The tears were falling heavier than the rain around her. Lightning flashed and she could see his lifeless face. This wasn't supposed to be the way it ended. He wasn't meant to die. He was her world and now he was gone. They were to be married after this. Finally have the chance to be happy. Away from all the fighting. Away from chaos. Lightning flashed again as she laid her head down on his chest, hoping to feel it rise. That was all she wanted. To feel her head lifted up from him drawing breath. But it never came. Zejx Frostrider was dead. Though he was the victor in the fight against Chaos, it proved too much in the end. He may have saved everyone and made a peaceful world, it was not for her. Without him, to her, the battle was lost.

Her brother approached and puts a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sorry sis. He's gone. We need to leave before the barrier fails and we are stuck here."

She slowly brought her head up. "No, I can't just leave him."

"Then bring his body with. We can bury him when we get back. But we have to go now."

"I don't want to bury him. I want him back."

Her brother let out a sigh. "I don't think that is an option this time." He kneeled down next to her. "I am sorry. If there was a way, I would seek it but I don't know any way to revive the dead."

"Don't say that. Please, don't say that." She laid her head down on Zejx's chest.

"Listen to me. We have to go now. We don't have time for this. If the barrier fails while we are still here, then we will be stuck here forever."

She raised her head. Time. That is what she needed. Time. She looked to her brother. "But now I have all the time I need. I am the goddess of time now. I could just..."

"What are you..." His eyes widen. "No, you mustn't mess with..."

Before he could finish his sentence, she closed her eyes and focused. I can just go back. I can change this. I will change this.

She could no longer feel the rain. Had it stopped? She could now feel the warmth of sunlight and a light breeze. The sight of a grassy field awaited her as she opened her eyes. She slowly stood up. Had she done it?

"Mama?"

She turned around to see a young girl staring at her.

"Mama? Is that you?"

Her eyes went wide. She knew this girl. It was her. This was the field outside her home. This was where she would run off to after her mom had... She had went too far back. She closed her eyes and focus, but this time when she opened her eyes the scenery didn't change. She tried again. Nothing. Again. Nope. She lost her power. Of course. Zack was still alive at this time. He was still the god of time. She had failed. How was she supposed to help Zejx now?

"Mama, you are back! They all said you were dead but I knew they were wrong."

She looked over to her younger self. Wait. This was it. This was her way to change it all. "Yeah my dear. I am alive."

The little girl ran up and hugged her tight.

She embraced the girl with a smile. "Don't worry. Everything will be okay. Now why don't we go find your brother? My little Tyera."
