Situated atop one of the most luxurious building in Metropolis, lies the Penthouse of Julio Rivera. Formerly belonging to one of the higher ups of the League of Assassins, Julio Rivera has now claimed the Penthouse as his own living space and given that the former owner is now dead, no one can deny him the Penthouse. The Penthouse is equipped with state of the art technology, some of which has been stolen from the likes of Wayne Enterprises in order to boost the security within the Penthouse. The Penthouse holds three bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, two bathrooms, a study (usually occupied by Owlman), a computer Room (Hacker's Den - occupied by Julio), a washer and dryer set, and a spare room filled to the brim with weapons collected and used by Julio. The windows of the Penthouse have also been replaced with bulletproof windows, comprised of high-density polymerized titanium and much like his catsuit does, allows the windows to take several bullets from heavy artillery before shattering. Furthermore, he has since made modifications to the security system that will only open the doors to the Penthouse once the sensors can pick up on his brain waves. Living within the Penthouse are Julio, his little brother Jorge, and the newest addition to their little family Thomas Wayne Jr aka Owlman.

                                    It's truly an assassin's paradise.

I'm Cursed By The Vengeful Spirits : Of Oldex

Having parked their motorcycles within a separate garage, accessible only by them, the two males entered the building's express elevator before riding straight to the Penthouse floor. Stepping over the threshold, he took a few steps before coming upon a large metal door. With but a thought the door slid sideways in order to reveal the inside of the Penthouse that Julio had claimed for himself. Immediately after the door opened a small set of arms wrapped around his waist. Smiling almost immediately, he picked the small boy up and into his arms before stepping further into the Penthouse so that Tommy could enter as well. "I'm happy to see you too hermano, but it's homework time. Get to it." And so the boy jumped down from his arms with a sigh before disappearing up the set of stairs that led to his room.

Placing the duffel bag down and onto the ground, he moved into Tommy's study before plopping into the seat. The USB from his belt was pulled out before being plugged into the PC. Several screens popped up immediately and Julio began reading through them just as quickly as they appeared before his eyes. "What's your endgame Tommy? You essentially have control over Kord Tower and all of the information that Oracle kept locked away within her office." Surface thoughts were easier to detect than subconscious ones, so Julio had some semblance of an idea as to what the older male was planning. However, surface thoughts could only take him but so far in the grand scheme of things. Furthermore, extracting information out of another person's head was not a painless process. After all, being self-taught had to have its disadvantages. So he figured he'd ask before the older male put on that troublesome cowl and blocked out his telepathy. "What's your endgame here?"

The male insisted he was slow, but maybe he was just taking his time to let the runt catch up? Who knew, but what was known was that he had what he needed. Did it matter if said consequence could result in the loss getting back into the Batcave? Inconsequential data to him, to say the least, for it did not matter. Nothing mattered with him or maybe that was a lie as he rode up the elevator with Julio.

The elevator chimed and there the youth was before his younger brother having reunited from a small venture to Gotham. Thomas's head tilted quizzically, observing silently like an...well...owl. He was not repulsed in the slightest at the sight. It reminded him of his youth when Bruce was still alive. He took his bags off when Julio sent the other male on his way, going to the Study to begin drawing up plans where his suit rested behind a closet.

"The answer should be obvious," he stated without a care in the world. It was ideal, complex and simplistic all at the same time. "Crime can be easily organized under a collective whole. Bringing that here where most can profit is idea. It roots out several issues that most lack the heart to change."

He needed no backdoor as he had what he needed the years prior in the moment of absence. He just liked to watch from time to time, curiously, like an owl. Truth be told with those kind of systems, it would only take him minutes to break in and out. One thing that could not be denied was blood after all. If the results rang true then they simply would chime everywhere. What was he really after? Well, that remained to be determined, but it appeared in front of the computer screen from the files and programs he had stolen and Julio himself could see it as well: The Legion of Doom. He yawned slightly.

"But what, I ask, does this Telepathic Assassin have for his own end goal?"

Turning his head slightly, he watched as the male moved through the study, his focus seemingly returning as he did so. "Should it?" The files he had taken from Oracle's computer were successfully moved onto the PC before he safely ejected it and slid the USB back into his utility belt. The male's response was as bland as he could have imagined but he wouldn't question the male or his intentions any further. But then he asked his own question of Julio, one of which he could only laugh at in response. "Now that should be obvious even to one such as yourself Tommy." Jumping down from the desk, he strode across the study in order to pick up the tv remote that remained in the same position on the small couch where he had left it.

