I welcome you to a new region of Pokémon called Astronima. It is believe by the people of Astronima that it was created by the great Arces who brought peace between the inhabitants that lived among this land and taught them ways to share it together. But when a great evil corrupted this once peaceful land by a mysterious figure it pit Pokémon versus human beings until Arceus himself picked twelve righteous warriors and paired them with Pokémon that best suited their attitude. Together these twelve Pokémon and twelve humans defeated the evil and brought balance once again.

the Rise and Fall of the Zodiac

The evil that dared to corrupt Astronima was caused by a woman who controlled all dark, ghost, and dragon Pokémon. Her name was Hecate an alluring but wicked woman. Chaos brought Hecate pleasure and to spread chaos throughout all of Astronima brought Hecate power. She reined her power in the very location where Pluto City shall be built someday, in the volcanic mountains. Arceus had become frighten of what would become of the region if Hecate continues to spread chaos and as a legendary Pokémon who had created Astronima he could not directly assist the land. Instead Arceus chose twelve humans and twelve Pokémon born of pure hearts to defend Astronima form Hecate’s rule. The twelve were ranked by Arceus after the twelve great constellations of the sky and paired each human with a pokemon that best suited their title they were; Aries with Ampharos, Taurus with Tauros, Gemini with Mawile, Cancer with Kinglur, Leo with Pyroar, Virgo with Roselia, Libra with Bisharp, Scorpio with Drapion, Sagittarius with Rapidash, Capricorn with Go-goat, Aquarius with Pelipper, and Pisces with Gyarados. Out of the twelve Aries reigned as their leader and lead his comrades to victory by putting an end to Hecate’s tyranny but not by killing her but sealing her away inside the volcano which she loved so much.

The people of Astronima celebrated the warrior’s victory and wished for the Zodiacs to rule over them as their patrons but Aries declined and told the people, “Arces did not place us here to rule but protect.” And protect they did. Instead of becoming kings or queens the Zodiac warriors continued to serve and protect Astronima as the region’s first and only Elite Twelve trainers. Over the years the Zodiacs helped the people develop the land into a more civilized region with Jupiter and Pluto as Astronima’s first two cities. Then came the birth of villages such as Mars, Venus, Mercury, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune they would someday develop into cities of their own… But why did the Zodiacs betray Astronima if they were meant to be the land as heroes? What could have possibly led them astray from their path of good to one of evil?

It is said that because Hecate wasn’t destroyed but sealed away that she is still able to command the darkness to do her bidding. She is strongest when night comes so that she may spread nightmares throughout the region. Rumors say that because the Zodiac Warriors locked her away Hecate sought vengeance and vengeance she had by corrupting the sacred warriors through their dreams twisting their desires into lust of power. All fell right into her plan but three; Aries, Libra, and Sagittarius. Then by the time the new day arrived the three who had resisted the temptation of power awoken to a true nightmare as their comrades appeared before them illuminated in darkness.

In heart break Aries, Libra, and Sagittarius with their Pokémon fought against the comrades they trusted out of all the humans in Astronima. The first to die was Sagittarius by his beloved sister Gemini then, Libra by her lover Pisces, and lastly Aries murdered by his brother Leo. And since it was Leo who killed Aries the position of leadership had gone to Leo but Leo did not just wanted to become leader of the Zodiacs but king of Astronima and king he became. The Zodiacs then rein their power over Astronima in the capital city Jupiter for one hundred years from generation to generation… But their power was not meant to last forever.

After that one hundredth year did four mysterious trainers appear out of the bloom and over thrown the Zodiac’s out of power. Thus leading the Zodiac’s into hiding and those four trainers became Astronima’s new Elite Trainers.

The Flight of Charlotte Rosaline

Why is Charlotte Rosaline important? I will tell you…

Part 1
Charlotte Rosaline is the only daughter of Jane and Carlisle Rosaline an ex Zodiac member who married a very rich man who owned his own piece of land on the country side of Uranus City. It is because of her mother’s past that Charlotte and her big brother Raymond have lived a protected life but oblivious to the dangers that would follow. The Rosaline children were home schooled until their preteen years then sent off to an academy to further their education for a prosperous future but most of all to protect their lives away from the dangers that would spill out of their mother’s secretive past.

