Just checking in. I'm often doing a lot of other things these days, but every once and awhile I get a heavy case of reminiscing about years gone by. So I come back here and laugh at old posts. Sometimes I cringe, too. I often wonder if I should get back into the Battledome, but I dunno. It might be like visiting your old high school in your thirties. Maybe you see a teacher you got on with, but all the friends you knew are long gone, moved on with their lives and so have you. That's life, though. Ugh. I'm getting all feelzy. Sometimes I still have character ideas that I wish I had thought of during this guild's heyday. Anyone else do that? Am I just weird? I often still think about you guys. Wonder where you went. Some of you I'm friends with on Facebook or Tumblr and I had a falling out with one person here and it still bugs me to this day. Bleh. I'm gonna cringe at this later too, probably. Welp, I hope you all are doing well. I love y'all.

Yeah... I miss the days of old. Things were simpler then... Though days of new here are looking bright, in spite of the obstacles. I know you have skype, but do you have discord? Maybe we can get the group on there and start a group chat there? https://discordapp.com/ I have a group there, but I have to give the link in real time, due to it changing frequently; just how discord works. XD I may post a secondary idea if I obtain it.

I'll never forget the Battledome, and I'll never forget any of you. I still remember the fights we've had fondly, from the first cringey three liners we made seven years ago to the essays of violence we evolved into and everything in between. I still think of all of you, my friends and my foes, with equal fondness towards all of you, because you all made the Battledome what it was together, and ultimately, it was such a big part of my life in its heyday, that by extension you all had a hand in the sort of person I've grown to.
Maybe some of our lines are cliche or insufferable in retrospect, but that I was there to be a part of it with friends like all of you I couldn't be more grateful for, and there isn't a moment in retrospection of the Battledome I wouldn't like to go back to with everyone again.
You aren't alone in reminiscing. I still think of all the story arcs our characters could have had together. Sometimes I wish I could find even just a few of you and a few spare moments a day to start up some RPGs again. I still look through pages and pages of old battles and squabbles, like you. Even if it seems like I've disappeared, I still make my pilgrimage back every now and again, and I feel as though I'm not the only one.

Anyone know how to make a forum with the dice function? I've been meaning to obtain one for the gaming group (ArcaDEli). I'd want the 'dome to be a side thread in that forum... and recently, I've come up with a new OC of sorts for that kind of thing now too... -grumble- Just wish I had the means/time. (Child, house purchase sorta time sponged me @_@ )

oh wow, it finally is gonna die?
nostalgia is like one of the last things before death.
oh well, not like I ever contributed much asides inane posts and senseless circlejerking.
was a pleasant way to spend time, shame the site went to s**t.
I still cant ******** spell for the life of me.

@TJ: I understand. My roomies have two kids. They're a handful even with Snowy and I around to pull them out of their parent's hair.
Interesting little forum. I look forward to seeing it come together! Part of the reason I'm not on Gaia as much is due to how bloated it has become. Apparently 30 mil in Gaia gold makes me a broke a** chump. It's like Germany before WWII.
@Resone: Well, I don't know about the actual Battledome thread. It still keeps going, though not as strongly as it used to. Honestly, I'd say the guild is already dead and this is just us old veterans gathered at a bar remembering the good times.

as many of the old and new players there as possible, although tbh I dont think the location was really an issue, just a lack of content.
there are not as many events as there were 4 or so years ago.
the give away stuff and week of awesome were some of my favorites.
not to mention the front page with the list of cool things that happened, like draws and 100 rolls.

I'm looking as in the future aspect, in the the forum located here. The forum's focus will be the gaming group Arcadeli, but I wanted to add other features, like the battledome for example, into the mix. The battledome in fact, I was going to have a whole subsection for OC submission to those who like to get super detaily *looks in my wife's direction*. Are there any other things besides the 'dome that would be desired? I am in the middle of the move that has been preventing my content production as of late, ergo, more content will be able to be yielded, barring any hardware troubles.
