Ashral sat on the bed, legs hanging over the edge as she stared at the floor, she almost acted in the same way Hexxis did, just sitting there quietly. She looked over to Leukos who was sitting next to the bed, resting his head on the mattress looking like he could fall asleep at any moment. "...It's almost time." she spoke out loud out of nowhere.

Leukos jolted slightly, sitting up suddenly then looked at her with tired eyes. "..uhm.. yeah." he then forced himself to a stand and stretched a bit, yawning.

Ashral sighed lightly, watching him. "...why don't you sleep? You look like hell."

"It's okay.. I'm fine." he shook his head and rubbed his eyes a bit. He hadn't had more than a few minutes of rest here and there since he'd been at SIU. How long had he been there? A few days maybe? He wasn't sure anymore, the days ran together after the second night. It could have already been a week and he probably wouldn't have noticed being locked in with Ashral 24/7. "Who do you think is coming to get us?"

"Tri... he's the only one crazy enough to deal with us..." she paused and looked away. "Hexxis is his daughter after all... so of course they'd send him for this. Despite the fact that I keep trying to kill him."

"You don't.. have to kill him."

"I don't.. but it's more fun to try. Also gives me more energy in the long run, so why wouldn't I?" she spoke in such a way as though her words were commonplace and nothing she said was a bit out of the ordinary or morbid in the least.

"Isn't there some other way for you to gain power?"

"There isn't."

"I'll find a way."

"There really isn't."

---------------------------------------------------

Melody looked at the clock and sighed, it was about time she needed to go to a meeting called by Mara. She wasn't exactly told what about but she hoped it wasn't anything bad. Maybe it was finally some kind of repercussion from being framed in the renegade attack when they used her image to pass out cookies. She had never even cooked anything before! Maybe it was just a check up or maybe just a talk. Maybe Mara wanted to-.. no, unlikely. Though she felt accepted there, it was doubtful Mara would go that far. Reluctantly she pulled on her boots and walked out of her room, heading toward the meeting room as instructed.

Once there, she knocked on the door and opened the door very slowly. "It's me, Melody. I'm coming in now." she announced herself before pushing the door open enough to enter then shut it behind herself and walked forward. It was becoming a habit to announce herself now, especially after the last time, she wanted to make sure they knew she had arrived and was entering the room, gave her peace of mind.
PostPosted: Sat Apr 16, 2016 6:27 pm

A helmeted person gazed quickly into the room before there was a quick knock and a soft snick as someone entered the passkey. Mara in armor, followed by 4 more like her in different colors waited outside as she entered. " Well then" she said, her voice slightly amplified from within the helmet as she scanned the room before resting her gaze on Ashral and Leukos. "This lockup looks as bleak as I last it. Ugh ..." She looked carefully at Leukros before turning her full attention on Ashral."wrists" she motioned, she will lock the chains on the restraints and lead them out toward the room. She focused only on this part of the job while everyone else behind her was nervous under the helmet.

--------
Tri glanced up at the knock, taking a breath to let her know she could come in when she just did. He gave her a slight nod as he closed his eyes again, leaning against his wings and the wall as he sipped a cup of coffee silently. "Mara will be coming back with the other two. Melody, if you want to get anything to eat you can" he said quietly, opening his eyes slowly to look at her carefully."I am Trisuri..or Tri by the way. (Title) between the the human and the other metas. Sorry for not introducing myself earlier"

Ree looked up quietly from where he rested his head on a table near the window. He looked ashen, barely glowing blue eyes peering at her from under a fall of white hair."Hi.." He muttered softly, keeping far from Tri.

Ashral looked to the door as someone entered, armored suits greeted at the door. "Well, color me surprised..." she said unenthusiastically, then snorted a bit in amusement at the sight. Should she have expected anything less? Hardly. Wrists. The command was straight forward, but still she seemed to hesitate a bit, almost reluctant in a way. She then looked to Leukos and sighed with a frown.

Leukos looked back at her through his own fatigue and nodded at Ashral. "Please. They won't hurt you." he insisted, though he didn't know that for sure, he just wanted to tell her anything to keep the tension down. "It's alright, I'll be right beside you the whole way. Okay?"

Ashral narrowed her eyes solemnly then sighed again, looking more annoyed then anything as she lifted up her hands, allowing them to lock the chains and lead her. She walked gracefully down the hall with them, Leukos staying right at her side the whole way. She kept an expressionless look, if it weren't for her eye, it would have been very hard to tell that she wasn't Hexxis after all.

