The Great Library stands of the east side of the capital. It is almost as tall as the cathedral. And just as beautiful. The first floor has a huge reception area along with a good amount of shelves packed full of books. The second floor is completely full of shelves with books. There are all types of subjects here. Magics, history, even a few books on fighting. If you wish to gain knowledge of a subject, this library will surely have plenty of resources for you.

Raidyn and Ontaros enter the Library and as he does Raidyn takes a second to look around. There is nobody in the entire place. No corpses no sound just nothing. He then looks up at the many bookshelves and smiles. At least this is safe for now.
Well this isn't creepy at all now is it. He says sarcastically as he heads to the Librarian's office. I am going to get the keys. Luckily enough they are right where they are suppose to be on their hook in the office. Got them, come on the Restricted section is this way.
Raidyn heads over to a large mural. On the mural is a sunny garden on the other side of a hedge with a gate on it from the perspective of the viewer looking into the garden from outside the gate. After fiddling with the keys he picks one with a flower on the end and puts it into the lock on the gate. When he turns the key the mural disappears and a staircase going down appears. Raidyn quickly puts the keys away and waits for Ontaros before heading down.

Ontaros keeps pace with Raidyn as he moves through the library and watches him curiously as he approached the wall. His head rocked slightly to one side however as his fellow practitioner looked the wall over. It wasn't until the key hole was found and used that the mage understood, even whistling in appreciation of the spell used to protect the restricted area. The gears in his head were already turning. To go to this length just to hide what was beyond, there had to be quite the reservoir of knowledge. "Well this looks quite promising indeed!" he grins to Raidyn as he continues to follow his lead.

Raidyn walks down the hallway following the only path that is there.
Yeah! I have never been in this area of the library. The only reason I know how to get in here is because I wondered where the librarian always vanished to. So I kept a close eye on him and saw him go in here. After that I tried to get in using my own power but the only way to get in here is with the key. Without the key the hallway just doesn't really exist. Even the wall there is an outside wall, I've checked, I think it is a spatial distorting thing going on and the Restricted section is in another area completely. Possibly its own personal space. I have read some about that kind of thing. The only reason I know the right key is that its weave and the painting's weave fit together perfectly. That usually doesn't happen naturally as far as I have observed and read.
As they head down the stairs the light from the doorway recedes into darkness. Raidyn pulls out his staff and lights the end of it to provide light for them to see by as they continue.
To be honest I am not sure if there is anything else down here or not.

Ontaros laughs "Well if nothing else Raidyn, this will be an interesting en devour to say the least, I'm already taking notes about this secret space..." The mage quietly examines the area while that finish their decent into forbidden territory. When they get to the bottom of the steps he grins ear to ear. "Now then, which which threads to pull first?"
