• Personality: Redder is quick-tempered and impulsive. He is insecure about his height and bickers openly when things don't go as he'd planned or when people make fun of him. Because of his impulsive nature, Redder strikes ahead without thinking, throwing himself into trouble without a second thought regardless of others' warnings. Family:
■ Melchsee: Redder's dragon foster mother who is feared as the Fire Dragon Queen. She is very prideful of her title and shows disdain for those who disrespect her especially humans unfamiliar with her. However, she shows a deep compassionate side for her foster son.
■ Fairy Tail: It is his mage guild. He values every member that belong to that guild, be it someone he likes or dislikes. Redder considers them as family more than just nakama and is willing to go to great lengths to protect them. Fairy Tail was an excuse for him to put his past behind him and have a positive outlook on life.
Background History:
Redder was born as an orphan. He later met Melchesee, a Dragonness who chose to not kill him. Instead, she acted as his parent figure. Melchesse taught him discipline, but however, that fell on deaf ears sometimes. She also taught him how to read and write, something that he also lacked as an orphan. The last of her teachings was Fire Dragon Slayer Magic, a type of Dragon Slayer Magic. It went perfectly in sync with Redder's brutish personality.
After gathering food, Redder left to return to Melchesee to start dinner. On his trip back home, he sensed something terribly amiss and broke into a sprint. Melchsee struggled in a battle against strong mages. Redder tried to save her, but was rendered useless. She died that day, and her blood filled Redder's injuries. The majority of his injuries healed with time, but except for a permanent red scar. To this day, that scar continues to serve as a reminder of his tragic past.
