Background History:
•Born in Magnolia and the youngest of three brothers, Mark was only unique in that he was capable of using magic. This led to some slight jealousy from his brothers, but his mother soon straightened that out.
His mother was a nurse and occasionally had a hard time making ends meet, so he ran a small paper route in the early mornings to earn money for books and his school lunch. This work ethic and his grandfather's words of wisdom kept his spirits high and became his motto: "There isn't a thing in this world you can't do if you put your mind and heart into it!"
At 10, he became fascinated with lightning magic after being struck by a stray bolt during a storm and not being affected. What made it? Why did he not get hurt? Why him in the first place? These questions drove his curiosity, but sadly magic was forbidden at school.
It was around a year later that he met his best friend Ryan Grayson and his sister Serah. After Mark helped Ryan beat some of his usual bullies, they became best of friends. After Ryan had left the school to join Blue Pegasus, Mark was adamant that they stay friends and gave him his number.
It wasn't until he had heard about Serah's disappearance that he really became unshakable in studying magic. While still forbidden to learn about it in school, he would study magic at home in his spare time until he graduated. He had to help Ryan find her. After all, he would do the same for him.
But first he would have to join Blue Pegasus...
