view from below now just looked like normal trees that didn't grow every tall. The Requip mage wanted to stop and take in the view but there was no time for that now, maybe when they were leaving she could enjoy the view.
Alessandra slowed her pace to a walk as she let her hand slip out of Rin's, her brown eyes looked over every little piece of the outward building. She wasn't one to judge things by their outward appearance but to anyone else the place would look more like a witches home than a book store. With a deep breath Alessandra marched passed Rin and right up to the door, not even stopping to consider that this might not even be the right place. However when she opened the door the inside looked totally different than the outside. Inside there were shelves of books everywhere, most having weird designs on them of strange languages. In front of the door was a desk with a few candles lit and some books scattered around, but no one sitting at the desk. The store held a musky book smell with the combination of mold and mildew. Alessandra crinkled her nose as she fully stepped into the store before turning back to Rin "I won't be very long if you don't want to come it." She spoke kindly to her friend as she gave him a soft smile before another voice come echoing from somewhere in the old building. The language the voice spoke was odd and for those who never studied the ancient language or even have heard it wouldn't know what it was, however for Alessandra it was just a second language to her; all of her books and spells were in the ancient tong "I've come in search of a book, my friend and I mean you, and these books, no harm." Alessandra spoke back as she looked around for where the voice came from. To her surprise a small child wearing a heavy looking cloak and tugged at the bottom of her dress, the small child continued to speak to Alessandra in the ancient tong as she knelt down to the little child's height. Her nodding of the head showing she understood what the child was saying.
At their fast pace, it took the two mages no time to reach the top of the hill. They passed row after row of white gravestones, the tiny markers standing like silent sentinels in testament to the past. Eventually, the graveyard gave way to a decrepit looking building. "Is this it?" Rin stared at the structure in disbelief. He took a step to the side, leaning to peer around the left corner of the building, before shuffling over to the other wall to repeat the process. The Devil Slayer had envisioned the bookstore in many ways since Alessandra told him about her objective. All of his imaginative drawings in his mind didn't even come close to what he was seeing. "Are you sure? It looks like an old hag's going to come flying out with a broom to swat us with."
Rin felt Alessandra's hand slip from his at that moment. "Hm?" He started to turn his head to ask her what was wrong when she strode past him. Blinking, the teen-aged boy watched with curiosity as his friend went right up to the door and straight into the bookstore. "Ehhhh?!" He jumped in shock at the stark difference he witnessed within. Whereas the building appeared in shambles on the outside, inwardly it was nice and organized and well-kept. Once the initial surprise subsided, Rin took a few quick steps forward and leaned the upper portion of his body over the threshold so he could take a closer look. Books. Books everywhere! And all with strange appearances.
Alessandra's voice called to him to let him know hat she wouldn't be long if he didn't want to come inside. Rin tilted his head in her direction, locking eyes with her to make sure she would be alright. As much as he could respect someone who read, it wasn't his favorite thing in the world. Being inside a bookstore, even an ancient one like this, felt stifling to him. "Yeah, I'll hang out here." He pointed to his left with a broad grin on his face. The raven-haired boy moved off to the side then and removed his sword from his shoulder. Propping it up next to the door jamb, he lowered himself to the ground, situating his back against the wall and bringing his knees to his chest. Rin's blue gaze drifted across the hillside. Birds sang softly above. A gentle breeze wafted through the trees, rustling his hair as it blew past. It's peaceful here. He noted with an appreciative grin. Ale's faint voice could be heard speaking to another in some language that Rin didn't understand. It was an ancient language, one that had an oddly soothing quality to it. Soon enough, Rin found his eyelids growing heavy and they slowly slid closed. He fell asleep in no time. A grin still gracing his features.

Alessandra spoke to the child quietly in the only language he seemed to know, as she explained the type of book she was looking for. Since she knew Rin wouldn't understand what she was saying Alessandra was able to describe what the book did to the little child, though her reason for it was kept a secret. The small child lead Alessandra down stairs into the basement part of the bookstore where even more rare and exotic books sat. The small child left her alone done there as she searched and instead went to watch Rin sleep, the small child curious on why he didn't want to step inside the store. The little boy would sit at the windowsill staring at Rin until Alessandra had came back from the basement. In her hands was a dark green book that looked slightly chard, gold writing and ornate decorations covered the book and every page that was in it, this book like all of Alessandra's other books, was written in the ancient language which meant very few people could read it. The small child who watched Rin came running to the counter Alessandra had set the book down on, the child stepped quietly making him near impossible to hear. The possess was quick and with a few scribbled of a pen and the exchange of Jewels the book now belonged to Alessandra.