Jane Rosaline once served the Zodiac order as their warrior the Libra. She was an orphan raised by one of Zodiac’s favored families the Wyverns as their warden and manipulated into a soldier of the Zodiac’s desire. Jane served Team Zodiac for twenty-years until she met Carlisle Rosaline at a party that was hosted by the Zodiac boss Draco Tatsuo. The Rosaline’s have been honorable friends with the Tatsuo’s for centuries but everything changed under that one starry night at the couple’s meeting but Carlisle wasn’t the only person to persuade Jane away from Team Zodiac but her own comrades. Her friends reveal to Jane days after the party that Draco Tatsuo and the rest of the elders in Team Zodiac and the family who raised her had been lying to Jane about her past that Jane’s true importance for being placed under the Wyverns. Jane was the last descendent of one of Astronima’s first Elite Four and the very first Zodiac leader Aries. Rightfully, Team Zodiac belongs to Jane and she would have been arranged to marry a Tatsuo if only Draco had a son but he didn’t. Draco had a daughter so instead, of marrying a Tatsuo she was arranged to marry the son of Team Zodiac’s second favored family, Henry Valentine. But of course, that marriage did not even come to pass as Jane followed her adored comrades out and away from the hands of Team Zodiac than rather serve the Zodiac’s to conquer all of Astronima.

If one wishes to leave Team Zodiac than exile shall come to you… but death or life?

The first time Charlotte Rosaline is confronted by Team Zodiac was when they invaded the academy she was attending in Jupiter City. She was only thirteen and barely a first year while her big brother Raymond was sixteen and a junior at the academy. Team Zodiac had come for the capture of Charlotte Rosaline as revenge against her mother for betraying their order but why not also take Raymond? Why? They had no need for the son of a Rosaline since they wanted the Rosaline daughter so that she may marry the prized student of Draco Tatsuo, Aden Pierce the new Leo. Even if Team Zodiac would have come into contact with Raymond their orders would have been to kill him if he did not cooperate to their will.

Draco Tatsuo the boss of Team Zodiac would have married Charlotte to his grandson but the boy died from an illness at the age of ten. Thus, ending the Tatsuo bloodline since Draco’s daughter Rushi the previous Leo had died at childbirth from a broken heart… As for the Wyvern and Valentine family, they also were born with no boys to carry the family name. Would you call that punishment?

As for the rest of the children born from Jane’s comrades they would all eventually become targets for Team Zodiac to capture once their parents were out of the way. Or when Charlotte’s fate was sealed whichever path had come first Team Zodiac would be pleased. So, when Team Zodiac succeeded in capturing Charlotte from her school they whisked her away in a helicopter while the whole academy was occupied by their team’s trainers. But as Charlotte’s capturers flew over Chiron Forest of the Amazonite Land a fourteen year old boy riding a Charizard crashed into the helicopter and took Charlotte away from the wicked Team Zodiac. Or did he?

The boy was none other than Aden Pierce disguising himself as a normal trainer who was sent to save Charlotte when his real reason for saving Charlotte was to get close to her. Aden’s job was to manipulate Charlotte into either loving or trusting him enough to turn against her own mother and become a loyal Zodiac member. In the beginning Charlotte was skeptical of Aden despite him saving her and claiming that he was the brother of one of her school friends Adalynn Pierce. “The only reason I am hardly mentioned is because I am my father’s son of another woman so I live with my mother,” Aden had told Charlotte. This piece of information he gave Charlotte was only half a lie. He is Adalynn Pierce’s brother but not born from another woman but from the same mother.

The Pierce family was also friends to the Rosaline’s and the children’s father is Alexander Pierce another ex Zodiac warrior the previous Sagittarius. Alexander was one of the comrades that left with Jane. Alexander had married a woman eight years younger than him through an arrange marriage and it had almost been a perfect match if Alexander hadn’t slightly been in love with Jane but Abigail fell for Alexander hard and did whatever she could to win his heart. He was a loyal husband who never cheated physically but mentally in some sense and when Alexander had eventually fallen in love with his own wife at the birth of their first born child it had been too late. Abigail’s heart was filled with betrayal and jealousy. She had felt ashamed for leaving Team Zodiac with her husband and his comrades that she could no longer call her friends. So after, the birth of their second child Adalynn, Abigail left in the middle of the night taking their son Aden with her crawling back to Team Zodiac and begging for their forgiveness. She pleaded to Draco, “They force me to leave with them sire. As a respected wife of the Pierce family I did as expected and followed my husband until I realize I could not live such sinful lies. Please forgive me. I offer my son in payment for my husband’s disappointment.”