---------------------------------------------------

She straightened up hesitantly as Tri began to speak, nodding to his words. She then shook her head at the offer of food. "It's okay, I'm not hungry. Thank you very much for the offer." she retorted and folded her hands together in front of her as she blinked a bit uneasily. She had expected Mara but was met with the two shadows that she took care of. As he introduced himself, she smiled within her own nervousness, trying to show confidence but at the moment failing. "I.. I know. You're Trisuri Luz. Mara's adopted son. And you're also Ree and Hexxis' dad. I healed you when Mara accidentally shot you..." she answered back, remembering all the information that was spread over the time when the other shadow named Kage.. or was it Kylar, escaped. She looked over to Ree and smiled a bit more self-assured now. "Hello Ree.." Melody then returned her gaze to Tri, still keeping her distance toward the door. "...am... am I in trouble?" she asked suddenly, lowering her head slightly and furrowing her brows in worry. She still didn't know why she was asked to come there and the fact that both Ree and Tri were both there both filled her with anticipation and dread.
PostPosted: Sat Apr 16, 2016 11:50 pm

Tri shook his head. " I am ...and thank you for the help then " he paused for a moment as he considered that. "You're not in trouble. We decided to remedy a problem that might have lead to Kage defecting with Andy." a problem that he should have remedied the day each of them appeared. " A lack of answers due to lack of time. Mara is gather the last few metas so we can finally all talk" he said quietly, glancing toward the door before it was opened. (electric sense)

Mara said nothing as she locked the chains "Lets go" she said turning and leading the way toward the meeting room, the rest of her team forming just behind ashal and Leukos while one of them joined her up front. She dind't want to think about Hexxis..or Ashal in this case. If it wasn't for the lack of eye patch and Leukos's concern and obvious lack of sleep ..Ashal could have easily fooled them into thinking Hexxis was back. She didn't like that...neither the possibility of risking her people...risking Tri...and much less having to trust LUCIEN'S son. But trusting him was the lesser of all the evils currently on her plate and one where people were less likely to get injured...except for himself.

Reaching the room she opened the door and motioned for both kids to go inside, glancing up as the rest of her team move to either side of the door. They wouldn't be added into this meeting ...they will be once she could figure out how to get the meta's working together....and who was leaving due to being unable to handle the realization of what they were actually fighting. It wasn't as if none of them haven't trained with Tri or Ree.. but she was starting to wonder if they weren't all holding back a little to much. The renegades unfortunately made them realize how badly prepared they were to fight them... made fun of them by turning half the base into children as if they weren't a threat. And they weren't not like that ... things had to change and this was a start.

"Melody? ..." she looked faintly relieved under her helmet as she spotted the muse hybrid. Good, she was here before them. "A friend of yours I think" she moved out of the way and motioned to Leukros while keeping an eye on Ashral and attempting not to glare at Tri for being on his feet.

Both Shadows were still recovering which is why she went to get Ashral....and to prevent a third attempt on Tri which might end up with a more fatal outcome.

Ree smiled faintly back at Melody but it faded the moment she looked away, staring blankly as Mara opened the door in full armor. His wings furled in around his shoulders tightly as he saw Hexxis and Leukros but made no effort to comment on them at all.

Melody sighed with relief as Tri told her she wasn't in trouble. Though, the sting of truth that Andy had left with Kage and left her behind alone with SIU only solidified her allegiance to them, as the only place should could consider home. She wondered if by calling her there and giving her answers they might be considering her as officially part of SIU, however that was a stretch to assume especially after all that had happened. Things were unsure. As the door opened and people in armor came into view, she backed up with a twinge of fear. She'd never seen the armor before and didn't know why they were there like that. Looking back at Tri and Ree for context, they didn't seem alarmed so maybe it was an ally. Then the one that stepped forward called her name and she directed her attention to them. "...Mara?.." she asked, recognizing her voice as she began to relax.

A friend of yours I think

Melody blinked curiously as Mara moved and Leukos and Hexxis came into view. Her eyes widening as a certain cambion hybrid was revealed. She immediately without thinking ran to him, tackling him to the floor by accident within her attempt to hug him. "Leukos!!" she exclaimed happily, accompanied by various harp sounds as she hugged him tightly, tears already overwhelming her eyes.

Despite knowing he would eventually see her, he wasn't prepared for it as tears threatened his already stinging eyes. He took a step forward as if to run to her but she was already at him hugging him, the momentum of their embrace throwing him back to the floor lightly. He held her so tightly, afraid to let go of her again in fear she'd be hurt again if he ever let go. "..melody." he whispered as he laid there with a pained smile, his body ached so bad now from lack of sleep, but it was worth it to see that she was okay. There was a short time he had thought she was dead, and here she was, alive and still getting emotional over being away from him. Just like when they were toddlers.

Ashral almost lost her own balance as Leukos fell to the ground next to her, they had been close enough that if he been any closer, Melody would have tackled them both. Ashral watched them, her eyes narrowing in annoyances and a slight twinge of anger. "Leukos." she spoke simply, her voice stern and irritated.

