Mt. Snicket Gym

"Where Our Passions Burn."

As trainers reach the summit of Mt. Snicket, they will notice stairs carved out of the walls of the crater. These stairs are accompanied by a wooden sign reading, "Gym" with an arrow pointing down the stairs. Around two hundred feet down, the stairs level off into a tunnel leading into the side of the volcano. It is dimly lit by torches that lead trainers into the bowls of the caverns. This tunnel winds for a while before emptying out into a larger cavern where there is a sparse, rocky path; leading trainers over a river of lava around fifty feet below them. There are various Pokémon running around, but they are not aggressive nor able to be captured. In the distance is a large arena nestled up in the lava. This is the gym.

Information

Gym Leader - Malayna Fireheart: The Burning Wolf.

Gym Rules

1) The battle will be one on one, with two Pokemon each. Trainers with three badges or more will face one more. The gym leader will choose their team based upon the challenger's.

2) Only trainers are allowed to make substitutions

3) The gym leader has the right to stop the battle at any time.

4) Failure to post within one week(seven days) constitutes a forfeit from the challenger.

5) If you wish to challenge the gym, send Laram Knight a PM. He will let you know if it is available. Also, please make a list of the Pokemon you will use. I will not stack my team against you, but I must know so that I can choose my team to effectively give you the best gym battle..

6) There is a ten post limit to each round. If both party's Pokemon are capable of continuing the battle after ten posts from the challenger, I will stop the battle and both parties will switch to their next Pokemon. The next ones also have a limit of ten posts. After that, I will review your performance, and judge whether or not you receive my badge.

The intense heat of the volcano simulates the same environment as Sunny Day, making fire attacks stronger, water attacks weaker and altering the effectiveness of certain other moves.
