The grand cathedral stands tall on the west side of the capital. The inside is beautifully constructed and is one of the wonders of the country. Not only is this a place of worship, but also a school for training those who wish to become priests and other holy servents. Also, recently those who wish to prove themselves for recruitment to the Angel Guardians.

Jurido stood in awe after entering the church. He had always dreamed of the day he would walk into this place for the first time and request to join the guardians. That was all he thought about as a child. Taking in it's wonders before proving his abilities in combat. It was to be the greatest day of his life. Unfortunately fate had decided on another route for his joining. One that was not a day fulled with pride and good memories. Instead of cheers and celebration, his recruitment was after death and sadness. Fate was a funny one. Not only was his recruitment painful, but his first trip to the church was equal in it's arrangement as well. Everything he had hoped to be joyous had turned out quite the opposite.
He shook his head for a moment, returning to the moment, and let out a sigh. "I would have given anything for this place to be the way it's supposed to." Looking the place over, he replied to Akane. "Yeah. Anything that might have info on necromancy would be good. We need to find out if there is some reason someone would do something like what happened today. There has to be an objective here and not just the pleasure of a mad man."

Akane was a little in awe as well at the craftsmanship of the church. She couldn't imagine how much work assembling everything here was, and she understood even more so Jurido's comment about shininess in the mortal world. It was almost as if the cathedral was designed to challenge the splendor instead of honoring the essence of the afterlife these people strove for. "Well, consider this, for me it seems hard to believe a greater populous exists, but lets just say for grins that one did, maybe this place was chosen for its geographical convenience paired with it's population density, or something historical or metaphorical about Peron that would make it the target..." She is almost thinking out loud at this point instead of actually addressing Jurido, then she looks to him "I'll take the north side if you'll take the south?"

Jurido nodded his reply before making his way his assigned area. "Just give a shout if you find anything." He made his way across the area and entered into the first room in his path. It appeared to be a small meeting room with same tables and chairs. Looking around he spotted some books on a table. He decided it was a good of place to start as any. He walked over and started looking over the books.

Akane nods and heads her way through the church. She looked around and found the room with the most reading materials and her eyes turn red. Speed reading was not only a skill of hers but something she enjoyed, though in this case these religious texts were a far cry from her usual reading material.
In less than an hour the young woman had managed to speed though every letter in the room but was only left feeling like a terrible person who would pay for her earthly transgressions when she died.

Jurido dropped the final book down on the desk with a sigh. Nothing. This room was a bust. He turned and made his way out. He looked around the main hall for a bit, trying to see if something caught his eye. Maybe something out of place. Places like these can sometimes have a hidden area or room. That would be where he would store something with info on forbidden magic.

Rinoa continued her search through another two rooms before she had finally pieced together as strategy of her own. There was mention of several different members of the clergy through out the texts she'd browsed and she had a little bit of information on each. She looked about to see if these individuals had personal spaces actually within the church itself, be it a residence, office, or just a room for meditation. Perhaps someone was personally in charge of protecting some of the information of worth. If this was in fact the case the next question would be who? As she continues her search she finds what she was looking for and judging by the albeit modest decor, it was clear she was in the living quarters of the church. "Well here goes nothing..."

After searching around some more, Jurido takes a seat. Looking around the area, he lets out a sigh. "Where is Zejx or Marin when I need them? They are much better at finding things than I am." He looks to the ground in defeat. "Thankfully they aren't around to hear that. I would never hear the end of it. Ever." He shook his head before standing up, returning to his search. If they didn't find anything soon, he was going to give up.
