Hairdressing - Also his part time job, Adrien spends the majority of his time cutting and doing hair. He realizes it's relatively stereotypical, given his flamboyant personality, but it doesn't stop him from enjoying it all the same and in fact embraces the fact that he's as good at it as he is. He went to cosmetology school after graduating high school and now works at a local hair salon.
DIY projects - Youtube, Pinterest, Tumblr, wherever he can find do-it-yourself projects, there will Francis be. He devours personal projects, and can usually be found doing at least three or four at a time. Whether or not he actually finishes them is an entirely different story, but he loves being crafty - in all senses of the word. This includes food, but not nearly as much as he likes art and decoration projects.
Movies - A classic binge watcher of Netflix, Adrien devotes a great deal of time to the whole Netflix and chill mentality - except in his case, it's literally chilling. You can often find him curled up on the couch with a bowl of popcorn and a good movie, or at the movie theater, or at a friend's house just watching things and relaxing. He also knows a little too much movie trivia and quotes them too much.
Virtues:
Gregarious - Adrien is by all accounts of the word, a people person. He loves to spend time around them, loves to be a part of groups, loves to get to know more people, and prides himself on being able to have a great deal of friends. People are important to him, not just because it feeds his ego, but also because it makes him feel good to be around others.
Charming - Relaxed and easygoing, Adrien is perfectly capable of charming the pants off of old ladies and shop assistants and waiters and waitresses. Whether or not it works on people his own age remains to be seen, but he's been known to be a silver tongued devil on several occasions, chatting people up even with his streak of inherent happiness.
Comfortable - Adrien is utterly relaxed in his own skin, his own orientation, his own everything. He doesn't care what others think of his clothing, his flirtations, his occupation; he embraces it and himself - sometimes a little too much, but he loves who he is and what he does. Life, as Adrien says, is too short to consider not being in love with yourself.
Eager - He's an eager beaver, especially when it comes to pleasing people. He wants to be that golden child, the one that gets the gold star, the one that's at the top of the list. He'll follow directions to the best of his abilities and do everything he can to make a difference and stand out. Proving himself as capable and intelligent and worthwhile is important to Adrien, in whatever situation he's in.
Flaws:
Selfish - Eager though he may be to prove himself, he'd rather it not be at the expense of his own self. A secret scaredy cat, Adrien does not like rippling the waters or causing trouble - unless he knows he can control the situation. Throw him somewhere unfamiliar or somewhere unknown, and he freezes up, in spite of his desires to show off his strengths and abilities. He will put himself first in situations.
Shallow - Something not beneficial to him? Then he doesn't want to do it. Adrien weighs everything based on whether or not it has any sort of benefit to him, and if it doesn't, well...he doesn't see any point in doing it at all. Most of his relationships lack depth because he can't see them having any impact, and because he doesn't quite know how to look beyond the physical just yet.
Dishonest - An affluent and unrepentant liar, Adrien has no problem talking himself up to get what it is that he wants or to show himself in a better light. He'll lie and cheat and steal to prove himself, and also to show off, which makes it difficult to know when he's actually telling the truth. Usually, however, he will be eager enough to please his superiors that he'll be as truthful as possible without showing himself to be weak.
Reckless - Eager to please - sometimes a little too eager. Combined with a penchant for dishonesty, Adrien will do what it takes to show off - and if that means doing something stupid and ridiculous, well then, that's what he'll do. Once he gets notions in his mind, it's hard to dissuade him of things, no matter how dumb an idea it is.
