Eobard ran towards where he saw the starfish falling. He began to run back and forth, knocking people down, trying to avoid the falling aliens. "This has ruined my trip..." Snapping his fingers and sending a boom at some of the jumping aliens. He ran and stood by Lee. "Run and don't get touched." He kept running, avoiding the jumping aliens. "Missed!" He kept running around, trying to keep the collectives attention. Running around the edge of the park to keep the enslaved people in. From time to time he send a shockwave or boom at the people, knocking them back further. "Come one Luthor.... where are you and that yellow ringed girl." He kept running, trying to make a barrier.

On her way over to Queensland Park, Evelyn saw a cloud of the little pseudo starfish headed back towards LexCorp. Well, that wouldn't do, would it? So as she passed by them, she created a large net construct and gathered as many of them up in one sweep as she could, then sealing it up into a bubble so they couldn't escape. Hopefully she didn't miss too many. With the package in tow, she continued on to the park, where she could already see the yellow speedster and another person trying to deal with the invaders.

And the fear, oh, could she feel the fear! Those that hadn't been... possessed, she supposed, were running and screaming in terror, trying to escape the five-armed horrors. The resulting power rush was enough to make her giddy. Not enough to lose her wits, though. Her ring had told her enough about Starro to make her wary about getting too close without first putting on some sort of helmet to protect herself from being possessed like these poor civilians.

Speaking of which, she needed to do something about that. After all, it would be much easier to destroy these little creatures if they didn't have to worry about accidentally blasting a civilian in the face. From what the ring told her, Starros needed direct contact with their victim to control them, so logic dictated that if she were to place something between them and their victim's face, they'd lose their hold on the host. With this in mind, she flew over to a group of children who'd been playing on the playground and carefully created a thin film-like construct between their faces and the Starros controlling them, quickly disconnecting the strange starfish and bubbling them up to add to the large bubble she'd already gathered on the way here.

If this was successful, she'd go around and continue her work, hovering above the crowd's reach as she freed the women and children first, adding more and more Starros to her hoard as she hummed a cheery tune. Periodically, though, she would create sharp spikes and blades inside the bubble and then drastically shrink its size and set it to spinning, like a blender, impaling and pulverizing the captured Starros into a paste. She doubted they could regenerate from that.

Eobard flew a bit as the beam hit him. Sighing as he was surrounded and a second set fell from the skies he did what he did best, he ran. He wasn't going to hold still, not long enough to get blasted. It was a uniting threat as the kid he stopped to talk to ended up being Beast Boy. He would knock the people out, killing would not have looked good at all. As a few fell down he would send sonic booms, the first layer would have died and the rest disoriented until the effect wore off. "HOW MANY OF THESE THINGS ARE THERE?" He kept running, spinning and rolling to avoid jumpers. As the Yellow Lantern was ripping them off of faces he would move the knocked out ones in a line for her. "Scrap and try to catch, I'll try to keep it contained or knock people out!" He shouted as he made a little tornado so he could talk without getting jumped. With his speed and that got close burned since they didn't have his shielding. He began to ran around the perimeter, knocking the aliens and people back. He'd seen Barry do it for tsunami's, and being faster than that speedster he replicated the barrier.

Today had been a nice day, Kira had gotten an iced mocha latte and a few possible cover jobs all in all a great day to relax. Then things took a nasty turn as she heard screams and a strange cloud falling upon the Queensland Park. Utilizing her speed and open balcony Kira quickly changed into her old S.T.A.R. labs training armor* before taking off. Flying towards the ruckus Superwoman noticed a second wave of those things heading for the Daily Planet, well now that won't do I've got an interview there in the morning. With this in mind she made a beeline for the front of the hoard, taking a deep breath she blew them back towards the park with gale force winds, it's easier if these things are in a single area. Fallowing the hoard Superwoman began frying up some calamari with her heat vision, if these things wanted to ruin her day they'd get no mercy.


Arriving at Queensland Park, Kira took in the scene; a green boy, a yellow glow stick, a guy in yellow and red long underwear, and finally a man with the the symbol for the house of El that could only be the "new Superman" all of whom were fighting these strange star fish. Is that just a human in a fancy suit? She wondered before returning her attention to the fish fry, leaving the fish attached to faces for those on the ground. While heat vision seemed to work Kira knew she couldn't keep it indefinitely, it was a very taxing ability. She had to come up with a contingency plan for these things.

It was pandemonium in the park as the hero and villains did battle against the waves of Starro. It seemed for every 1 person the heroes managed to free several more would be retaken. In fact some of the more recently free civilians would be retaken rising up to take on the interlopers.

The first threat to deal with was that blasted Yellow Lantern. Through They had already formed a plan. As they were grabbed up and blended together they remained tiny and squishy and after a few moments when they were being squished together a gelatin meaty mass. They began to squirm and press against another. The outer wall would harden making the yellow construct blender in effective and shortly they would press. A warped and warbled laugh/roar rumble would emanate from the construct before 4 tentacle arms pressed and broke through the construct before the tiny starfish tentacle hands and feet formed at the end. At the breach points crack began to crawl along the construct before finally it to exploded letting giant mutated starro creature fall to the ground. As it landed the remaining Starros stopped fighting and all came and joined the giant creature allowing it to grow in size until it was atleast 30 feet tall giant beast of a creature.

It shook itself off before looking up at the yellow Lantern, Lex and Superwoman with it's big eye before firing a massive concussive beam, swinging the beam in a giant arc in an attempt to catch all 3 flying heroes in the sweeping blast. It carried the combined energy of dozens if not hundreds of mini starros and had enough power to punch holes through skyscrapers if it hit the lantern.The creature was not amused and did not care about weakening anymore. It would destroy the villains and heroes around it.

Meanwhile without turning his head hits arms launched out stretching out like tree trunk whips arcing across the ground they were aimed to sweep up both Professor Zoom and Beast Boy in a massive tentacle slap aimed to send them sailing through the park.

Starro had changed he no longer cared for domination, now It would settle for annihilation.

Well, ********. Apparently blending the little bastards up wasn't enough to kill them. Gritting her teeth in annoyance, Evelyn tried her best to keep the creature contained, but to no avail as it eventually burst through and formed into an even larger monstrosity... before deciding to fire a massive concussive beam.

Luckily, Luthor managed to hold the beam back, giving her time to figure out what to do. Looking around, she quickly laid her golden eyes on the Kryptonian woman. And in that moment, she had an idea. "Hey! Cutie in the cape! Your can use your heat vision or something to destroy that thing, right? I can power you up so it doesn't drain you too much," she called out, quickly bathing the Kryptonian in a beam of yellow energy to do just that. "Make it quick though, I don't know how long my ring's charge will last while I'm doing this!"
