The farther trainers get away from Lake L'Engle the calmer the waters get. At this point along the river, the rapids have turned into a gentle current. As such, the area is quite green and teeming with life. There are plenty of places to make land along the shore, and plenty of Pokémon in and out of the water to distract trainers. The trees lining the river and the area around are full and provide plenty of shade for everything under their leaves. Due to the temperate climate, it is a popular place for picnics and other outdoor activities.