For two whole months Charlotte and Aden traveled together and bonded as they made their way back to Jupiter City by foot or so Charlotte thought that was their destination. Aden assured Charlotte that he knew Astronima’s lands best and lead her into the direction of Venus City and from there travel to Celestial City. Aden’s agenda had nearly succeeded if it weren’t for the meeting of four trainers Eve Scarlet, Kazuma Fury, Lunette Avalon, and Jack. Aden and Charlotte met the four when Aden had secretly operated an attack on himself and Charlotte. Aden was supposed to save Charlotte from their encounter with bandit trainers when instead the four trainers saved them instead. From then on Aden knew these four would be an obstacle in his way… Also, while Charlotte had traveled with Aden the girl was unaware of the troubles befalling Astronima and all thanks to Aden distracting her mind.

Eve, Jack, Lunette, and Kazuma were trainers journeying Astronima. Their goal was the same as almost any trainer to defeat gym leaders and hopefully catch more Pokémon on the way. But as the four had traveled together they soon learned the troubles developing in Astronima which put their goals on hold when the four of them were attacked by Team Zodiac or bandits on the road. Then they stumbled upon Charlotte and Aden when they were being attacked by some bandits. So they did what they thought was right and saved the pair.

Eventually Aden’s true nature was revealed to Charlotte and the others after reaching Venus when they were suddenly ambush by Venus’s Mayor Francesca Wyvern. With the feeling of betrayal running through Charlotte’s heart and mind she fought against Team Zodiac with her new friends. Although that Eve, Lunette, and Jack carried strong Pokémon their Pokémon’s strength was nothing compared to the Francesca Wyvern and her soldiers of Zodiacs. Soon enough Francesca was joined by her darling daughter the Gemini, Titania Wyvern alongside her own betroth Sebastian Dominic the Scorpio. Their gang up made battling harder as they tried separating Charlotte from her friends. They would have almost lost to Team Zodiac if help hadn’t come to their aid. Arriving to save the day was Jane and her son Raymond Rosaline, and their friends Iris and Ava Fairchild.

The Fairchild’s were another family friend to the Rosaline’s. Ava was once called the Virgo and she was and still is Jane’s closest female friend. As for Ava’s daughter Iris she was Raymond’s girlfriend at the time and they were the perfect battling couple at the time. But their union would never come to pass as their parents would have hoped.

Part 2
Over the next three years Uranus and Saturn City had been destroyed while Mars, Mercury, Venus, and other villages were overruled by Team Zodiac to stay alive. The only two cities to fight against Team Zodiac’s tyranny was the capital Jupiter and Pluto. As for Charlotte, she was returned to Jupiter to continue her education at a remolded academy while her brother Raymond, Iris Fairchild, Lunette Avalon, Eve Scarlet, and Jack had joined the Corona Rebels with Jane Rosaline and Alexander Pierce. (Raymond and Iris had graduated from the academy by this time…)

Kazuma Fury was made to stay in Jupiter City from traveling back to Mercury City where his home and family were. So, during his time spent in Jupiter he had bonded with Charlotte and her friend Adalynn Pierce. He even attended the school with them as he thought there was nothing else better to do unless danger came falling at their city entrance. But, it does happen…

Again would Team Zodiac try another attack on Jupiter City fighting against the trainers who wish to leave Jupiter uncontrolled by any ruling team but as much as the city fought against the villainous Team Zodiac together this time they were suddenly overpowered by Team Zodiac. As the attack raged on all the helpless children and people were gathered at Jupiter’s Academy which was heavily guarded now than before. This time Charlotte was fully prepare for an attack but was told by Ava Fairchild to stay hidden in a separate room than the other children and assign Kazuma Fury to protect her. Charlotte was furious because this was as much as her fight as anyone else’s. Adalynn Pierce was even ordered to be kept safe and out of the battle on her father’s orders which of course made Adalynn just as frustrated as Charlotte felt. They weren’t helpless but parents would do anything to protect their children.

But Jupiter’s defenses would not sustain as the enemy eventually broke through the city but when Team Zodiac could not make it to the academy they were stumbled and needed a strategy. So, Team Zodiac pulled out their trump card by the usage of a mega stone (which was new to Astronima at the time) and Aden Pierce used it on his Charizard the only Pokémon he could ever bond with out of his party. Aden and his beast lead the attack onto the academy breaking down through the forces and took what they came for Charlotte and as a bonus point Aden snatched up his sister Adalynn too. Then away they flew to meet the boss of the Zodiacs in Mercury City.

With the capture of Charlotte and Adalynn their friends and families took their revenge out on the Zodiacs who stayed in Jupiter to continue the takeover but the good prevail. Once Jupiter was secure Ava Fairchild left her husband and son Ethan and Felix in Jupiter to watch over the city while she joined the Corona Rebels to Mercury.