Melody looked up at Hexxis as she called Leukos' name, then frowned. Who was that? Was that Hexxis? She slowly climbed off of Leukos and came to a stand. "..S-sorry Leukos!" she apologized and offered a hand to him.

Ashral glared a bit and moved slightly between them, looking at Melody with cold eyes then turning to Leukos and didn't say anything.

"It's okay, I'm fine." he then came to a stand on his own and sighed. "Don't worry Melody. I'm here now. I found you." he smiled at her softly.

Melody was taken back by Hexxis stepping between them and lowered her hand solemnly. She then began to smile again as Leukos spoke. "Yeah... you found me." she then inhaled sharply with surprise as she remembered that they were here for a meeting, then turned back to Tri and Ree. Hesitated. Then turned to Mara. "What did you want to tell us?"

Mara quietly closed the door during their reunion, smirking faintly under her helmet as she watched Melody tackle Leukos. She felt guilty for not bringing them together sooner, but it has only been a few days and a whole mound of work and papers and talks. Their back-up from the general has been ordered to stay at least for the rest of the month, "helping out" and improving their security holes as best as they could.

She reached for her gun, fingers lightly touching the base as Ashral moved, wedged herself between Melody and Leukos. Possessive...jealous? That was intresting. Was being affected by the power only the start? She was actually starting to consider the cambion a friend..someone who could be taken away from her? She wish she had a better idea since a lot of her planning now was to have those three train together...be a group like Tri and Ree were. The Malice was the only wild card there, would she go stabbity stab obsessive as she does with Tri?

Watching the reactions she relaxed little by little pulling her hand back. "Sit...you two might want some coffee " she said to both Ashral and Leukros and motioned to the table as she went further to the room to poke Ree awake before turning. "I want you to know who everyone else is. And who you can talk to if you have problems. I'm Colonel Mara Gold, currently in charge of SIU..a military research group that is hosting an experimental and voluntar side program with metas. The program's goal is to integrate metas into working with humans and non-humans to stop some of the more over powered threats we have , provide security, and help with emergency situations such as being one of the first responders to heavily hit areas of storms and earthquakes. With a positive show of force for metas we hope that it will allow opening for future talks of gaining more rights for all of you. " she said quietly, it sounded so pretty and easy when she laid it out like that ...if it wasn't all the fighting that has to be done in the background.

"This is Trisuri Luz, he is my adopted son but he will be the leader of this little group and the go between all of you..me and the rest of our agency. That is the reason he wears his collar, as part of a deal, he will be able to talk for all of you and speak and receive top secret information. "She looked at all of them and tried not to sigh, children.....just children. "and he will be training you after our meeting in two weeks. So have fun while you can" she sigh and motioned to Ree. "Ree Luz.. " she tried not to glare as the other archangel watched them tiredly. telling them if they wanted something killed accidently or not that he was the best bet. "He will be showing you the city and the areas around eventually. "Doubting she would be able to keep him near them for long, especially if he had to babysit them. "Someone else will be dealing with your general education. Right.."

She turned to look at Ashral and motioned to her. "Ashral. Hexxis Luz's malice as she currently sleeps. Pain in the back, pain in the a** and general pain all around, but a fighter and seems to have some sense of mess up honor" she said dryly. "Activated at the sight of blood, likes to stab things. You might want to run when she is activated....I think that information is only new for you Melody..and that is without Leukos near by.....who is allowing us this little slice of peace to actually talk to her. " she said glancing between Melody and Leukros and finally Ashral. "My own team will be introduced later, but we are outfitted to fight metas without being able to die so easily. Now its your turn, introduce yourself and anything you might want to add " she motioned to Melody, Leukos and finally added Ashral in the gesture.

Tri nodded faintly as he was introduced, his gazed was fixed on Ashral as he also noted the almost protective...possessive? Stance Ashral took. He only tensed when Mara poked verbally at the Malice, waiting to move between them if needed. Even if she looked like Hexxis...she wasn't and he had to remember that.

Ree pulled his wings in and closed his eyes when Hexxis and the others entered the room. Feeling Mara's armored finger jap into his shoulder he open his eyes again tiredly but looked at anyone else other than guilt eating at the edges of his conscious, his own fault....the malice wouldn't be out if he had only remembered....she wouldn't have been dead and maybe not coming back....

Ashral watched as Leukos came to a stand then slid her eyes across to the other two people in the room. She almost didn't notice what with all the ruckus Melody had caused. Oh, but it was only a matter of time before she noticed Tri. Her eyes fixated on him, a grin begging at the edge of her lips as she stared intently at him.

