George's modest apartment is a one bedroom, one bathroom place that George now lives at after resigning from the SEALs and being back in American Society. The rent is pretty reasonable, and with his job in construction and check from the Government, he manages to make a modest living.

Green Lantern Where: Home Company: Liand'r Thoughts: Liand'r. Taking note of the name for future reference Equipment: George was incredibly thankful that his apartment complex has a balcony that he can easily land on with an extra passenger in tow. Those were rare when it comes to someone renting a place and he was thankful he managed to get an apartment with a good view of the sea. Landing on the balcony, he dispelled the bubble so Liand'r can get out and look around at where his friend was living as George opened the balcony door so that he can get in. That apartment was pretty modest, but at least Liand'r had somewhere to stay.
"" George started, ""
George then went into his room where he hunted around for anything Liand'r can wear. The problem was the Tamaranean was much smaller than George, so good luck fitting in anything that a man of George's build can wear. Luckily, George managed to at least find a shirt that he hadn't worn in a long time that looked like it could fit Liand'r without any issue, at the very least he can cover up half of his current choice of clothes.
In the process, he also found his Lantern and decided now was a good time to charge his ring. Liand'r would see Green light shine from within his room, and by the time he came out, George nodded in acceptance that things were going pretty good. He tossed Liand'r the plain black shirt he did find and sheepishly smiled, ""
Then they are going to have a talk on what happened. No matter what happens, George won't turn the alien in as he hasn't hurt anybody yet. Besides, Earth has had a lot of friendly aliens, maybe Liand'r won't be any different.

Liand'r stepped onto the balcony of George's apartment. It was a lot smaller than he expected. Maybe this world didn't treat him with as much reverence as he initially expected. That or he wasn't one to live above those he protected, but rather live among them. It seemed more like that was the case. He walked in and looked around the apartment while George went into his room to rummage for clothes for him to wear. The Green Lantern was quite a bit bigger than him, so all of his clothes would be more than likely incredibly loose on him. Not that he minded either way, it would be something fresh to wear after weeks of being stuck in coasting space ship. “Beats where I've been sleeping for the past few weeks.” Liand'r shrugged, taking the clothes with him as he followed the instructions to the restroom. It took him a while before he figured out how the shower worked. It was a bit different than he was used to, but he got it figured out. It was nice to get cleaned up after spending weeks stewing in his own filth after fighting. The power in the ship was out so there was no way he could've done anything while he was there. And falling in the ocean didn't really help. He picked up the bar in the dish and looked it over curiously. There were several bottles on the ledge of the tub that he only imagined were different soaps. He sniffed the bar he was holding and took a small bite out of it, against his better judgment. It was most certainly not food, nor was it delicious. It dawned on him that the bar was supposed to be used to clean himself, not some sort of bath food. That was foolish on his part. After his shower he changed into George's spare clothes. They fit well enough. Even his smallest clothes fit a little loose on the younger Tamaranean. The Lantern was an entire foot taller than him, so that much was to be expected. He left the bathroom, drying his hair with the towel that was available to him, smiling to himself. It felt good to be clean and get the smell of sweat, dingy salt water and blood off of him. He stepped back into the living room with a beaming smile, over joyed to be clean. “Sorry I was in there for so long. Hope it's not a problem.” He apologized. “So, what'd you make!?" He asked excitedly. "I may have... Eaten something I shouldn't have... Kinda hoping to wash the taste out.” Liand'r mumbled, glancing off to the side.

Green Lantern Where: Home Company: Liand'r Thoughts: You didn't just eat the soap did you? Equipment: While Liand'r was taking a shower that he hadn't done for several weeks (and George can tell), George went to making something for the alien to eat. Right now, all he knows is that the kid liked hot dogs and mustard, so he was basically cooking a few dogs for the guy, with some fries in the oven.
When Liand'r did come back in, asking what was cooking, and that he needed to wash the taste out of his mouth, George had an idea, "" he asked as he went into the fridge to grab a soda for Liand'r and went over to to set the cola on the counter, "" the timer then went off and George went over to get the fries out of the oven, putting the dogs and fries together on a plate before serving it, setting out the mustard and ketchup, "" he says, pointing to the fries when he talks about them.
Going back to the table, he looks over at Liand'r and sighs, ""

“I may or may not have eaten the soap.” Liand'r stated, sitting at the table and starting to eat the food that George had made for him. It was nice to be clean and have food. The drink the Lantern gave him was sweet. He loved sweet things. “Um...” He began when told he could ask any question he wanted about Earth. “I guess, what would there be for me to do?” Liand'r questioned, taking some of the ketchup on his fries. It tasted kind of sweet, but he would admit he preferred the mustard. Maybe he could mix them together. He thought about it for about half a second before he tried it. “I mean, I don't look like anyone here. At least not that I know of, so I'd stand out pretty easily.” He said, stirring his ketchup and mustard together with a fry before eating it. “I didn't really see any... Non-Earthy people when I was out there. Even you're and Earth guy, or you look like one, so how exactly would I fit in...?” He asked. It wasn't so much that he was worried the people would attack or hate him. More so that it didn't appear that the world was diverse enough for people to want to interact with him. “Also, I can't speak this planet's language.” Liand'r mentioned. “I mean, I could, but it would probably be frowned upon how I do it. Unless some girl was willing to let me.” He mumbled. “Anyway... Yeah, I guess... That's the biggest question I have about this place. Where do I go from here? I mean, it's not like I'm looking to go anywhere. I'm more than happy trying to make a place for myself here. Just not sure how well I could do it. Unless people need some heavy lifting done, I'm not sure what all I could do.” Liand'r shrugged. “Not sure how much you can do about that.” Liand'r admitted, taking a handful of fries and dipping it in his ketchup/mustard mixture before stuffing it in his mouth. “I know that's a lot to ask for someone who literally just got here.” He added, washing the entire mouthful of food down with the soda.

