After graduating from the universities, Jaime had expected their life to change significantly. They expected to obtain a great paying job and have lots of friends... which they achieved. They also expected to find a mate and have a family by now but they haven't. Jaime sighed as they sat down on the couch and stared at the ceiling. It was quiet, too quiet. They wondered what life would have been like it they care more about their social life rather than their schooling... would they have found a mate? Now that they thought about it, most of their friends were married and or had children. So what was wrong with them? Who wouldn't love to be with Jaime, the writer, the artist?

Sitting up, Jaime ran their claws through their hair as they thought. What if... They imbued a stone? It would give them a family without having to go out and search for a mate. It's not like money was a real issue... well maybe a little if books don't sell and if others don't buy their art. But, realistically, they could handle one or two kids. Jaime could even be a stay at home... parent. They'd get all the time with the kid or kids. They idea made them smile. Perhaps looking more into the stones and children wouldn't hurt... What's the worst that could happen?
