Edit: My story about that is a little sad, but I may share it in a bit.

Michael jackson means good music to me. biggrin Something to sing along to. And someone who donates a lot to children's hospitals and charities. biggrin

MJ means to me...

He is a great performer. No one can dance and sing like him. He also is such a genorous guy. He has helped so many people. I wish that more famous/ rich/ hell, everyone was a little more like Michael. I admire him becuase he helps so many kids all over the world. Someday, I hope to help a lot of people, too. He truely is an inspiration.

Michael Jackson to me....hmm. Well i've known the doc for quite a long time. Bout three years i'd say. I know her story. And after we had kinda stop talking mine became something like that. Michael to me is more then words can say. His music and dancing is amazing alone. But the person behind it all. Well I was very very depresed. Had tried suicide. I did cut (sadly)and, all that stuff. I also got into some very dark things. All of witch I choose not to go into because of the fact I dunno who most of you are. Anyway, I loved Michael to death. One night after a rough time I called NeverLand crying they couldn't reach to where Mike was. So the lady had assured me I was going to be ok and, Michael would say somethign like "Never give up. Keep the Faith. Keep strong." . She had talked to me untill I stoped crying. Then told me to call the next afternoon. So I did this time I had goten to speak to Michael. Well he spoke to me. Anyway, he said " Child you are very young and, have about 50 or 60 years to live. Live each day to the fullest. Never give into satan. I have to go but, you are a fan, a friend , and I love you. Keep the faith. Keep praying." Maybe it wasn't EXZACTLY like that but thats how it was. After that when I hear bad about Mike or harsh words I can never let it go. Also I reasured my life in God's hands and, lets just say i'm not cutting anymore. lol God has changed me. Oh, and Mikey....love ya girl!!!!!

WELL.

I've been listening to his music all my life. When we were old enough to, my brother and I would put him on, and he'd dance, while I sang.
Then we started renting his videos. Every week. I don't know why my mom didn't just buy them; she must have spent a hundred dollars renting it so much.
The Man in the Mirror video always maed me cry. Even when I was like, five. I'd just start crying.

Then we went to disneyland, and they had that 3-D movie thing. It was Captain Eo. They had it for at least five years. It starred Michael Jackson, and it was just an awesome movie. We went to it like, ten times that day, and the same each of the other times we went to Disneyland. It was my favourite part of Disneyland.

When the first thing came out about him molesting kids, my parents totally shielded it from us. I didn't even know anything about it, until a few years ago, when I first saw Saturday Night Live. It totally killed me. I knew it wasn't true, and couldn't believe anyone would do anything so mean to such a great person.

So, I grew up idolizing him, and still do. I want to meet him, just so I can thank him.

I used to be in love with him when I was about 5-8. I would go down the road and get out HIStory on film and Dangerous: The Short Films every week or so, and I always remember being SO jealous of Naomi Campbell and Janet because they were in the videos with him crying . I then kind of maybe just a little bit forgot about Michael, a you do when you have those stupid groups like Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys. I spent the next 6 years living a Michael-less life, and I was always sad and depressed, we moved house about 5 times and I was never anywhere long enough to make friends. So, last year, I visited one of my old friends, and her sister had the Number Ones CD. I listened to it, mainly Beat It because I've always loved Beat It, and I realised that I loved Michael more than I had thought. I then bought my own Number Ones and gave up the radio. I would sit in my room for hours just listening to Number Ones, picking up all the adlibs and hiccups and sound effects, and I was truely truely happy with myself. I now have all the albums, including the Ultimate Collection, and I believe that Michael has made me happier, friendlier, and more confident, and certainly more tolerant. If I can handle people constantly cracking jokes about little boys and Michael, I can handle anything. 3nodding

Spo yeah, Michael is really an inspiration to me, any other celebrity in his shoes would keel over and die of exhaustion from trying to defend themselves, but Michael just keeps going and he does waht he needs to do. Not only is he constantly dodging media attacks, but he's raising three children the best he can and with all teh stuff going on with him that's not a very easy thing to do.