She held onto the book as she walked out of the door, her step soft as she soon stopped at the sight of a sleeping Rin. Letting out a small chuckle as her brown eyes gazed down at Rin, a soft smile played on her lips as her held her gaze only a moment longer; not wanting to wake him right away Alessandra moved swiftly her stepped were muted despite the dead leaves and plants around the building. She made her way to the edge of the hill, gracefully moving her way down to the ground she sat with her legs curled under her as she looked over the city bellow. She placed the book she had gotten on her lap, one hand resting gently on it she she peered into the distance. The breeze on the hit felt nice for how warm the day had gotten and with the sun shining so brightly everything seemed to just pop with color. A small sigh of content escaped from her as she watched the distant people interact with on another. "This would be a great spot for a picnic." She spoke mainly to herself as her eyes scanned the fields that lay just beyond the city. Alessandra moved her eyes from the breath taking view to the book that sat in her lap, as one hand stroked the book the other moved her long blond hair over one shoulder so it would not be blown in her face when the breeze picked up again. Her fingered traced the design in the highly decorated pages as she slowly flipped though the book.
To Alessandra's unknowing the little child that had helped her had folowed her to the door of the book store; he didn't dare set foot outside but instead picked up a stick that laid near the door and proceeded to poke Rin's face with it. As soon as Rin would wake up the little child would slam the door and run to the dirty window where the figure of the child could be made out. The child staring at the two Sabertooth mages as the child waited to see what Rin would do. The scene that would play out behind Alessandra didn't seem to faze her at all as she continued to look at the overly decorated book. Her ears listened for the sound or Rin's voice as she slowly began to close the book, the gold on the pages shining light brightly into the dark leaved above her.
Rin had fallen fast asleep without meaning to. His head rolled to the side as his breathing became deep and steady. There would be no telling how long he could remain like this, under the warmth of the sun and the light caress of the wind. His concerns of any potential attack all but forgotten with Alessandra tucked safely inside the bookstore. The teenager was so deep in sleep that he didn't even stir at the sound of his friend exiting the bookstore. He was blissfully unaware of the world. Until a sharp jab to his face brought his consciousness to the fore. A sudden slamming noise caused Rin to startle awake. He grasped his sword and jumped to his feet. In his sleep addled mind, he didn't recognize where he was or remember the reason why he was there. So when he turned to find a strange face staring out of a window at him, it sent him scrambling backwards in a very uncharacteristic panic.
The Devil Slayer backpedaled fiercely while trying to draw his sword. However, the combined effort distracted him and he failed to see Alessandra sitting in the grass of the hill. He backed straight into her. His momentum was too great and his center of gravity to high, causing him to topple backwards, over Ale which knocked both of them down the hill. The world spun round and round and round until he finally came to rest at the bottom. His eyes swirled with dizziness as he just lay there, sword a couple of inches away. "What...a ride." He quipped once he finally caught his breath. A shadow cast over him, pulling his gaze to the top of the hill where someone now stood. Rin's hand twitched in a subconscious manner as if recognizing that it was empty. It took him a second to process that the person staring down at them was just a child. Possibly the one Ale had been speaking with. His suspicions were confirmed when the child called down to them in the dialect unfamiliar to Rin.

Alessandra had no sooner closed her book and was about to put in into her library when she felt something hit her back and before she had time to react she was tumbling, fast, down the hill; green and white flashed before her before she felt her body come to a stop. Her eyes spinning as she laid in the position she landed in, Alessandra didn't want to move in slight fear that she would just fall back down. Closing her eyes tight she tried her best to regain her scenes, she felt like she was still tumbling and she didn't want to move because of that; on top of that her head rested on something kind of soft and warm which only added to the comfort of the position she was in. "Mmm....." was the only noise she had made so far as she move slightly getting ready to pick herself up "What happened....?" she spoke softly as she began to feel the dizziness begin to subside. Alessandra pushed herself up with the arm tucked under her while unknowingly placing a hand on Rin's chest as to steady herself, picking her head up from the comfortable place it laid she slowly opened her eyes letting the blur from a combination of being dizzy and shutting them tightly dissipate and the details of a face began to emerge. Blinking a few times it took a moment to realize she was face to face with Rin, her brown eyes locking with his for a moment as the scene slowly sunk in. Alessandra's face quickly turned a deep red as she pushed herself up and away from the Devil Slayer "Ah! S-Sorry!" she stammered as she stumbled to her feet only to trip over them as she tried to step back; landing on her rump.
