Sailor V manga is my very first things that really got me into Sailor Moon. I loved it when she could use her Moon Compact to see what the youmas really looked like in their human forms. At the time it was only fansubs I was reading of it so it's very neat that it's been brought here to the US. I even went and bought both manga volumes of the books of Sailor V. Very fun to actually read it and see the colored pictures.

She's very much a prototype for Moon herself. She starts as a klutz until she gets her powers.
It's a bit sad with Kaitou Ace though. Doesn't give me much hope about my original character's chances at love.

It's been AGES since I've read Sailor V. I had completely forgotten about Kaitou Ace's very existence as well! Wow.
I do remember the similarities between Sailor V and Sailor Moon. It makes me wonder if Naoko-sama used Sailor V as an experiment to see if it might be successful before unleashing Sailor Moon on the world.
