Well, I thank you for choosing to join the I Love Paul Fan Club. If you haven't noticed yet, I am Paul. I appreciate you for making your love for me known heart Well, things around here aren't just gonna be about me though, after all, that would be selfish. We will have all sorts of things here, ranging from parties, random threads and even mini-lottory/games. You'll have to check in from time to time to see, but I'll but the big events on this page, on the second post.

We all like to have fun, but there still have to be rules thrown in too. After all, we have to have rules, or we would all die^^ So the main rule I'm going to put is the golden rule.
golden rule
Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you
This way, things will run a whole lot smoother. There other rules too, such as:

1. Follow the ToS. We have to at least follow the basics that Gaia has provided 3nodding
2. While I am accepting fanboys, I am not looking for a boyfriend, neither am I looking for a girlfriend, so please don't ask sweatdrop
3. Please no flaming. It is really annoying, especially since most people that do it can't even do it right.
4. Please be literate! That includes typing! That means no l33t speak, and no typing tons of shortcuts to be faster. That means spacing, capital letters, and other punctuation is important. We won't kill you for making errors, but please try to keep it to a minimum, O.K.? smile
5. Try not to advertise lots of things in here. It is kinda rude to make tons of post promoting things in the middle of people's conversations. You can make reference to things, but don't try to force people to go and see you things 3nodding
6. Don't be rude to people.
7. If you don't win a contest in here or something, don't get mad. I hate it when people do that. You can't win them all, so just get over it.
8. Don't make too many random threads. We have a main hang out thread, so we don't need too many more. If a thread gets to where no one is posting in it, we will delete it.

As long as you follow these rules, everything can run smoothly. If you don't, you risk banning from the guild, and if too bad, possibly being reported to the Gaia mods. So, follow these rules, and we can all be happy here^_^

Attention Guild Members:

If you want to say something in the guild, use your God-given brain. (we're all gifted, right?) Before you post a new thread, look at the already-existing threads. Will what you want to say fit in one of them? If so, you don't need to start a whole new thread. Make sure all of your threads have a purpose. Think before you post!

Thank you.

*ahem*

Alright, ya'll should know by now that it's serious when I so choose to post something here. (since I usually make Citizen Mono do my dirty work *cough*)

This is important. Are you ready? Here we go.

Last night, Sunday April 23, 2006, you made me feel old.

That's right, old.

Why, you ask?

Bickering. Fighting. Posting nonsense in threads that have a purpose, just to get the better of someone.

So. I'm gonna say this one time, and you-all can choose whether or not to take offense. I hope you won't, because although this happens to apply to certain people this time, I know we'll have this same problem in the future. I'm warning everybody now.

Play-fighting is one thing, and even if you get mad and wanna take it into the "Fight for your Life" thread, that's fine. But here's the deal:

Whatever drama may or may not be going on in your personal lives, I don't wanna see it play out here. Are you mad at somebody? Then you had darn well better take it out of here. Use PMs, or MSN, or AIM, or whatever you have.

Like I said, play fighting is fine, and even encouraged in some threads. But nothing-let me repeat, nothing- that happens outside of this guild, in real life or otherwise, should affect how you treat people here.

Like I said, I hope you're not offended, because really you guys just hit a pet peeve of mine. Let's try and be civil in the future.

Oh yeah. Before you read half of this and go crazy protesting, I'm gonna say this.

If you have a problem with this post, follow the guidelines I just gave and PM me instead of griping about it in the guild.

'Kay? Thanks. That was "fun".

And if you break these I will come beat you...capiche?

Once again, I have to explain this. Please DO NOT MAKE THREADS JUST TO POINT OUT THAT WE ARE NOT HERE THAT OFTEN. We have lives other than Gaia you know; some of our people were gone on a mission, at their grandmothers, and doing other things. Sure, it may be hard to be here all at once, but we try to. If you want to complain about no one being here, do it somewher else. And especially don't make a thread just to point that out. Also, as we have said before don't get mad if me miss you on a post or something; we're human and we make mistakes. If you see that we made an error, P.M. us, and we will fix it. So please from now on, don't make threads for no reason. We already have a hangout thread, we don't need 10.

Proper Internet Usage 101. / Proper Human Being 101

This hasn't really been addressed in the guild before, and most people don't seem to realize it, but it seems that we need to have a little lesson about internet do's and don'ts.

Basically, legally, if you abuse/slander/etc. a real person on the internet, if that person so chooses they can take legal action against you. In real life. Just like if you had physically attacked them.

I understand that there are people in the world that are aggravating. All of you probably know people that you don't like. I know people that I don't like. And I understand that sometimes in a (for a lack of a better term) conflict, that aggravating person or persons might be the one (ones) making the trouble. But there's this thing--and here is where we get into the proper human being part--there's this thing called "being the better man" (or woman as the case may be). When someone is deliberately nasty to you, being the better man (woman) means ignoring it. Taking it to authority instead of reacting violently. Not taking the bait they're dangling in front of you.

So that long block of text is pretty much the long way of saying this: Whatever beef you have with Mr. or Ms. Annoying Person, don't bring it here. Especially if they're not here to defend themselves. Because that makes you the one in the wrong. Don't forget it.

And most importantly, have a nice day/night/part of the 24 hour cycle when you have time to snatch a minute at the computer. Buckle up and drive safe and all that good stuff.
