- The Basics - Name: Logan Hayes Team Affiliation: Independant Age: Twenty-two Gender Appearance: Masculine Sexual Orientation: Bisexual Status: Single Role-play Color: #1B3F8B - Personality - Three personality strengths:
Logical thinker - Despite his quick temper, when it comes to basic problems Logan can often take a moment to think things through. He is not one who likes to rush into things without thinking of the pros and cons.
Strong memory skills - Logan by no ways has an edict memory or photographic abilities, but he does remember most things very well. It is more visual then it is audible and often used when he is reflecting upon something that is nagging at the back of his mind or when trying to recall an important detail.
Confident - Like most young men, Logan is rather confident though it's not to the point where one would call it cocky. He knows he's a good fighter, he knows he is smart and he is not afraid to enjoy such qualities about himself. It's perhaps why he is also stubborn, a rather big flaw when it comes to the young man.
Three personality flaws: Quick to temper - Logan is one who will not fight without reason, however, he is still easy to goad into a fight. It is a trait he is attempting to work on, but despite his efforts he is failing rather horrible at doing so. Logically he knows that this is a downfall but if someone can get beneath his skin it doesn't take much to have Logan's full attention...for better or worse.
Loner - Due to his past, Logan has no desire to make a long list of friends. He is afraid they will hold him back or even cause him to become distracted from whatever his desires are at that moment. Because of this, some can find him to be rather off putting and 'hateful' despite he doesn't tend to be. Of course, this could be because of his lack of socialization skills when he was younger.
Stubborn - Logan may not always be right, but he will be damned if he ever admitted it out loud to anyone. He likes his ways, they work 90% of the time and have kept him alive up to this point. Why should he change them because someone else believes some lucid idea that is not his own? If you can get Logan to change his mind, it is a miracle in itself.
- History - Past - Like most, he had an unnatural childhood that moved into complicated teenage years. His parents where extremely rooted into the concepts shared by Team Progress and when he was a child, they too would attempt to force their ideas and concepts into Logan. As most children tend to do, he listened and obeyed, studied and worked with his hands in the soil. Yet something never seemed right with the stories and with the passing of time, he found himself starting to question everything. Why couldn't they work together with the Pokemon? Why should they fear them? Is this truly what Arceus wanted? Such questions were quite large for one who was barely eight, but by the time he was nine he found his world upside down regardless.
Alcohol tends to bring out the worst in all of us and it was no different when it came to Logan's father. It was a rather intense night when Logan came home to find his father quite intoxicated and yelling at his mother for their son's downfalls. Why wasn't he more like them? It was her fault he was so damn curious. It was her fault for allowing him to sneak off and play with other children from outside of their establishment and not forcing him to study, to learn, to thrive. Like most young boys, Logan attempted to step the fight between his parents and like most young heroes, found himself severely beaten for his attempts to interfere.
If he learned anything that night it was that first, he would learn to fight and to defend himself, and second, he would never allow something as simple as alcohol to alter his way of thinking. Shortly after, he left his home and sought to find a new life. His parents ways were not his own and he wouldn't allow others to instill their beliefs upon him. As Logan moved from place to place, he learned to fight and defend himself. He learned there was profit from 'gladiator' style battles or even fighting just to entertain others. Money meant food and food meant he survived. This has became his life and though he should perhaps stop along the path to figure out what more he would want aside from fighting, he hasn't either found the time to do so...or is to scared to truly give it any reflection at all.- Pokemon - Nyx • Gender - Female • Species - Gastly • Personality -
Mischievous - True to her species, Nyx enjoys causing a little trouble here and there. Though she will listen to Logan when he advises her against this, Nyx finds herself tempted most when she becomes bored. Most of her 'tricks' are harmless enough though have been known to cost quite a penny to repair.
Protective - Surprisingly, Nyx is overly protective of Logan and often is joked that she has a crush on her trainer. Be this true or not, Logan often chalks this behavior to the fact that he saved the Ghastly and she feels obligated to try and protect him as much as he does her.
Defensive - Logan often teases Nyx that she is to much like a human woman, especially when she is easily offended when it comes to those critiquing her. The ghastly will either disappear or shun those she has taken offence to and makes it quite a task to regain her attention in the future. Only once has Logan truly insulted the Ghastly and he claims it took many sweets to gain her favor once more.
- Relations - None at the Moment
