And there you have it. Our princely cutie has spoken. I shall carry out all my duties faithfully :’)
This tournament is basically a wacky spin-off of our beloved game, Lake Kindred. In this Battle Royale, kins can attack any participating kin, at any time during the battle period. They do not have to “wait for their turn”. But be careful! Kins may not always attack their intended target, or attack at all. More info on that in the posts below.
Please note: when kins run out of health points (HP), they do not die; they faint and are then escorted out of the battleground. So do not worry, my fellow kin-lovers, no kins will be killed in this tournament.emotion_c8
To participate, trainers must sign-up during the registration period, which will last one week. The battle period will start almost immediately after the registration period ends. I will post in the thread to declare when the battle period officially begins. The battle period will last until only one kin is left standing, or it will last one week, whichever happens sooner.
Whether you battle or not, feel free to stick around and hang out. Cheering or random chat is welcomed 3nodding The only thing I ask is that, if you are not a participating trainer, please do not roll any dice or generate any random number in your posts (unless you are kullotte). At the end of the battle period, rewards will be granted in the following categories. Some of the categories contain special conditions. If those conditions are not met, then the prizes for those categories will not be granted. In the event of ties in certain categories, the prizes will be split between the winners of those categories, as evenly as possible.
1- CHAMPION SURVIVOR(Last Kin Standing) Description:The only kin with any HP left at the end of the battle period. Condition:Must be the only kin with any HP left at the end of the battle period. Winning trainer must also have posted at least 10 times during the battle period. Prize:[KINDRED] Sweet Bunnykit (Level 1)
2- CHAMPION TANK(Most Remaining HP) Description:Kin with the highest amount of HP left at the end of the battle period. Condition:Only if there is no winner for category 1. Winning trainer must also have posted at least 10 times during the battle period.
EXAMPLE: At the end of the battle period… Trainer A has posted 9 times, and its kin has 10HP left. Trainer B has posted 12 times, and its kin has 7HP left. Trainer C has posted 15 times, and its kin has 5HP left. Winner: Trainer B and its kin

3- CHAMPION ASSASSIN(Most Fatal Hits) Description:Kin that dealt the highest number of fatal (or final) hits that caused the other kins to “faint”. No condition Prize:Large Kindred Damage Bundle (x100)
4- CHAMPION HEALER(Most HP Healed) Description:Kin that heals the highest accumulated amount of HP during the battle period. Includes healing self and others, but not status healing. No condition Prize:[KINDRED] Mega Heal (x50)
5- CHAMPION DREAMER(Most Creative Posts) Description:Trainer that submitted the most creative posts during the battle period. This will be decided by our panel of judges (Their identities will be revealed later to prevent bribery lol). No condition Prize:Creative Cosplay Bundles (x5) + 5 billion gold

01. Each trainer shall enter the tournament with only one kin partner. You may or may not actually own the kin, but it must be an existing kin on Gaia.
02. All kins shall start with 100HP, regardless of their level/stat. That is the max HP. No amount of healing can cause a kin’s HP to go beyond 100HP.
03. Kins shall not, in this tournament, use their in-game skills, so magic points (MP) are not considered. In fact, no stats are considered. Everything is determined by your roll. So trainers are welcome to enter the tournament with their favorite kin partner.emotion_c8
04. Trainers shall roll one 20-sided die each time they post in the thread during the battle period. Whether they are actively seeking to battle, or just posting (or responding to) random chit-chat, they must roll if it is during the battle period (unless their kin has already fainted). The number that the die lands on will determine the kin’s action. The list of actions will be in the post below.
05. Trainers shall include the amount of remaining HP in their posts during the battle period (unless their kin has already fainted). Please try your best to edit your latest post with the most updated amount of HP. I will also be checking the thread to update the list of survivors. Otherwise, feel free to edit your posts as much as you want, in order to reflect the result of your roll.
06. Trainers may include other things in their posts, such as light roleplay, images, videos, etc. However, images that may stretch the page should be hidden in spoiler tags. Also, please do not post anything that may be against Gaia’s ToS.
07. Trainers may post/roll consecutively, but they do so at their own risk ninja
08. Trainers shall NOT DELETE their posts during the battle period without my permission, or they will be instantly disqualified. They must be willing to accept the good and the bad rolls. Good sportsmanship is a virtue <3
09. I reserve the right to add/modify rules during the tournament as necessary >.<