Twigs and leaves decorated her long blonde hair that hung slightly in her face, Alessandra quickly fidgeted with her hair, moving it back in place and removing some of the twigs and leaves that had some how attached to her hair. "I-uh.... S-sorry..." she managed to say as she turned away from Rin, hiding her red face as she looked around; acting as if she was looking for her book. Admits the tumbling and the confusion the new book Alessandra had gotten ended up, some how, next to Rin's sword. The book laid there open, the gold on the pages shining brightly in the sun, the gimps of something shining and bright drew the attention of some locals who only shook their heads at the two mages hidden in the long grass. The boy at the top of the hill called down one more time to the two in the ancient language, laughing slightly at the two of them. "Ah... W-We're okay!" Alessandra called back to the boy at the top on the hill. There was a clear path were the two had tumbled down from, they had missed every gravestone on their way down; the tall grass that once hid the path to the store was now marked by flattened grass and skid marks. Pushing grass around Alessandra continued to act like she was looking for her book, trying to distract herself from what had happened; but the detailed image of Rin's was still imprinted in her memory and would pop right back into her head as she tried to shove it off, her face now faded to a light shade of pink. She had never noticed how blue Rin's eyes were before, she had never gotten close enough to take a good look at the details of his face. Normally she jst talked and laughed with him, doing whatever the were doing and eating together; there was personal distance between them just out of respect for the other person but the tumble they both took brought them physically closer than they had ever been. "How did we end up down here, Rin?" Alessandra asked in a soft but sweet tone, she didn't know exactly how they ended up down the hill "Did we get pushed or something?" she only looked over her shoulder slightly to see what Rin was doing as she asked her question, the pink resting on her cheeks slowly fading away. As Alessandra looked at Rin a large smile grew on her face as she began to laugh "Your hair is such a mess!" she teased though her hair still wasn't much better, a few twigs stuck out of her hair with leafs on them making her look like some kinda of human deer.
Is that who I saw in the window? Rin's brows furrowed in deep thought. He couldn't see the child's face well enough from his position at the bottom of the hill. If it was, he was going to have a talk with the kid about startling a sleeping mage. Maybe I should make an ice monster and stick it in the window... The Devil Slayer was busily contemplating the ways in which he could prove a point without traumatizing the child. His thoughts were going about a mile a minute. His brain trying to sort through and process everything. So when a faint hum touched his ears, followed by distinct voice mere inches from his face, Rin found himself frozen on the spot. A mixture of embarrassment, confusion, shock and uncertainty evident on his features.
"A-Ale..." He stuttered when their eyes locked onto one another. A golden light glistened in her brown eyes, enriching their soft nature. Blinking owlishly, his mouth went inexplicably dry at the sight. The teenager hadn't ever really noticed such things before. "Hmm?" Rin pushed himself up onto his elbows. "Oh..." His cheeks flushed red upon realizing her question. "I--uh--" He shut his eyes, laughing in a sheepish manner. How can I tell her that I got spooked by a kid? There would be no way he could live something like that down. "Ya see--" He hesitated upon hearing the warm laughter emanating from the girl. Opening his eyes, he quirked his head to the side with a quizzical expression. "Huh? My hair?" Rin reached up with both hands and felt around his head. Sticks and leaves and grass stuck out at odd angles, giving his already messy hair an even wilder appearance. Although, looking at Ale, he was in good company.
"At least mine has a reason to be messy now." The Devil Slayer laughed good-naturedly as he pointed to Alessandra's hair. "You look like a forest nymph!" His smile broadened and his eyes gleamed with a warmth and softness rarely seen. "It looks good on you."

Alessandra laughed right along with Rin as he made an excuse on why his hair could be messy and how she looked, a small light blush of embarrassment crossed her cheeks as she heard Rin's compliment "Thanks, you're to sweet," she chuckled before continuing "maybe I should keep the look then." She joked as a wide grin still played on her face. Turning fully back to Rin she leaned in and picked a few large twigs out of his hair. "It doesn't really matter how we got down here, as long as you're not hurt." Alessandra had been looking at the twigs she plucked from Rin's hair but as she spoke her eyes moved down to look into his, the grin turned to a large warm and caring smile as she spoke to him, her voice mellifluous as her eyes reflected her care for her friend. As the two stayed in the tall grass and elderly man had hobbled his way over to the edge and began to yell at the two young mages about respecting the graves, telling the two to show more respect for the dead and those who have loved ones there. At this Alessandra only rolled her eyes as the old man's voice trailed off as he hurried away from the old forgotten grave sight, as if the area was well maintained anyways but either way it was probably time for the mages to start moving again. Alessandra wasn't much of a fan of staying still, she was to curious about life and what it had to offer. Since the two were lower on the ground there wasn't as much of a breeze as before and the heat of the sun now fully beat down on both Rin and Alessandra, giving off more warmth than before.
