Tail flicked behind him as the stallion walked along, his blue gaze scanning the scenery as it passed him by. There was so much that he wanted to do with his life but none of it was happening. While he loved Foxglove to death he wanted more in life than just his best friend. She was already a mother to be and where was he with any form of romance? Was it because he was socially awkward or too quiet? Frowning his skeleton marked mouth he paused at a cherry blossom tree and inhaled the sweet scent and allowed it to envelope him. It was a calming sensation and he allowed it to sweep over him and clear his thoughts from worry. It would all make itself clear in time, he just had to allow it to. WC: 137

AstoriaFallen Next time I'm this late smack me lol At some point in his life Sweet Pea had grown a little tired of flying, and yet, walking seemed to strange for him to commit to.
The stallion had been moving at a leisurely pace all day with no real destination in mind. He would glide through the winds for a while, walk, glide, walk; there was no real rhyme or reason to his movements, just simplistic movement. So long as it took him farther and farther away from bad thoughts then he was happy enough.
Now that he was on the ground the stallion found himself flexing his wings, fluttering the tips of his orchid feathers in an effort to find the most comfortable position. It wasn't easy; not in this heat. He was generally a fan of the colder months, but the weather had been steadily warming up, which meant having that extra layer of fluff against his hide was going to become bothersome.
Could be worse.
Making his way ever forward, Sweet Pea followed the sweet scent of a cherry blossom tree. They were his absolute fav, and he thought that perhaps he had been unconsciously making his way closer all day. Once the tree became visible so did another form; that of a stallion. It was a little strange, really; he may have passed for one of Sweet Pea's relatives had his scales been pink instead of blue and well...not so scaly.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" He asked pleasantly. When he came to a stop near the stallion, Sweet Pea lifted his orchid gaze into the limbs above him.

He was so wrapped up with the flowers he hadn't even heard the stallion approach until he spoke. Turning his head he couldn't help but admire the stallions colors resembling the tree that he had just been enamored with. "Yes....it is." His remark was to both the tree and the stallion, though he didn't need to know that. Flicking his tail behind him he took a step back from the tree and turned to face the stallion so he could address him better. He wasn't entirely sure what to talk to him about though. Dimitri had never been one to talk a great deal. "What brings you this way?" He asked, curious to know if perhaps he was just in the area or if the tree had lured him here as well.

"Everything and nothing," Sweet Pea answered softly. He canted his head so that he could look at both the tree and the stallion at his side. A few locks of his soft, blonde mane fell across his cheek. "I don't get to see the blossoms as much as I'd like, so I couldn't pass up the chance to bask in them while I could." The way he spoke was wistful, and bordering on a resigned sort of melancholy. He likely wouldn't be back in this area for a very, very long time, and the thought of going so long without seeing the tree was depressing. "I'm babbling, though, aren't I?" He laughed a little and shook his head.
Sweet Pea stretched out his wing to nudge the other's side with the tips of his feathers. "What about you? Do you come here regularly, or did you just stumble upon it too?"

"They truly are a beautiful sight...." His voice was a whisper as he was just saying it to himself. He listened to the stallions words and gave a small nod of his head and gazed upon the delicate petals. He had happened upon the tree by chance, he wasn't aware there were any in the area so it had been a pleasant surprise for him. His attention was returned to the stallion as he apologized for babbling. "I don't mind." He hadn't really thought he was going on at all, and it was nice to listen to him.
"This is my first time here. I had found this by pure chance just like you." His tail flicked behind him as he looked at the stallion and pawed at the ground lightly with one hoof. "My name is Dimitri, what may I call you?" He hadn't realized they had gone so long without introducing one another, though he hadn't thought about it until now. He had just been enjoying the moment with the pale colored male.