As for our captured young ladies Charlotte and Adalynn were brought to Mercury City as prizes by Aden to his boss and mentor Draco Tatsuo. The Zodiacs host their base of commands in the home of Mercury’s mayor who turned out to be a Zodiac ally and it was in his very home where Charlotte and Adalynn would be held captive until the wedding preparations for Aden and Charlotte were completed. In three days the ceremony would be held in the garden of the mayor’s home that looked over the ocean. During those three days Aden Pierce tried to recapture Charlotte’s affections but whenever she would reject his advances it frustrated him. She was probably the only young lady to tell him “no.” “My flame for you has not died,” he told her once. “Who else could possibly have your heart but me?” he asked her. Then Aden and his mother Abigail Pierce would tag team to reconcile with Adalynn for all those years not being together. As much Adalynn yearned for the love of a mother and brother she never got to know but her gut told Adalynn to be cautious. Her mother’s affections were too cold and fake while Aden’s affections were too forceful and selfish because Aden acted the same with Charlotte but a little differently. The only people the girls could trust were themselves and each other. They could not battle because their Pokémon were taken from them and whenever they would try fighting physically they were over powered by brute strength.

On the day of the wedding the Corona Rebels made their attack on the Zodiacs in Mercury City. So when word reached the mayor’s home the ceremony was almost put on hold but Draco Tatsuo insisted that the ceremony must go on but quickly before the rebel’s reached them. But once the news of the attack was overheard by Charlotte and Adalynn the girl’s did their best to try and stall the ceremony from happening until their friends arrived. Aden was by than fed up with Charlotte’s resistance that he nearly dragged her down the aisle himself with the help of his Charizard with her body covered in a few bruises while his mother took care of his sister Adalynn by keeping her mouth shut. But before Aden and Charlotte could make their vows the ceremony was interrupted right on cue by the girl’s real family and friends. The real battle had begun.

The battle was long and brutal. Luckily the girl’s were able to retrieve their Pokémon (thanks to their friend’s assistance) and take out their own revenge against Team Zodiac. Together Adalynn and Charlotte tag teamed against Aden for the trouble he has cause them while their comrades took care of the rest. Alexander versus his own wife Abigail, Ava versus Francesca Wyvern, Jane versus Draco Tatsuo and so on… The battle bled out into a new day with Team Zodiac retreating with their tails between their legs. From then on Team Zodiac had gone into hiding away and Astronima was in peace…

The New Zodiac Order

Team Zodiac lives a strict but magnificent life of golden splendor. After all, Arceus himself granted them as Astronima’s champions centuries ago when they were pure hearted and still pure they will tell you today. In fact Team Zodiac are the opposite of pure they are a corrupted order lead by leaders who wish to manipulate every new generation of Zodiac’s into helping them with their cause which is to rule all of Astronima believing it is their given right. By any means necessary Team Zodiac shall rule Astronima.

Now, Team Zodiac is ruled by a new leader President Aden Pierce who inherited the position from his previous mentor Draco Tatsuo when the man had no other heir to hand the position over to. Throughout his life Aden Pierce has been groomed under the mentorship of Zodiac’s ex-president since the death of Draco Tatsuo’s daughter from childbirth and the death of his grandson from an illness. The man had not just become Aden’s mentor but like a father replacing the absence of Aden’s real father Alexander Pierce. Although, even if Aden Pierce was hand selected to inherit Draco Tatsuo’s position the boy still had to prove his worthiness of such a position and he did by being ranked as the Leo warrior which gave Aden leadership over Team Zodiac’s most praised and honor Pokémon battlers. By the time Aden Pierce became Team Zodiac’s new president he was left with the duty of rebuilding Team Zodiac’s image while harboring revenge against the heroes who defeated the order years ago…

As Team Zodiac’s new president Aden Pierce had establish an academy to better prepare the order’s children for their future positions. He believes perhaps by establishing this academy it will finally give Team Zodiac an advantage against those who dare to stand in their way. Especially, against the heroes…

Zodiac Rules:
1 A Zodiac member cannot simply leave the order out of their own free will unless given permission. Punishment will be either torture or death.
2 Zodiac’s marry for life unless one spouse dies. Also, arrange marriages are encourage but are hardly used anymore. Just make sure your spouse is worthy of your status.
3 All children must be educated for a prosperous future. Children from the ages 3 to 12 must be homeschooled as parent sees fit and shall be visited by occasional representative from the academy to check on progress. Children from the ages 13 to 17 will attend the Zodiac academy.