Leukos nodded at Mara's request to sit. He instinctively reached out to grab Melody's hand then stopped, hesitating slightly as he retracted his hand and grabbed Ashral's hand instead and lead her to the chairs to sit down. He sat and made a cup of coffee for himself, taking a sip his face twisted slightly at the bitterness. He'd never had coffee before but he knew it would help keep him awake. He looked to Ashral to offer her coffee from the same cup but noticed she wasn't paying attention to him and he sighed, pulling back the cup and taking another sip. He focused his tired eyes on Mara as she spoke.

Melody frowned a bit as she noticed Leukos pull away from almost grabbing her hand. They had always held hands when they were younger, maybe out of safety or maybe out of fear of being separated. She sighed and moved to the chairs as well, taking a seat and listening intently on Mara, trying not to focus on Leukos and Ashral for the moment. Besides, the information was important, so of course she would listen very closely.

Ashral never broke her gaze from Tri as she was lead to a chair, sat down, and Mara began to speak. She didn't even seem to be listening as all she did was stare as a smirk was slowly moving in on her face as his gaze never broke from her either. Something then seemed to perk her interest, without looking away, a smile grew fast on her face. "...ree luz..." she repeated softly with amusement. As her name was said, her smile faded, as the list continued on how much of a pain she was, she flickered her eyes to Mara with slight annoyance but returned to staring at Tri almost immediately.

Melody frowned as Mara explained Ashral to mostly her. So she was a Malice and not even actually Hexxis, the girl who had been taken earlier that week. Now it made sense why Leukos looked like he hadn't slept in ages and why he was so close to her. She looked to Leukos who was paying attention to Mara and the cup of coffee in his hands. She then blinked in a bit of surprise as she was asked to introduce herself first. "I.. uhm.. I'm Melody Heart... My item is a Golden Harp.. and.. I can heal..." she spoke a bit nervously as she couldn't think of what exactly to say when put on the spot. "I grew up with Leukos at Spectrum Research... I'm... a muse, I think." she idly placed a hand on her chest where her gem lay just below her clothing. She shifted her eyes a bit then lowered her head slightly in embarrassment that she wasn't better prepared, signaling she was done speaking.

"I'm Leukos.... Broken." he narrowed his eyes at his own last name then sighed, "I'm a hybrid.. angel, demon, cambion. My item is a firecracker. I can make fire, attract spirits...." he paused, looking to Ashral for a moment as he decided whether to say he could calm spirits but decided against it while in front of Ashral herself. "Lately, I've been able to hear people's thoughts sometimes... only what they are currently thinking... And lastly, if necessary... I can go 'boom'." he said the last bit dryly as he stared down at the cup already half-empty.

Ashral began to speak, her eyes never losing focus from their target. "I want to know Tri's item..." she spoke suddenly, a smirk starting in once more.

Leukos blinked and looked to Ashral suddenly, "Ashral.."

"What do you do for fun... Do you spend time with your son..." she continued, directing every question to Tri. "How much time do you spend alone?"

"..Ashral, stop."

She held up her hands as if to mimic moving her hands along his face. leaning forward in her chair a bit, "Maybe when I'm feeling better, we can play together again..." she paused then slid her eyes to Ree and grinned. "We can invite brother to play with us..."

"Ashral." he called to her a little louder, a bit more stern, though there was clearly a bit of panic behind his eyes through a scolding face.

Ashral paused, slowly looking to Leukos in slight annoyance then sighed and brought her hands down, leaning back into the chair again. She then looked to Tri again, keeping her focus there once more. "I am Ashral. That's all you need to know."

"How about you talk about Hexxis..."

"Experiment 001 - Codename Hexxis is just that.. an experiment. Barely a person. However, she is useful time to time. She can curse others, identify and nullify powers of others... and now we can transfer wounds to ourself or others... Tri and Ree are both familiar with both aspects of that ability." she smirked again. "She is also very strong physically and is a hard hitter. That's useful too. Oh right, and her item is my sword. The muramasa blade. Her race? Neither of us know that. Though, I am a shadow. A real one, not a cheap imitation."

Leukos sighed in exasperation, then looked to her, following her vision to Tri. He raised an eyebrow just slightly but then closed his eyes for a brief moment before opening them to rest on Mara.

Melody frowned as Ashral talked, it made her uncomfortable to hear her say all that and seemingly jab at Tri. It was unsettling to say the least but had confidence in Leukos to keep her in check. He always had a good handle on spirits before, but she was sure this was the first time he'd dealt with a malice before. She had been staring at Ashral with worry when something caught her attention. Her markings were very similar to her own as she looked confused and a bit alarmed. No, it must be a coincidence, there were plenty of Metas with markings, though this was the first one that looked so similar to hers. She furrowed her brows in concern as she tried to understand what that could mean.

Tri tensed slightly as he heard Ashral repeat Ree's name, even Mara lifted her head up slightly as she realized her misstep. The only one of the three who didn't look up was Ree himself as he rested his head back in his arms, exhausted from continuous healing in the past few days of both of their wounds.