IMPORTANT NOTES!
Note 1! The first trainer to post after the battle period begins automatically deals 6 points of damage to the ABY’s kin, without having to roll.
AAY = Avatar Above You AAT = not the avatar above you, but the Avatar Above That ABY = Avatar Below You Note 2! Non-trainer posts do not count. Note 3! Posts by trainers with fainted kins do not count. For example:
Trainer A posts Trainer A posts again Trainer B posts Spectator posts Trainer C posts
➤ The AAY of Trainer A would be itself. ➤ The AAY of Trainer C would be Trainer B, not the spectator. ➤ The AAT of Trainer C would be Trainer A. ➤ The ABY of Trainer B would be Trainer C.
1- Your kin is feeling depressed for no apparent reason, which causes its defense to lower. All attacks received in the next 2 hours will deal 1.5 times the damage that they normally would.
2- Your kin finds a Cloak of Invisibility, and becomes immune to all attacks for the next 3 hours.
3- Your kin finds a bottle of beer, and drinks it until it is drunk and has a one-night stand with the AAY’s kin. Feeling sorry the next morning, your kin promises to take one hit for the AAY’s kin whenever they wish. (AAY in this particular case cannot be yourself; AAY would be the last trainer to post before you started posting consecutively.)
4- Your kin falls in love with the AAY’s kin and marries them. These 2 kins are now spiritually bound together. Whatever happens to one kin, also happens to the other one (damage, healing, whatever). Until one of them faints, or rolls a divorce. (AAY in this particular case cannot be yourself; AAY would be the last trainer to post before you started posting consecutively.)
5- Your kin has not been fed for a while and is feeling very low on energy. For its next 3 rolls, if it lands on a number that deals damage, the attack will deal half the damage that it normally would. (Not applicable on Poison)
6- Your kin eats some wild berries and becomes poisoned. Your kin loses 5HP every 12 hours, until it finds an Antidote or a halo.
7- Your kin deals 10 points of damage to the AAT’s kin.
8- Your kin deals 10 points of damage to the AAY’s kin.
9- Your kin finds a Small Heal and heals itself for 25HP.
10- Your kin finds a Small Heal and heals the AAY’s kin for 25HP.
11- Your kin finds a Small Heal and heals the ABY’s kin for 25HP.
12- Your kin deals 26 points of damage to the AAY’s kin.
13- Your kin deals 26 points of damage to the AAT’s kin.
14- Your kin finds an Antidote and heals its own Poison status. Antidote causes no effect if kin was not poisoned.
15- Your kin has not slept well in a while and is terribly confused. For its next 3 rolls, if it lands on a number that deals damage, the damage will be dealt to itself only, instead of the regular target (not both itself and the regular target).
16- Your kin finds a lawyer and files for divorce. It is no longer tied to its previous kin partner. If your kin has multiple spouses, you can only divorce one of them, of your choosing. The lawyer does nothing if your kin was not married.
17- Your kin is enraged and goes on a rampage, dealing 10 points of damage to each of the kins that are above you, but only to those on the same page. Does not include itself.
18- Your kin finds a halo and heals itself from one status effect (Poison or Confusion, nothing else). If your kin is under both status effects, you may choose which effect to heal from.
19- Your kin finds a Mega Heal and heals the AAT’s kin to 100HP.
20- Your kin finds a Mega Heal and heals itself to 100HP.

IMPORTANT NOTICES All times in PST.

• Remember that everything that happens to a marriage partner, also happens to your kin, with a few exceptions. If a marriage partner is attacked, healed, poisoned, confused, depressed, not fed, or cured, it happens to your kin too. The exceptions are:
- If marriage partner finds a Cloak of Invisibility (cannot be shared) - If marriage partner has a one-night stand - If marriage partner marries another kin - If marriage partner divorces another kin
• If something happens to a kin, who is married to your kin’s marriage partner (so not directly your partner, but your partner’s partner), then that happens to your kin too, by proxy (with the same exceptions as above).
• Remember to use your one-night stands! If a kin had a one-night stand with your kin, then you can request that they come take a hit for your kin anytime! If they were married to your kin, they wouldn’t take “double damage” through marriage, because your kin didn’t take any damage.
• If your kin is poisoned, confused, depressed, or not fed, and you roll it again, then the timer for that ailment resets. For example, if your kin was depressed at 5pm, and you roll for depression again at 6pm, then the depression ends at 8pm instead of 7pm.
• Healed HP are accumulated based on how many HP has been healed as a result of your roll. For example, if your roll heals your kin and other marriage partners, then all the HP healed counts towards your total. If the roll allows for healing 25HP, but your target has 90HP already, then the HP healed is 10HP, not 25HP.

• Items that your kin finds in the forest cannot be kept for later usage. They apply immediately, or they're simply useless. They cannot be kept to be used later. • "Status effects" that can be cured by a halo include only poison and confusion, nothing else.
