The Wild Hunt belongs to Princess Asali of the Gred Empire's Painted Wolves. As a member of the Imperial Princess Winterstar's Court, her duty is to provide aid to all she can, have adventures, and be the best representative she can manage to be through this airship. This ship can appear in any of the global locations. Presently: docked at the shipyards of the Imperial Capital City.

Asali smiles as they arrive at the dock that is written on the directions she had been given by the princess' steward. "Nice. She has good taste, or at least the person who made the purchase in her name does," she mutters softly. A quick glance over her shoulder at the large panda bear man and she can sense his lack of ease. "We don't have to board her right now, if you don't want. It's just that the party was breaking up about that point and I was excited about seeing my ship for the first time." Asali reaches up and pulls a couple of pins out of her hair and allows it to fall down into twin tails on either side of her head. The party was nice, but it was far too fancy for her tastes. The energetic young painted wolf was far more interested in having fun and advancing her political career. Just being invited and showing up was enough for her to look good in the eyes of her grandmother and her emperor. Not to mention, being elevated to member of an imperial's court means that even the Sukhan, ruler over the five empires, would eventually take notice of her and her position could be more than assured - it would be possible to advance even higher than queen one day, or at least be able to garner some rather respectable and decent favors. However, that was thinking many moves ahead. The other issue at hand and of interest to her was finding a crew to man her ship and finding others to help her in her quest. It was all well and good to speak of lofty goals like helping those in need, but it was important to define what kind of needs were to be met, how they could meet them, and even the little matter of funding such a venture. While many of the royals, nobles, and imperials often give donations of various sorts, it never seemed to be enough. Some ruled over territories and tried every form of economic and social effort known, but even that was not enough. It dawns on her that having the airship alone will not be enough, either. The little matter of just what could an airship do to help hangs in the air like a black cloud of frustration. If she fails to make this work out, it will go over like a lead balloon - not the light weight made of lead foil balloon, but a solid lead balloon. In other words, very badly. Catastrophically bad. "Oh, crap," she says. "I am going to have to figure out how to make this work and involve the airship at some point. Otherwise, my request is wasted and I am going to be a laughing stock at best." A softy sigh and a shrug. "What do you think of us wandering out to the villages and seeing who needs emergency supplies? It might be a good place to start, I guess. That is, unless you can think of a better idea. I am just kind of stabbing in the dark here."Again, I am sorry for taking so long to post for you. I have some serious stuff going on at home. I'll tell you about it elsewhere, though.

☽۰·.·۰๑۞๑۰·.·۰☾ Duncan got off his bike when they got to the location of the airship. He felt to scared to actually look at the thing, so instead put on his normal pants. When Asali finished muttering and looked back at him quickly, what she would see is his furless bare chest as he shrugged on his black sleeveless jacket. Sure he has a shirt in his rucksack, but isn't bothering to dig around for the cloth that is probably dirty anyways. Why is the ship a her? The Wild Hunt. It doesn't even have a girls name. "Huh? Waisted?" The thirty one year old juren bearkin finally looked at the ship. "Even if you don't use it to help people directly, having quick access to travel will help you move to places faster. Faster movement the sooner you can help those in need. Less chance you will be in a case of 'If only I was a bit sooner' then you would if you had to wait for ships to sail the seas like everyone else." Duncan gave a shrug, not seeing why someone would be a laughing stock for having private transportation as elegant as this piece of work... even if he is not comfortable with trying it out. "Villages that need emergency supplies for what?" He tilted his head. "Was there a natural disaster that I haven't heard about? Just wandering place to place with no knowledge of those that might actually need help sounds like we won't be doing much good for anyone. We should start with checking with news, and maybe see if there is anyone that came to the big city looking for help. Maybe a young man that come looking for medicine or doctor for the old and young of their village that couldn't take the cold this year's winter." That is actually how Duncan lost his grandma a couple of decades ago. She got sick, but being up in the mountains they couldn't get help up there in time to save her. If someone that had an airship had come to help, instead of wasting time climbing the mountain trails, they could've been lifted over head and came down. Grandma could of had a few more years if that had been the case. "That sound like a better idea to you?"it's fine. I understand.

