Well, after what seemed to be an eternity of waiting, Toffee was finally back in action. Or whatever one would define as action for the pointy-eared one. Wearing her usual Lolita-esque outfit, with a bonnet to hide her ears [but only after realizing she wasn't going to get away with prancing through the streets without one], the feline obsessed alien hummed a cheerful tune as she attempted to remember the location of the petstore.
The directions she had been given from the random passerby had seemed easy enough, anyways. Turn right here, cross this street, look for that mailbox...
And yet, the lavendar haired girl couldn't seem to find it. Distraught, it appeared as if the teen was about to cry.
"Myaaaa...kittiiiiiiiies~"

Nashi was loaded down with groceries as she stumbled down the city street. Anyone who had thought ahead would have gotten a few shoulder bags or some sort of cart to lug it all home. But then again, Nashi wasn't one to think ahead. As people pushed by on the busy sidewalk, she was getting nervous. Lately she'd been getting more and more edgy around people, and these streets seemed to be getting narrower each time she passed through them. She couldn't help but stop when she passed a store with kittens and puppies rolling over each other in the window, smiling as she watched them. But then, someone ran into her and sent her fumbling onto the ground. The groceries were scattered about, and her mousey tail had popped into few at the shock. "Not good not good not good.." She whimpered, hands slapped over her butt in an attempt to hide it.

Had she reached the pet store? Toffee was so absorbed in the possibility that she had arrived at the place of cute kittens and puppies, she almost didn't notice Nashi's mouse tail. Even if she had, really, she more than likely would have associated it with being similiar in nature to her ribbon cat tail, which she always wore with any of her outfits.
After a few moments of oogling the cute baby animals in the window, Toffee noticed Nashi, as well as the fallen groceries.
"Myaa~ You okies, nya?"

Nashi blinked, pulling her hat down further when she felt her ears pop out. She had managed to retract her tail, though she was still blushing crimson. "I-Eegh-Um." She fumbled, trying to gather everything up. Her hat had slipped part of the way over her eyes, so she couldn't see well enough to notice anything odd about the other, "I'm fine. Sorry."

"Myaaa? Okie-do, thens," Toffee replied, nodding cheerfully. The alien girl did a small twirl before picking up a few of the fallen items.
"I'm Toffee, mya~ Who're yous?"

"Um.. Nashi." She said quietly, stuffing things back in their bags carelessly. Something seemed off about this girl. How many people on the street would stop to help an average girl like her pick up groceries? Maybe she had run into her and she was waiting for an apology? Oh no, she must seem so rude ignoring her like that. She blushed darker, finally looking up at the girl, "Nashi Sukizawa."

"Meow?"
Toffee titled her head inquizzitively, then grinned broadly, proceeding to make an attempt at glomping/hugging/whatever possible action given the current positioning the poor rodent DNA Mew as if she were an old friend.
"Nice to meet yous, Nashi-chans, meow~"

Nashi was confused. No, more than just confused. She was wondering when the men in white coats were going to come haul this strange little critter off. She wasn't one to talk though, imagine what everyone would say if they heard her talking to herself about her strange new attachments, and those... Things. She was probably crazier than this girl, just in a different way. Looking the girl over, she determined that something really was strange. Plently of people wore lolita style on the streets, but this girl looked like she was taking it a bit far. She reminded her of something, but she couldn't quite place what it was. Instead of just staring, which she deemed would be mean of her, she nodded, "Nice to meet you... Toffee?" That was an interesting name for sure.

If Toffee knew of Nashi's confusion towards herself, the alien girl didn't make mention of it as she continued to cling to the mouse Mew, her bonnet falling off at some point in time. Not that it mattered; Toffee found it perfectly normal to walk around in a Lolita-esque outfit, obsess over cats, and have pointed ears.
"Yuh-huh, meow~ Toffee, miao!" the girl confirmed, nodding cheerily. Glancing at the shop window, she pointed eagerly at the kittens.
"Lookies~ kyoot kitties, meow!"

At the appearance of the girl's pointed ears, Nashi frowned, then snapped back to attention when she mentioned the cats. "Oh. Yeah, right. They're adorable." she managed, having become a little uncomfortable with them in the past few weeks for a reason she couldn't quite discern.
Nashi gathered up her bags and set them against the building, deciding they would be safe there for now. She smiled, "Say Toffee... Where are you from?" The question didn't quite seem like prodding, but it was certainly something she would like to know.

"Meow?"
Toffee thought about this long and hard, although it seemed like only a few seconds, before doing a small twirl and plopping down onto the sidewalk, sitting there with what seemed to be a standard 'cute' grin on her face.
"Ummms...I did liff in th' ozzer place, mya, where everyone wash, bu' I un' think they want meh backs, miaos. Just cause I like kitties, meow."
Or, at least, that was the only reason she could fathom her newfound label of 'traitor' coming into existence.

"Oh," Nashi sighed, realizing that even if this bizarre little girl was an alien, she probably wasn't much of a threat. She'd been told that some aliens were against the other ones, and that kind of made them allies, didn't it? Well, maybe not allies. The whole, cat and mouse thing seemed to be going on in her mind. "Well what about how you got here, was it fun?" She ventured, not wanting to end up in an awkward silence.

Toffee was lost in thought with that question for a bit, a confused look on her face as she attempted to remember what had gone on. There had been something about sending themselves to Earth as an orb, then collection...
Not that the teen could recall what she did as an orb. And that tank had been so stuffy and small, too.
"Ums...I unnos, myu~" she finally said, shrugging. Her grin was gone, instead replaced with an apologetic look. "Sorries."
Moving to sit on her knees, despite being on a sidewalk in the middle of Japan, let alone in front of a building, Toffee peered over the windowsill to look once more at the puppies and kittens playing.
"I wants t' save de kitties, myu," the lavender haired one suddenly declared, looking back at Nashi. Her 'cute' grin from before returned as she showed off her ribbon cat tail.
"N' we can all be friendies, right?"