Returning to the desk now, he jumped up and onto it, carefully moving both papers and books to the side of him in order to get comfortable. "My "goal" as always, is my own survival. The heroes of our world pride themselves on being able to save lives and conversely, the villains on taking lives. I like to make sure I, and my little brother, survive no matter what. If I cannot survive, I will make sure my little brother survives at all costs..That is my only goal and it will always remain my goal." It was after he finished speaking that he caught a quick migraine. Clutching his head in pain, he stopped all movements before breathing out calmly. The tv was turned on and all over the news were reports of an invasion as pictures showed images of a large starfish. "Have you ever encountered a Psychic Starfish on your Earth? Because that thing, or maybe even the little ones, just gave me the biggest dose of psychic backlash I've ever had in my life." Granted, it was more like victims of the starfish all mentally screaming at once before they lost control of their physical functions, but still. "Whatever Starro is, if it seems like a threat that won't be stopped, I'm taking my little brother and we're leaving. All so that we can, say it with me now, survive. Does that answer your question?" True to his word, he didn't care for helping others without some form of a reason. In the end you could only really count on yourself anyways. That was why the people of Metropolis were always doomed to come under attack. They relied too much on their "heroes" and were only left with death and destruction when their "heroes" failed to save them.

"New question for you; If you're going to organize crime you're going to need more help than just me, right? Where is this help going to come from? You plan on starting up another Syndicate on this Earth?" Referring to another Earth was still a weird concept to him and one that he truthfully wished he had remained oblivious to. "If that is the plan, how are you gonna go about recruiting members to your cause?" Despite having asked the question, he figured the male had a plan thought out already as to how to garner support for his cause.

Did that answer dissatisfy Julio? He did not have to say for Thomas to see the blank stare almost as if the answer he had very well given was just blank in existence. It was true all the same, however. Thomas had no means of changing some of his end goals. If he had his way, everything would fall according to plan in due time. There were reasons for the cautionary approach after all. If Julio had probed inside of his mind, he would know what was coming, if it was coming at least. He wouldn't doubt it.

"It's not bad to want to think of survival first. I did what I had to, after all."He walked towards his suit, the sounds of mechanics whirring on the gun he carried in his hand after leaving the table. He was making a few calibrations to his equipment, one that got him in proper attuning with this Earth. The lights on the device flickered on as the menacing eyes to the chrome plated mask flickered to life with a moonlit gaze, like an owl."I wouldn't think so gloomily though. That's my job and all things considered, you and him are safe."

He left it for Julio to discern what he meant about the last part as clothes were cast off his body and a buff masculine form underneath the discarded fabrics. Everything was gone, save for the underwear of course. He reached for a spandex like material, a mesh of D30 and thin Kevlar, putting it over his body before the main suit itself. The collapsible mask opened forth with mechanical whirrings as it greeted his face and fittted accurately around him with no complications. Before Julio was now Owlman and any hope to pry into that mind of his were now gone.

He was prepping his gear when the text arrived. Unlike the Bat, a smile formed across his face instantly. During that time frame, that was when the television itself turned on, most likely the work of Julio himself as he noticed the male clutching his head, either a possibility of a headache or the throbbing aura of a migraine. Possibly the latter given the matter of which he rubbed a certain part of it as well as the fact that he was breathing himself to a calm. The male was relaxed now, but it was clear this Starro thing was a problem. What would he do?

"There was indeed such a creature, the last of it's kind, sure enough,"he explained."It came down to Metropolis almost identically as it did now, looking to procreate and create an infinite unity. Kal and Lois fried them to oblivion and had its remains for dinner. The weak had a problem surviving there with them. That also brings up the point you've stated about recruiting: It's already handled. You aren't the only person so far. Just the only person I'd rather be around presently."

His ex, Lois Lane of Earth-3, he would rather not be around if he could help it, but they were still working together for the greater good after all. Ultraman had yet to surface as well as the others. For now, he could only keep moving forward. That meant securing the base of operations for those that would be recruited and among other things, more careful planning.

"Chaos is beginning to let itself out upon us. That means our window of opportunity is now. I'll be heading to LexCorp, but maybe there's something worth your time, Juli, at Star Labs. Perhaps something there could help with your current predicament with Starro. Maybe, you might find something else. See what you can find there. My associate and I will over LexCorp and of course, another beneficial reward will be in store for you. Now..."

He opened the window, revealing the cityscape below, the sounds of sirens, panic and despair flooding his ears. The gun he carried changed it's function. He aimed it upwards and fired it off, rope attached to it as it landed on another building with a magnetic click to it keeping it bound tightly, this grappling hook entirely different from Batman's.

"Would you like to go by bike or soar through the air and imitate flight? It's not that big of a deal for me, but I hear it is for others."

He would only extend his hand out for Julio to join him if he was coming along that way. If not, he would already make his journey onward. The gun pulling him upwards to the highest point of the building it attached itself too with brilliant speed so much that when detached the magnetic hook, the momentum propelled him upwards into the sky. With his cape drawn like thinly webbed wings, he glided through the air, his destination LexCorp.
