"You are not doing it right! You have been slack far too long, Snow, you should have learnt this when you were a foal!" Jack lightly growled his daughter who was trying to create a blizzard, she could do small flurries but blizzards? Nope, his daughter was pampered too much, his fault, but she still could of picked a thing or two from him.

"I am trying!" She called as she tried once again to conjure up the snow and ice that ran through her body to create as blizzard and then aimed it straight at the tree, using all her might to make a full covering of it, closing her eyes in the process, not wanting to see her failure yet again.

"That is it!" Jack grinned, looking toward his daughter "well...sort of, it needs a lot of work but you are getting there!" He said as he gestured toward the tree.

Snow opened her eyes and looked at the tree, it was hit and it was hit hard but it also wasn't completely covered so he could see what her father meant but she knew that she also had work to do "it isn't like yours though!" She called to her father.

Jack flew over to his daughter and nuzzled her "I have been in the business far longer then you have" he said as he nuzzled his daughter "but it is fine, we are getting there, I won't retire until I know you know everything there is to creating winter so you can put your application in for when I retire because I know there are a few others who are wanting their hooves, claws, talons and hands on this job and so they are all counting down the days till I finally retire but I am not going to do that until I know that my daughter is the best candidate that they will WANT to pick you."

Snow smiled at her father, he may not have been the best man when he went and killed the majority of Gargoyles but at the same time he had also paid for his crimes and whilst her mother may detest him she didn't have to, she loved her father and he was the best father she could have ever hopped for but at the same time she didn't want to have a falling out with her mother who wanted none of her children near him so it was in secret that she trained with him. "Thank you daddy" she said as she nuzzled him back "thank you for taking time off from work to teach me" she said, knowing she should have had these lessons as a foal but her sister was a bad influence on her and she enjoyed that a little too much so she always dodged her lessons even though she shouldn't have "now, want me to try again?" She asked as he nodded.

"Don't worry about it, they owed me some time off and there was nothing that was making me stay around, I had done my work, so a weeks break was more then enough to give me time to train you and believe me, before this week is up you and I will have to have a battle at who can control their snow and ice powers the most, a shopping spree is the prize" he said as he grinned at his daughter, knowing how much she couldn't say no to that and how much it will make her work that bit harder. "And yes, just do what you did before, it will soon come naturally to you" he said as he kissed her cheek and moved out of the way as she took to the ground.

"Hang on daddy, I just want to get a drink" she said as she trotted over to the lake, she had been practicing for the past three hours and five hours before lunch, she needed to grab some hydration before she carried on or else she was going to tire herself out.

Snow softly yawned and then took a drink from the lake, a rather long drink at that, she was ready to just call it a day she was so tired but she looked up from the lake and back to her father and sighed, she did want his job, ever since she was a foal she marveled at what her father did and she coverted his job so much but she also knew she had been slack as she still hadn't learnt what she should of when she was a child. "What am I going to do...?" She said softly to herself, wondering if Harmonia had any potions or spells she could use as maybe a guide to help her train better...

"Snow!!" A voice called out, running straight toward her sister as fast as she could go, ignoring the male who seemed to be making his way toward her "Snow, I have amazing news!" She said as she stopped beside her.

As her thoughts vanished thanks to her sister she smiled a little tiredly at her and nuzzled her "hello, Crys, I am sorry I am not a little more energectic but father has been pushing me and I have wanted to be pushed so I am tired" she said as her sister looked up and smiled at her father.

"Hi daddy!" She called as she looked back at her sister "that's fine, I just wanted to tell you before anyone else, I have a new job in Solstice and it is my dream job! Mom said it was alright to do it and so I have her blessing and so I have a shop I am looking a today, i can put my talent to good use, I can create a living for myself in the Magical Realm by creating ice sculptures for those who want them, I will have my own business!" She said excitedly as she jumped around her sister.

"That is fantastic news!" She said, tired as she was she couldn't be happier for her sister even though she couldn't join in on the same excitement level she was showing "would you like me to come with you to see this shop?" She asked, knowing the answer but thought she would ask anyway.

"Please! If Daddy will allow it" she said as she looked up at her father, hoping he was in a good mood.

"I do need a break so go on home and get ready and I will see to it that he lets me go" she said as she smiled as her sister nodded and ran off towards home.

As her sister was leaving she noticed the male and smiled at him, nodding hello before going back to get a drink once more, still feeling a little parched and as she was just finishing her father landed down beside her.

"What was it that your sister wanted?" He asked curiously.

"Mothe has said she is allowed to get a shop in the Magical Realm for her job and wants me to go with her as a second opinion, please can I go Daddy? I need a break and I nearly have blizzards down to a fine art".

"How about this, you give me a perfect Blizzard, one that covers that tree over there" he said pointing to a tree not much more then about five feet away and hanging over the lake "and I will let you go" he said as his daughter sighed.

"But Daddy..." she moaned but knew it would be no good even starting an argument with him and so she walked over to the tree, took a deep breath and closed her eyes, wishing and believing in herself that this time she was going to do it. 'I can do this!' Sh sid to herself as she gathered up everything she could inside of her and let it grow and come to a bursting point before she used all her strength and aimed it at the tree, hoping she had done her father proud.

"You can open your eyes" Jack said in a monotone, not letting his daughter know if she had passed the test or not.

Snow opened her eyes and looked at her handy work and grinned OMG! I DID IT!" She squealed as she saw she hadn't just turned the tree completely white but also froze a little of the lake, freezing a pony inside, realizing what she had done she ran over and stomped on the ice from the shore, pleased it was just a thin layer "I am so sorry! I didn't know it would be that strong".

The pony, whst a little annoyed, smiled and shook her head "it's fine, thank you for getting me out though" she said as she swam away.

"You may go with your sister" Jack said as she ran overy and nuzzle him "thank you Daddy!" She said as she started to walk back home.

"And I'm proud if you sweetheart, it will get easier" he called as he opened a portal and left through it, closing it behind him

Snow was on a high and as she walked past the male she smiled once again "good afternoon" she said cheerfully as she carried on her way, she would celebrate by buying an ice cream from her sisters shop after she had seen Crystals shop.