Mara turned back to listened to Melody, a faceless plate just watching the muse as she clenched her teeth. Stupid, it didn't even pass her mind that Ash didn't know about Ree. Ree didn't look to much like Tri but the eyes, the head feathers, the meta type even the wing coloration was enough of a hint for her to assume that Ash knew they were related somehow. Darn it!

She repressed a sigh as Melody moved on to tell them about her item and powers and almost did literally sigh when she mentioned Spectrum and her species. Stupid Sanctuary using their items as an ice breaker... And Spectrum was another problem all together, one she wasn't going to look forward to if they called asking to have Melody back as Ree hinted they might. Then her species, she almost corrected her....but she was right she was a muse .and only one muse had tried to claim her...but she had no proof!

She jerked her head up out of her thoughts and even Tri looked away from Ash when Leukos introduced himself. Kae....how large was her family tree? A third gen going from the mixture? Which would put him nearly with Ree maybe in terms of age and a fire cracker? Great they were lucky he didn't set everything on fire when they stormed in...was he also able to call up spirits? Ghosts?

"Telepathy..it mi- " Tri started to say and looked sharply toward Ash. He stared silently at her, barely shifting as he hid the discomfort he felt at those words. He did react though, jerking very slightly back as she moved her hands down as if she was trying to touch his face even from across the room, Ree was holding still too but his wings were lowered to half his back and fluffed up.

Mara shifted her hand closer to the handle of her gun as she watched Ash, calculating already how to seperate her from the other two if she fought past Leukos's control. Barely relaxing as she moved on to talk about Hexxis.

Tri caught Leukos questioning glance out of a corner of his eye but kept his gaze locked on Ashral. "Ree and I are both archangel/shadow hybrids. " he explained, leaning back in the chair carefully. Watching for a few more seconds before looking at the other, a flicker of surprise as he looked at Melody then glance quickly back to Hexxis and back. Can't be....Spectrum?

Ree was looking up again and smiled at Hexxis with no hint of humor. "Which makes you my cute little... niece? That I would likely be happy to lose in some forest somewhere " he yawned covering his mouth. Not caring if someone else told Ash he was Tri's son,a son who wasn't even sure who or what his second parent is,...consider they pretty much look to be about the same age ...being Tri's brother would be more logical. He also didn't want Ash's attention ..nor Hexxis...not after what happened. At the same time he didn't want to be another knife that could be used to hurt Tri....it angered him really that he would allow himself to be hurt so by her....it made no sense.

"Fine, a few rules then. Unlike the Sanctuary we don't want you to tell other people your true items or powers..except in this group. We'll talk about items and powers another time when there isn't a stab-happy manipulative little s**t in the room. " she said with a Look toward Ashrel, taking note to add True Bas-Shadow to the Malice's profile later. "Now Leukos you said you wanted to join us, is that still what you want to do? You will be fighting against the Renegades ..you parents... All of your parents " she said with a slight frown, how did she end up with their children? "There is also the possibility you can die. Also running back to them and giving up here will put you in trouble too...we don't accept traitors. Any questions? "

"...I stand corrected..." she said blandly, tilting her head slightly but still staring at Tri with intensity. "...Tri's brother..." she repeated under her breath then shifted her gaze curiously at Ree and her expression softening only slightly.

As Melody was corrected about what information she should have been giving out she frowned. "I'm sorry... I didn't know what to say..." she confessed and lowered her head more, feeling bad that she had started the trend on what information was given. She understood that it might have been okay among them, but was at least relieved she was being told now so she didn't slip up later and reveal too much to someone who wasn't supposed to know.

"So either stay quiet about it.. or make something up if pressured... got it." he spoke with little enthusiasm only due to his obvious lack of energy. He perked up a bit when Mara said his name. She asked him whether he wanted to join and explained what that would entail. He narrowed his eyes in anger as he shifted his eyes to the floor. "I don't care about the renegade... and I don't care about my parent." he emphasized the singularity of the word, stressing that he only had one parent in the renegade. "The only other parent of ours is... " he paused, forcing himself not to look at Melody but focused on Mara. "I already know about that... and I'm sure you know what I'm going to say about that." he spoke with a sense of resentment and spite. He then hesitated when she said they could very well die and he shook his head. "That's fine." he stated simply, not caring to elaborate on his answer. Then the matter of running back. The thought alone made his grip the cup in his hand tightly, gritting his teeth as he resisted the urge to just throw down the cup itself in pure anger. "I'll never run back to them.." he said in a low voice. This was a decision he had made up for himself while watching over Ashral. He wanted to be apart of them, almost out of his own rebellious nature. Though it made it much easier to align himself to them after hearing what SIU actually did, it made his father's group look all that much more like the bad guys in it all. He took a deep breath and tried to relax himself as he then looked to Melody. "Are you staying too? Or you going back to the professor..." he asked Melody, a frown on his face.