Asali blushes when she notices his bare chest. [Heh, bare bear!] She quickly recovers and smiles when he makes his suggestions. He was right; It would be far less efficient to just travel around randomly rather than do some basic research for any areas that could actually benefit them better. "Great idea! Let's do that. Do you have any idea where in this town we can get a hold of some decent news?" She runs her hand along the still pristine hull, stained with a glossy dark paint to block out the moisture of the clouds and weather. This is a fine ship. The idea of using her makes her heart quicken and butterflies quiver and flutter about in her stomach. The power of this beast could be so very useful. It doesn't appear to have any weapons on board, so that is something she will have to consider - if only for a protective purpose. Asali hopes that it would never need to come down to her actually needing to use them. Most pirates operate at sea and on the shores. Viking style raids seldom come very far in land. But, sky pirates are currently almost unheard of - though not impossible. Her rather formidable looking companion looks to be the sort who could simply b***h slap the crud out of anybody who bothered him, she notes. Then again, he could be more of a big cuddly teddy bear for all she knows. It is hard to tell with bearkin by simply looking at them. Despite this thought process currently buzzing around in her head, she finds that some how still attractive either way. He seems rather grounded in some common sense and a casual attitude. That is a very nice contrast to her energetic and somewhat impulsive nature, which is why she feels that he would make for a good friend for her. Possibly more, if the aloof bear ever picked up any of her hints. That said, she was not exactly being as obvious as she would like to be, but for some reason was not yet able to voice it. Perhaps it was anxiousness. Perhaps it was a lack of really knowing what she wants out of a relationship. Or, possibly it is the fact that she is still enjoying the single life and partying whenever possible. "Duncan, maybe while we are hunting for some news and ordering supplies, we can go grab a bite to eat down in the city?"

☽۰·.·۰๑۞๑۰·.·۰☾ "Hm?" Duncan thought for a moment on the different places they could ask around. While he thinks he uses a tiny bit of his Mana to shift pebbles around his feet. He tends to think better when he is doing something awesome and magical and that has to do with the ground. The ground is very important to him. When he was little he loved playing in the dirt. Asali mentioning ordering supplies and getting something to eat, he got an idea. "Great idea. Old women tend to chat about all sorts of things in marketplaces. The ones that run the stalls are bound to hear something useful. Someone that is looking for emergency supplies to take home might have said something to them as well. Since we need supplies, that would be a good place to start. If we go to a tavern to eat, we can hear the local gossip for information in case the market doesn't pan out." He nodded to himself liking this plan.

Asali grins. The princess was right to suggest that they work together. "Sometimes I work at this one tavern for travel money and real world experience. Maybe we can head there. It isn't far from the market square," she suggests. "We should probably also brainstorm up ways to finance our adventure." This is getting exciting and her rapidly wagging tail certainly is giving away her feelings, despite her body language otherwise remaining calm and dignified.

☽۰·.·۰๑۞๑۰·.·۰☾ "I've got a bit of money saved up myself... actually I have too much on me for comfort really. I’m Gonna need to stop by Blueberry Hill pretty soon." He himself never actually had a real job. His mom gave him an allowance, and he saved it all. Once he got to The Grand Imperial City, he made a few investments and that is where nearly all of his coins came from. While his investments made him the cha ching, the Juren was off learning cool ground magic stuff at the school. Duncan does notice the wagging tail, but thinks Asali is just really excited about the future aspects of going out on an adventure. He's excited too, but his tail doesn't move to feelings, no Juren tails do. "Alright, I got a plan. First we take a look around the ship. See what it got. How many accommodations, cargo space, the works. Then we can start to fill it up with supplies from the market and a crew... I'm sure we could find some willing bodies at the tavern if we can't get enough knowledgeable men here in the shipyard. It can't be too big of a crew. We would run out of money faster than we can make it. Stop by the treasury to deposit valuables we don't want to lose on the trip. The whole time keeping ears open for word of those in need. Sounds simple enough to me. Can you handle it princess?" Duncan smirked at her. He was challenging her to get her motivated more, not to insult her.

