 King Machia has lost his marbles. No, he’s not crazy. Well, maybe just a little bit but it’s not as if he’s going to go around screaming “Off with their heads!” anytime soon. He really has just lost a bag of marbles. They were his very favorite ones, too. (Words cannot accurately describe how much he loves the red one.) He’s just so distraught that he can’t even begin to think about attending to the various matters of state. To find the marbles, he has knocked over all of the furniture, on the chance that maybe they are hiding underneath something. Queen Owlatte has looked in all of the tallest towers in the castle, even daring to peer on every single window ledge… and there are a lot of windows. Prince Cereal has looked in the smallest crevices, thinking that maybe they rolled somewhere and are just waiting to be found. Pierro, well, he hasn’t been much help yet. He pulled a rabbit out of his hat, and a dove, and a cake, and even our illustrious guild captain, Zaerys. (Boy, was that embarrassing.) Yet despite everyone’s hard work, the marbles are still nowhere to be found!
Would you help King Machia find his lost marbles before he loses his mind, too?

Various clues will be posted at random throughout the Kingdom forums. Most clues will be contained in one post, but some of the later and harder clues will be scattered throughout the first page of posts. Worse yet, not all of the clues will be in new threads. It might be that you have to revisit the past in order to find the marbles. (Although, if that is the case, you’ll always find the clues only on page 1 of any thread. They will never appear on any other page, I promise. That would be kind of cruel otherwise.) If you see that I’ve edited something into one of your posts, please leave it there! It’ll be removed once the scavenger hunt is over.
There’ll be three “rounds” to the game. The first two rounds will end when one or more people solve all of the clues and quote me with the answer to that round’s question. There will be an in-thread announcement to alert you that a round has ended and a new one is beginning. I’ll try to quote everyone to make this easier. After the third and final round, you will have a full week (7 days) to submit your answers via PM to Lumi’s mule. You’ll find more information on this when we get that far. (Dates in particular, since it depends on how fast the first two rounds go.)

Part III: Chase the rainbow!
Hm. Looks like we’ve already lost Pierro’s attention. Well, I guess that was longer than normal. Still, a hint to start things off would’ve been nice. My best guess? I’d suggest you once again revisit the past. Pierro is a big believer in that the past shapes the present, even when we don’t want it to do so. After that, maybe you should check on some of our guild-specific documents. King Machia is bound to have reviewed those at one point or another. Beyond that? I don’t have a single idea.
As with the last round, things get harder here. The clues will be even more vague and further scattered, very few and far between and marked by lists from our slightly list-addicted Queen. Again, everyone is more than welcome to work together to make things easier! Answers, however, cannot be submitted by a team— they must be sent in by you and for you as an individual. Multiple guesses are allowed if you change your mind on your answer, but if you do send in multiples then I will consider your most recent answer to be your final answer and will disregard the others (even if one of them is correct).
Hints will once again be dropped at random, although I will try to show more restraint this time around. “Try” being the key word.
When you find all of the marbles, please PM “R3belAngel” (Lumi’s mule*) with the following information:

• Pierro has been working on a new spell that might help us to locate the marbles, so we’re trying to find him. Where could he have gone?
• You found Pierro! He was hanging out in the Hogwarts thread.

• Pierro is willing to try out a new spell to find King Machia's marbles, but he seems to have lost his ingredients. And forgotten the words.
• The ingredients have been found! Words are being unscrambled.

• The spell is cast and soon thereafter the trail of each marble is highlighted. Where could they be?

Names will appear here in the order that guesses were submitted. If you submit multiple guesses, your name will show up on the list multiple times, but I will only consider your final guess when it comes to giving out prizes. (Timestamps will be included!) After the submission period ends and if we end up getting some funny responses, I’ll post everything submitted to me here unless you specifically ask me not to do so.