Melody frowned, "I want to stay... But please don't stay because of me.."

"I'll be honest.. I'm not staying because of you.." he then smiled weakly. "But I'm happy that you decided to stay as well." he then turned his attention back to Mara but paused as he noticed Ashral was now staring at him. He stared back for a minute. "What is it, Ashral?"

She looked from Leukos to Melody, "..nothing." she then went back to staring at Ree, though her expression wasn't as intense as it was more filled with a sense of curious boredom than anything else.

Leukos shook the thought then looked to Mara. "So what happens next?" he asked simply. He knew they'd be training together in a couple weeks but what happens until then. He wasn't sure what else there would be to do other than to stay awake indefinitely in Hexxis' room until Hexxis finally woke up again.

Mara raised her hand to run her fingers through her hair and hit an armored hand against the helmet. Making a soft frustrated noise she lowered it and looked toward Melody instead. "No....it isn't your fault. It is just something we noticed happens a lot around Sanctuary. With what we are doing, it might not be something you want people you could be fighting to know. " she took a breath and glanced at Tri before looking back. " Think about having a glass cup as your item.. Oh hey thicken glass might be armor but intense heat can still melt it. So we'll bring along a fire user just encase we see you and it is a weakness " she waved her hand to that side. "That is why we are asking you to be careful who you tell. Pick another item you like and use that as your fake one when ever someone asks. As for you two ....most people already know your item and skills... I guess it would just be for new people " she lightened her voice.

She glanced between them both as they talked, taking note of how they acted and reacted. Leukos obviously has the most answer ..and Melody ...she reminded her of a lost puppy when she was helping her regain her memory. It was second nature to just distrust people but she couldn't really see any reason that they might be faking. "Okay. Welcome to the SIU. "She said with barely any fanfare. "For now...you keep trying to stay awake..unless you think Hexxis will keep that heart beating " she said with a look toward Ashra for the last part of the question. "Melody ...you get to follow my second in command for a few days. Spy on him, even tell him I told you. The next week I want you to help ...my sister set up her lab. By then we should all be ready to go with a meeting with a few of the Renegade members. None of you are fighting...you are just going to be there because I don't want them trying to sneak back in here and attempting to kidnap you. " she glanced at Ashral and hoped Hexxis would take control by them.. or what ever happened to happen...the whole situation made her very nervous. "Unless any of you have other questions ... That should be all "

Tri kept his eyes on Ashral, feeling disturbed when she glanced toward Ree but said nothing. He listen with half an ear toward the conversation, saying nothing, when it seemed that just his presence in the room had intrested Ashral into attempting to taunt him...speaking could make it much worse for Leukos.

Ree leaned his head back on his arms and looked toward Mara, pointedly avoiding Ashral's gaze even as the other two were introduced as new members to their group.

Melody nodded in agreement. "I understand..." She then smiled as Mara welcomed them into SIU, feeling a renewed vigor.

Leukos nodded slowly, figuring that would be the request. Stay awake. At least until Hexxis could wake up and keep her own heart beating. Who knew how long it would take until then. He sighed lightly and began to make himself another cup of coffee reluctantly. He honestly already looked like he could fall asleep at any minute but was holding up surprisingly well for being a kid who hadn't slept in almost 3 whole days now, save for the few times he dozed off for a bit.

Melody nodded with enthusiasm as she was assigned to follow Trisuri for a bit, though when she looked at him, her face showed her hesitation for the situation, though she was more than willing to go with him. Then she would help Mara's sister set up her lab. That sounded just as exciting as she smiled yet again. "Right!" she agreed. She then looked to Leukos with a slight bit of concern. That meant they'd be separated again and he'd be forced to stay with the malice. She would have protested had it not been for Leukos acting so willing to do it.

"I guess you're hoping I'm gone by then, right?.... And what if I decided to stay?" she didn't accompany her statement with a grin this time, but kept her face leaning towards one of boredom, eyes focused on Ree until she even tired of that and looked to Tri again. "Leukos won't be able to stay awake that long... so then what... do I get to hang out with Tri then?.." she asked, a wild grin spreading on her face, she leaned forward as those she were about to stand, eyes fiercely locked onto Tri.

Leukos reflexively placed a hand on Ashral's shoulder and looked to her before she could stand. "...i don't reccommend that.." he commented bluntly.

She looked to him, eyes narrowing then slowly shifted back to sit in the chair. Sighing heavily she shifted her gaze to the cup he was holding, staring at it.

He narrowed his eyes in return at her. "...I know what you're thinking. Don't." he seemed to threaten sternly then took a sip of the coffee.

Ashral gave a grunt in annoyance as she forced herself to lean back in the chair, looking more than annoyed about the whole situation.

