Because I'm going through contest withdrawal, guys. And it's bad.
Anywhoodles! The challenge: recolor a kin using a summer color palette like this one or this one. Any and all kin are welcome. Never recolored a kin before? That's okay, too! Any and all skill levels from total beginner to "I've done this kin a million times and could recolor it in my sleep" are welcome. Need some advice? Feel free to ask. No one here bites too hard. (I hope.)
Don't care for digital media? Hand-drawn/traditional art entries can be submitted, as well. As long it fits the color scheme, I'm good with that.
edit: If you want to add some accessories to your kin, please go ahead! Sunglasses, hats, sunscreen, buckets... whatever works. You do not have to, but you can if you want to. edit 2: For those of you who don't have or don't like Photoshop, Best Free Photoshop Alternatives.
Rules: 01. Entries must be your own original work! You can't have someone from a service or a friend make it for you. You'll be immediately disqualified. 02. You are allowed to alter your entry up until the end date. Once the contest ends, though, and voting begins, you will no longer be allowed to modify your entry. 03. One entry per person! No mules. 04. It must use a summer color palette. No polar/winterstorm, autumn, or spring pastels.
The contest will end on July 5th at 11:59 pm (Mountain Time). There'll be two prizes and the winner will be determined by poll/guild vote. Voting will last for three days, so ending on the 8th. 1st: Jack Sprout 2nd: Skulverine
UPDATE: Because I, for some strange reason, was thinking that this ended later than it did, I've extended the contest for three more days! It'll end on July 9th. Voting will begin on the 10th and the winner will be announced on the 13th or 14th. Sorry, guys!
I know, right? I needed a break from princesses (even though I only have two and a half left) and this seemed to work.

I haven't made any new kin recolors in a while. I'm gunna have fun with that emotion_dowant And do you only want recolors? Or can those with talent who can add cool things like sunhats or sunglasses add those things in too?

Hm. Good question. Sure, why not? Small additions could be fun. I'm mentally picturing those fake, neon, plastic glasses on a kin and it's pretty entertaining.
I'll add that to the first post.

Hm. Good question. Sure, why not? Small additions could be fun. I'm mentally picturing those fake, neon, plastic glasses on a kin and it's pretty entertaining.
