Just some ideas of movies that don't fall through the forced romance and "love triangle" tropes.
I submit, The Nut Job, an animated comedy about animals stealing from humans. It's great because it has all that set up of the guy getting the girl, but the reality is the guy gets the guy, his best friend (though I have my suspicions).

Zootopia! Its one of my fav Disney movies of all time and it's an empowering animal adventure about never giving up, even when everyone stands against you.
Moana is also a good Disney movie without romance, telling the story of an islander's journey to save her home.
Spirited Away is one of my fav movies of all time and it is an animated movie about a girl who works at a bathhouse for spirits in order to turn her parents back into humans. The story is really unique and fun, I love it so much heart
My Neighbor Totoro is a relaxing animated film about a family's new home and the wonders that the girls uncover in the forest surrounding the house.
I can't think of any more non-romantic movies atm but if i do then I'll come back to this post sometime and add more. I love this topic!