Melody just watched them with concern. Was the malice overpowering his effect, or was it just because he was so tired. Or was she always like this even under his effects. She had no basis to go off of so she reached her hand to put it on Leukos' arm, looking at him in worry.

Ashral shot a glare to Melody as she moved closer to Leukos, even touching him. She didn't say anything, she just then averted her eyes the other way in extreme irritation.

He then sighed and looked to Mara. "So if you're meeting members of renegade, that might mean my father may be there.... you know if he sees me, they might try to get me back right then and there..." he warned as he seemed more concerned now, not wanting that to happen. But if they had a way to prevent to renegade from seeing him, it probably wouldn't be so bad. But then there was Melody too. He had no idea what they were planning, but trusted they would have some sort of plan in place for such things.

"It depends on you of course. Leukros has to sleep ....if he does and you cause trouble...you will also have to sleep" her voice was soft but her faceplate never looked away from the Malice as she said it, trying to impress upon her the underlying meaning of those words without having to say it out right to the other two. "Tri will not be allowed to see you until Hexxis wakes up " remembering her conversation with Kae earlier, wonders if that would affect anything,

Turning her attention to Leukos she nodded. "If he did that would be stupid since Zaku will be there too and that would endanger him as well as any possibility of meta gaining any type of foothold. " she said while tapping the side of her leg. "Since Zaku wasn't to intrested in the nitpicking details of where we are meeting or security outside, you three along with my team will be sent to guard the second level, you will be our backup if things go south. A few other units will be around guarding but you seven will be there. We will arriving early than schedule to avoid accidental meet ups anyways" she said looking between all of them. "I would have normally just sent you off to our main base in norcrest and leave it at that but ..let time we transferred something th
e cargo was stolen half way. Until we find the leak..you will be with me "

Tri looked away from Hexxis for a moment and toward Melody as Mara talked. He gave the muse a slight nod and turned his attention back to Hexxis, it was doubtful he was even aware of the rest if the conversation at this point.

Ashral shifted her gaze, intense as it could be at Mara. Clenching her teeth a bit as she narrowed her eyes. "I'd like to see y-.."

Leukos reached up and put a hand on her shoulder again. "Ashral.. please." he half-begged. He understood the full extent of her words and was unsure whether Ashral understood that herself or just didn't care as she was making some very reckless moves. Why was she acting out so much with him sitting right there. He then looked over her then looked to Tri, then Mara then sighed.

Ashral paused at his touch the scoffed lightly. "..I'm surprised you'd be damning her in that same sentiment... Ahhh, whatever." she seemed agitated as she folded her arms, slumped slightly in the chair like a teenager who's been told no.

Melody seemed worried about the meeting but nodded. "..you can.. count on us! Right Leukos?"

"...yeah." he muttered tiredly, eyes now focused on Ashral to makes sure she didn't do anything else. He then blinked in a bit of confusion. "...who's that?.." he directed his question to Ashral suddenly.

Without breaking eye contact with Mara, she narrowed her eyes even further in answer. "It's no one... stop reading my mind." she requested bluntly.

"I can't help it.. it just happens..."

"Then don't ask me questions about what you don't understand.." her voice was sharp and unforgiving as she spoke.

"....fine." He sighed and took another sip of the coffee, then directed his attention to Melody for a moment before drinking the rest of what was in the cup and setting it down. "Alright... sounds good to me.."

Ashral then sat up in her chair, Leukos already eyeing her carefully as she interlaced her fingers and crossed her legs. "If I may... I find it interesting that I'm such a pain and a nuisance and suggestively such a liability. But that only lies in the fact that I'm a wild card, right? Now wouldn't it be nice if I was more cooperative? If there was some thing that would persuade me to want to help... I offered such a thing for Tri and was turned down.. And now you lot complain about how I seem to have no want to do anything other than stabby-stabby.." she closed her eyes with a smirk. "For being the colonel of a military group of powerful metas, you sure are a horrible motivator." she spoke calmly and with a sense of irritation still in her voice, opening her shadow eye to look at Mara. "Maybe that is something to consider...Ms. Gold" Ashral opened her other eye as they narrowed in contest, using the formality of Mara's name in sarcasm.

Hah, so she wanted to do it that way. Smiling darkly under her helmet Mara turned to respond. "I do-

"She is a horrible motivational speaker on the fly. She is also charming when she wants to be, but at the same time takes out her frustration out on anyone who tries to pick up a fight with her.She had her good and bad qualities just like anyone else " Ree said suddenly as he got up, tired of all the tip-toeing around.

"Right now she has a lot to be frustrated about, even if that does not excuse her from trying to take it out on you. I can't say that you haven't given us some pretty good reasons either" he said angrily narrowing his eyes at Ashral, tired of all of this ..even tired that Tri and Mara had moved automatically back to the speaker and bodyguard roles when Tri should be the one taking control of the conversation.

