I just wanted to give you all a heads up that we'll have our winter event starting sometime in early December. (I'm thinking maybe on the 3rd but it kind of depends on my work schedule and I don't have it out that far yet.) Some of you have commented that you'd like to see contests other than avatar or recolor*, so we'll be hosting an RNG in the main LK forum... since people have also commented that guilds can be a pain the butt to access. (It's true. They are. I really can't argue with that.) We're still probably going to be hosting at least one or two guild exclusives like a Secret Santa, but the majority of the event will be open to everyone.
With that in mind, did anyone want to join in and host a contest or game of their own? It can be a part of the public or private event-- we're not particular. We just wanted to give you enough time to gather prizes and plan things out. It didn't seem fair to spring it on you only a few days beforehand.
Here's what we have so far:
▸ RNG (ElegantlyLuminous) ▸ Trivia Game (aaleeyyee) ▸ Holiday-themed kin (OohShinee) ▸ Freebies (cheap, unwanted kin and potions-- recolors scratched due to lack of time)
*That doesn't mean that you can't host one-- just that we, as crew, are trying to break out of our rut.

It probably does, but I'm okay with that. I really meant that the crew would avoid hosting one for this event or, at least, offer more than that. sweatdrop I should clarify that. That sounds really cute, though! Would you want to do it in the public or private event?

Looks like I'm off December 2nd, so I guess we'll start then! It works as well as anything else.
So I suppose we have three options for running alternate contests.
1) I could reserve posts and fill them in with any information that you provide me with. 2) I could pm you when it's your time to post and you can take as many as you need. 3) I make nonsense posts that provide links made to contests you post in later pages, whenever you get on. (if that makes sense.)
What do you think would be best?

Not a contest or a game, but maybe have items auction in the store starting at 1g. Auction ends less than an hour. Or sell items in your store half price. Just a suggestion.

Yeah, that's kind of what I thought. I have four main posts besides the original: rules, RNG, kin adoption, and freebies (like art). I could probably combine the adoption and freebies, though. So let's call it three. How many do you think you'll need for trivia?

I was thinking mix of kins and items, but that works too. Would be best if there is an announcement or a post for the date and time of the auction/special sale.
