Placing her weight against the body of a branch she used as an oar, Calcifer idled, lost in thought of what she could be doing aside from waiting for a patron she knew likely wouldn't come. It had been pretty slow lately, but especially at certain times of the day, the traffic slowed to a stop. All-in-all, as a boatman, there really wasn't a frequent bought of customers except perhaps during more special occasions or holidays. There was some kid that asked if they could use her raft as a sled to toboggan down a hill once last Winter when she was left waiting in the cold. Did they really think she'd say yes to that? This was basically a company vehicle! It wasn't like she could easily make another one when everything was buried in snow, not without the risk of setting more alight than she really meant to...
She yawned, cutting off her tangent of a thought. Calcifer may not have had a need to sleep like the average person, but she seemed to still be confined with some of the same limitations. While being sleepy might not have played a factor, fatigue still could, especially when she was standing still so long. The girl lowered herself down to sit, and then rolled onto her back, the oar rolling from her body a couple inches. The sky was pretty clear, she couldn't even try to make sense of the shapes in the clouds! "Maybe I should have brought a book..." she complained, heaving a sigh. Technically, she supposed she still could go grab one; it wasn't like she was ever really off-duty, after all... but hey, the grass was kind of comfortable after standing for that length of time.
