A former Pokémon Ranger, Dan the Man has many impressive techniques that she can teach your Pokémon in exchange for some bottle caps. Come check it out if you're interested.
Dan the Man will also give you special battle items if you use her services enough, in recognition of your hard work. If you train with her three times, she will give you a Smoke Ball for your Pokémon. Train with her six times for Black Sludge and, finally, nine times for a Toxic Orb.