Mara growled and turned sharply to Ree taking a step forward then shook her head, crossing her arms as she let Ree run with it, watching Ashral and the other two metas carefully. This was not something she would have said at all right now to them but in a way they did need to know.

"All of this is a learning experience for you and for us. Powerful meta group....." He shook his head tiredly " Truth? that is currently two to three metas, and two children. We are learning how to set this up and there will be things that fail or work. We are far -far- away from being ready to deal with the Renegades head on...and the only reason we even picked a fight with them yet was that Andy and Melody were perfectly placed. " he waved a hand out before moving toward the table and grasping the back of one of the chairs. They were only woefully realizing now how badly prepared they were, and this was with the Renegades not even trying to kill anyone. SIU wasn't a serious threat to them as a group yet, but they still had backing...they had some metas and always more humans.

"This...meeting should have been done the moment Kage, Andy and Melody joined. Except Tri kept being injured to the point of death by -you-. " he said looking toward Ashral, the anger draining until he was staring at her coldly.

"You want him to take your power and die at a later time ..willingly by your hand or die now at the point of your blade? Tell me why. " he strightened and stared at her as the glow in his eyes brighten a little as it reacted to his emotions.

" Is this to prove something to yourself? How you are powerful but also how weak and greedy others are that they deserve what you deal to them? " he leaned forward just a bit then shook his head. "You may have been a powerful True Shadow in your past, and we may be in need of more experienced people...but not for that price. Never for that price. Even in the most logical of views we are getting... a few months of your service in exchange for the death of one of our more powerful and experienced metas? " he said moving to stand until he was between Ashral and Tri. "Think of something else if you want or just drop it. "

Tri was standing now near Mara, her shadow. His wings were slightly raised as he narrowed his eyes at Ree's back as the other arch tried to confront the Malice and instead told her what he was most afraid of. As touching as it was, he didn't need the defense he would just continue to refuse it. What bothered him was that Ree just hadn't stayed quiet and maybe even brought down what small moral Mara had raised in the kids. Telling them the bleak truth was not helping any of them...in the worst case senerios they would have to back out for a year or two ..and get off the Renegade's radar until they were ready. Assuming Parley went as everyone thought it would...into the garbage.

Ashral was starting into a grin as Mara turned to respond, ready for what she had to say. However, when Ree interjected, her grin faded and her face grew stern and her eyes narrowed as she listened to him speak. Fully focused on him, as he talked, never moving or looking like she'd fight back verbally as she let him finish what he had to say before staring at him for almost a full minute afterwards.

Melody frowned as Ree started in, in response to Ashral's words. She was worried this would turn into a fight right then and there as she tightened her grip a bit on Leukos' arm reflexively.

Leukos slowly set his cup down, eyes focused on Ashral, waiting for a response, a retaliation of some sort. He seemed ready to interfere at a moment's notice if she had decided to start a fight with Ree or any of them really. On edge, he steadied a hand on her shoulder.

She tilted her head slightly, her expression shifting into a bored expression, one very reminiscent of Hexxis' normal expression. "He seemed weak. I hoped to have strengthen his resolve by making him fight for his life. As it has been proven to me even now, it did nothing but make him more of a coward." she stated bluntly, her eyes never moving from their locked gaze with Ree's eyes. "It would seem.. that you made out with all the spine in this family of yours.." she then titled her head the other way, her face filling quickly with intrigue. "You have made it very clear that I made an error and my original deal was in fact very unfair. Hexxis' life is not worth as much as Tri's. As such, I propose a revision to my original deal. As before... I will from this point forward work with you. I'll do what you want of me... I will keep Hexxis' torment to a minimum. However, what I want in return now... Two things." she held up two fingers in emphasis, her eyes staring deep within Ree himself, as though nothing mattered but him and her words to him. "......I want to go outside...... Once a month or so, I want to be taken somewhere. Anywhere. As long as it's out there. I won't do anything to harm anyone. I just want to go outside for at least an hour." her face still full of intrigue as glimmers of how serious she was about her wish. She then put down one finger, only holding up her index finger now. ".....When I separate. I want you to let me leave...." she blinked lightly, analyzing his face as she spoke calmly. "Until then, I will not harm anyone you have not ordered me to harm unless they intend to harm Hexxis." she finalized then leaned back slightly in her chair, uncrossing her legs to sit up more straight. "...how is this new proposal? Do we have a deal?"

Leukos watched her, looking slightly puzzled at her request but then looked to Ree then to Mara as she finished. He wasn't sure what was going on, but he could only gather this was some kind of discussion towards whether Ashral would ultimately cooperate with them or not. He seemed uneasy but then shifted his eyes to the ground, contemplating what to do as he reached to grab the cup of coffee with one hand, keeping his other on Ashral's shoulder.