After only a split moment Alessandra slowly stood, attempting to remove the sticks in her hair as she offered a hand to Rin "Let's go" a bring smile beaming on her face as she spoke, "I got what I want. Let's go do something you want to do." Alessandra still worried that she would bore Rin with her book hunts and random explorations of old ruins or hidden book stores. Not everyone is a fan of things like that and she knew it. And, though currently she wasn't thinking about it, in the back of her mind still sat the self-suggested idea that Rin was only hanging around because of Damien and that she wasn't strong enough to handle herself. The laughter she shared with him had temporarily dampened her thoughts, keeping the joy between them the most current thing on her mind. "Now.... Where is my book..... I must have lost it in the tumble." Alessandra spoke mostly to herself as she placed her right index finger on her chin as she slowly looked around, the shining gold on the pages quickly drawing her attention to it. The book laying open next to Rin's sword, the irony of it not noticed by Alessandra as she moved to get her book.
Rin's laughter slowly faded into an self-conscious grin. His blue eyes searched for something to stare at, anything aside from Alessandra. Why am I acting so weird all of a sudden? He wondered. This is Ale, nothing new about her... The Devil Slayer couldn't resist peeking back at his friend. The light beaming through her hair giving it a soft amber glow. Hm? His eyes never moved from her. His muscles locked into place as his brain focused solely on her. Rin was so entranced in the moment that he barely acknowledged the elderly man's rant about their disrespecting the graves.
It wasn't until her hand stretched towards him that Rin finally came to his senses again. "Oh...yeah, sure." He took the offered hand and got to his feet. He might have let her hand go a little too quickly, but not from disliking the help. More so that he didn't want Ale to feel his quickened heartbeat. He didn't want her to think something was wrong. Because there wasn't. At least, he didn't think there was. With a lop-sided smile, Rin joined Ale near their respective belongings, bending over to pick up his sword from the ground. "How about some lunch?" The teenager remarked in his casual way, taking the lead and moving towards the town.
The two didn't make it very far, however, before a commotion stirred. A middle-aged man came racing past them. "Did you hear?!" The stranger shouted excitedly as he drew even with a larger group of people. "Yeah, we just heard!""Trouble in Magnolia." Rin's ears perked at the name of the city and he found himself stopping in the middle of the road. His head tilted closer to the group. "Do they know what happened?""Not much yet. Only that there was a fight between some mages.""Probably those Fairies again. They're a rowdy bunch.""Not...like this," came the out of breath response from the man who had caught Rin's attention initially. It seemed like he had run a long ways to relay what news he had heard. "That's...why I...came." He drew in a deep breath to steady himself before proceeding.
Straightening to his full height, the runner stared at the group with wide, shocked eyes. "It was two dark mages. They attacked the train station. Something about wanting revenge. But that's not all." He paused for dramatic effect. Rin waited with bated breath. "They took one of the Fairies hostage!" Gasps resounded from the crowd. "A water user from what I heard. Didn't go down easily." That was all Rin needed to hear. In a flash of movement, he was racing away, his hands clenched into fists as everything else fell to the wayside. D*** it!

✯ Ice-Make: Diamond Cage Range: 0-45 feet (breaks apart upon reaching maximum) Duration: 1-4 posts (depends on strength of magic, distance, etc.) Description: Rin creates a diamond-esque sphere of unmeltable ice on the target’s body. Such a spell is capable of destroying the body of the person trapped inside, along with the ice itself. The down side to this technique is that the sphere loses its hardness the farther away it gets from Rin until it eventually shatters, freeing the trapped individual. Rank: A-rank

✯ Blue Shower Range: 1000 feet Duration: 1 post Description: Rin summons forth his Magic Seal, from which a number of fierce, blue flames in the form of elongated circles are fired at the enemy in a scattered formation, targeting a mildly wide area. Rank: A
✯ Fire Bullet Range: 0-400 feet Duration: 1 post Description: Rin releases a large, bullet-like stream of fire towards his target. The spell is powerful enough to send the opponent flying several thousand feet. Rank: A
✯ Red Carpet Range: 0-300 feet Duration: 5 posts unless dispelled, 3 post cool-down Description: A spell in which the flames take on unique properties, becoming solid, flexible and seemingly harmless. The flames are then turned into a small blaze which grows larger and larger and begins to spiral around Rin, who proceeds to stand on the flames' tip. The flames, now much larger, act as a mean of transportation, allowing him to fly by standing on them. At such a point, the fire takes on the shape of a fierce, flexible "column", or- as befitting the spell's name- an unconventional red carpet. Rin typically employs this spell to dodge enemy attacks and to remain out of the enemy's range. Rank: B
✯ Prominence Whip Range: 10-800 feet Duration: 1 post Description: With an arched movement of his arm, Rin summons forth a number of fiery, curved purple beams which are fired towards the target. Each beam tracks the target down and moves to strike them separately from the others. On contact, the beams generate a large explosion, similar in appearance to blue fireworks. Rank: B

✯ Red Skull Range: 0-250 feet Duration: 1 post Description: Rin extends his hands upwards, conjuring a ball of fire which he then lobs at his opponent. The sphere is adorned by a figure similar to a stylized, cartoonish skull that possesses a somewhat material form.