Asali grins broadly and places her hand on his upper arm. "Call me, Asali. All of my friends do. Besides, if we are to be working with each other, I'd really prefer that we not be overly formal. Titles aside, Prince Duncan, I'd really prefer to leave the formality aside for official business." She had inserted his own title in that last sentence to make a point. Call her princess, she'll reciprocate while stating her actual preferences. "Let's see. The boarding ramp is over ... here." She walks over towards the place where the ramp belongs. "Ahoy! Dock master! I need to get on my ship!" she calls out to the control station's open window. A grizzled old melda of indeterminate race peers out of the window and gives her a thumbs up gesture. "Nani?" she mutters in confusion towards his apparent lack of response. After a moment a youngster with a clip board and probably no more than fifteen years on him comes bounding out. He is dressed smartly in a uniform of the dock crew. "Ahoy! Um ... er .. what name is the boat under?" She looks at him with some amusement as his creaky voice betrays him to be younger than she had expected. He was clearly the old man's latest apprentice. "The ship we're in front of is the Wild Hunt and I am Asali Chausiku." The youngster flips through the pages on the clip board and after some fumbling and wrong guesses, he finally finds her name. "Ah, yes. Please sign here. Here. And finally here. Here's your keys to the cabins, storage rooms, and the engine." Asali looks at the over sized set of keys and quietly says to Duncan, "I think that while I am at it, I am going to get a master set of locks that use a common key. Either that or I need to separate and label them all. Ugh." Shrugging it off as the kid bounds back over to the control room she looks over at the still not yet extended boarding ramp. "Eh, small matter. I think that once we get through these minor hurdles we'll finally get things rolling more smoothly. By the way, I don't think I want to do most of my traveling by air ship. I think I'd rather do ground travel except where an airship makes more sense. Would that be alright with you?" At that moment the dock crew finally starts up the steam motor for the boarding ramp and it chugs and whirs as it swings into place, adjusted by the crews little by little until it gingerly was set to rest where it finally came to a stop, allowing them to board. "Ah! Here we go!"

☽۰·.·۰๑۞๑۰·.·۰☾ "Whatever you say princess." If Duncan was actually being formal he would add her name. They way he is says it is the same as you would use as a nickname for a little girl, so the exact opposite of formal. Possibly even a little insulting. All in good fun though. He has a grin as Asali talks to the people that work here. Ha look at the guy. He must be so young... probably 18. Wait no, Jurens are the only ones that age normally. Everyone else goes to fast. He's got to be younger... just a baby really. The rest of the world is so messed up. Holy wow, that is a lot of keys. Duncan chuckled. "Good luck on finding the right ones in the meantime." He stretched his arms above his head as the ramp was being lowered down for them. "I am perfectly alright with not traveling by air. More ground time the better in my book. If danger comes I will be useless in the sky. One the ground... I am the danger."

Asali bounds up the boarding ramp and flits from one thing to another. Her natural energies are no longer being pent up. "I think that the deck looks good. It looks like we could comfortably host a party for twenty people up here." She starts rustling through her keys, causing a jingling and clinking noise akin to tiny bells, and finally finds the one to the door marked wheel room. "Well," she says as she opens the door, "Looks good to me. Not that I am any judge of these things. We definitely need to hire an expert. I have no bloody clue how that works. Or that thing. Or those. The wheel looks simple enough. I bet it isn't, though."

☽۰·.·۰๑۞๑۰·.·۰☾ "Comfortable party of 20, or a rockin' one with 50." Duncan jokingly raises his fists in the air and bobs his head to the jingle of keys as if it was a rock concert. He is just being weird now. once the door is popped open he stops in order to take a peek inside. "Yeah... I don't know a thing about ships either... bet there is a book out there I could read up on the subject though. Would still need an expert, but having some knowledge on the subject would be nice in case of an emergency of our own."

"Fifty ... hmmm. Maybe if she's docked. I think it might be a safety hazard to have it flying with a fifty person party. Still ..." she remarks with a smirk. She knows that he's probably just kidding. "Maybe we can do some partying when we're not seeking adventure or helping others." Asali reaches into her rucksack and starts to rustle through it. "I think that I have saved up a good amount of money, so I'll go ahead and put up a notice of employment opportunities and then order some basic supplies." She drops her coin bag back into the backpack and rustles through her supplies. "Hm, too much partying lately. I guess I better buy some basic supplies. Anyway, let's go grab a bite to eat, get to know each other, and see what gossip is going on. Let's try that bar we talked about. Okay? Unless you want to go to that spring party at the edge of town. People gossip at all kinds of events and we might get some awesome freebies there." Sorry for the delay. I'm finally starting to feel better.

☽۰·.·۰๑۞๑۰·.·۰☾ A shiver ran up his spin at the thought. "Yeah... air party bad idea." Duncan could practically hear the screams of a party goer as they fall over the railing of the ship, plummeting to the ground far below. That's a buzz kill. "Uh, just got done with the winter celebration. I swear the imperial like to through get togethers as much as the Atlanteans. Let's stick to the plan and get bar food and gossip." A guy can only go to so many social events in a year and he wants to save a few in case Winterstar wants him to go, or if something really awesome comes up. Spring time events are rarely great. It is all flowers, girly colors, and cute frilly things. No thanks.that good to hear
