yeah I hope it helps, it even helped me when I was close to trying again early this year, I accidently opened this up read it and I was sooo ashamed of what I was trying to do because I was going against my own beliefs.

*hugs* I really like it alot. Such a strong messege it betrays. if i was still in the boat of cutting, I would have loved to read this because its really opens the eyes to everything.

Yes when you do things like that you have two ways of thinking, the first is the selfish way, the other is the numb and not even reallizing you were doing it. The last time I cut I wasn't even aware that I was doing it, I wasn't aware of anything until someone took the knife from me and took me back to my dorm room. But when I was suicidal, it was always selfish. I am glad you were able to relate to those lines, they are my favorite too.

*nods* exactly, you don't see anything because you don't think. No one seems to realize that life gets better if you try to make it better. You have so much ahead of you and can change alot about yourself if you try and not think that horrible things in the past is all you can accomplish if anyone tries hard they can change everything because someone out there cares for you and always will
They are great lines. alot of emotion and meaning behind them

It all came from the heart, my frined hasn't cut since and he is doing very well and actually a happy person now, kinda like how i changed, but I do have momentary relapses in thoughts, but that is becaue their is no real cure for what i have.

I'm glad your friend is doing great! well, it only matter if you cuts and if you have the will to put the razor, kinfe or whateve down then you will be able to maybe stop it and be happy