Green Lantern Where: Home Company: Liand'r Thoughts: Yeah, you have a point Equipment: Indeed, that is a pretty large list of questions from someone who just got here. George listened to his concerns, and he knew the alien had a point. He did need a job, that much is certain. The pressing issue is that he doesn't seem to have a huge skill set beyond 'Lift large things'. At least on first glance. Plus, he doesn't speak English, and George can't be around all the time to translate for him. After a bit of thinking, George had the best answers he could think of to help this kid out.
"" he then chuckles, ""
George leaned back in his chair and watched Liand'r mix mustard and ketchup together, something he hasn't seen done since he was a kid back in his hometown, ""

Liand'r nodded, listening to George while finishing off his food. Hearing that there were other aliens on Earth lifted his spirit a little. Especially hearing that there were other Tameraneans. He hadn't seen anyone from his home in years. Not since his, incident. Aside from that, he barely knew what a Kryptonian was, and he'd never heard of a martian. Sounded made up to him. As for learning through television, that sounded fun. From what is sounded like, it was similar to the entertainment videos they had on the ship. That and the way they communicated. Either way, it sounded like a fun way to try and learn. Then came the question he was hoping to avoid. The topic of how he got there. He sighed heavily, figuring it best to just come out with it instead of making up a story. He never was any good at lying. “Well... I crashed... In a pirate ship.” Liand'r began. “It... They... Attacked our ship. I fought back to save our ship, but I got stuck. The ship got shifted off course in the fight and was headed here. I'm not sure how long I was stuck drifting after that. But it was a long time, I could tell that much.” He continued, water involuntarily welling in his eyes. “Now I'm separated from really the only friends I've had....” He sniffed, wiping a tear from his eye. “Sorry. Not that we Tamaraneans are afraid of our emotions. Just... I couldn't if I tried.” Liand'r admitted, covering his face. “Not after what they did to me.”The shift from sad to angry was sudden. His hands clenched, cracking the arm of the chair and crushing the can in his hand. His eyes started to glow, green mist rising from them. “The Psions! The Reach!” He growled through gritted teeth, the glowing in his eyes intensifying. Liand'r covered his eyes, feeling himself starting to lose control. “It's ok... It's ok... You aren't there anymore...” Liand'r whispered to himself. “Do you... Mind if I go watch TV? I need to, relax.”

Green Lantern Where: Home Company: Liand'r Thoughts: Note to self: don't bring that up Equipment: George instantly regretted his decision to ask about what happened. On the plus side, he understands what is going on and how he got here, and it was pretty tragic. On the other hand, he was about ready to trap Liand'r if he felt he was about to attack him, but thankfully he calmed himself down before any serious damage was done, save for some damage to his chair. But it was okay, he was calm now, and George sighed in relief.
Still, the Psions and the Reach are the people that hurt him, and at least The Reach and the Green Lantern Corps doesn't like each other and in fact pretty much attack each other on sight. When Liand'r asked if he could watch TV, George nodded and told him, "" before he looked over and created a human sized hand construct to grab the remote and brought back to him, pointing to the important controls for him to operate it, "
George took his sudden switch from sad to angry in stride, but he will not mention Psions or The Reach unless he absolutely has to. He will wait for Liand'r to acknowledge he will be going out again, and actually should try to teach him how to use a phone so he can contact him.

Liand'r let out a heavy sigh, looking down at the chair. He didn't mean to lose it like that. “I'm sorry about your chair. I know you didn't mean to bring that up.” Liand'r apologized. “Sometimes, most of the time, I can't control my anger.” He added looking at his hand, now covered in what was left of the soda. “So, I try to focus on not being angry at all.” Liand'r sighed. Once again his mood shifted, this time from somber to happy when George brought the remote. He took the remote from and listened intently as he was told how to make it work. He had never actually been in charge of operating any of the devices that were similar, so it was fascinating to him. He nodded his appreciation to George for telling him how to do it. He tilted his head curiously when the Lantern said he was going to go out again. “Alright.” Liand'r replied, standing from the chair and wiping the soda from his hand. He walked over to the couch excitedly and sat down, turning on the television, rapidly flicking through channels to find something interesting to watch. “Have fun out on patrol. I hope everything goes well!” Liand'r called cheerfully as he continued to flip through channels, every now and then stopping on something that would catch his attention, however briefly. “Quick question; How am I supposed to contact you if I need something?” Liand'r asked, trying to catch the Lantern before he left the apartment.

Green Lantern Where: Home Company: Liand'r Thoughts: Oh right, that is a necessity Equipment: He was glad that Liand'r could figure things out quickly, and hopefully some time in front of the television would help him unwind after his outburst. George had never seen such outrage from one being before, not since his simulations fighting Atrocitus' Red Lanterns, who are powered by Rage. George was not mad about the chair, he didn't totally destroy it, so it is still functional. But as he was about to leave to go on patrol, Liand'r brought up a very good point: how can he contact George if he has an issue.
For that George went over to the phone and picked it up, showing Liand'r it and handing it over, holding his finger over the one button and telling him, "" he answered, opening the balcony door and stepping out, "" he said as he rose up in the air and began leaving back to the city.
