Hey everyone! You are welcome to talk about the game series in here. I can't wait to hear everyone's opinions about the games.

I'm personally surprised there is a twitter Dragon Age RP (which I'm taking part in). I have this major obsession over Cullen Rutherford. It sounds totally sad but it is so true. Oh! I also hope to make a sub thread for the RP's to keep things organized.

explodingelephunky Has anyone listened to the QGN Dragon Age OTR podcast? I personally have not. Nor have I read the books though I want to even though they won't follow through the game plays I have done. I didn't know they had podcasts till recently actually.

Have fun with that. I found some books and graphic novels for the Dragon Age series. The books were about Merric.

If I remember correctly they were. I saw three books one was the Magekiller as well and another was about Celine. Oh! I guess that makes four books. I didn't read them, I was hoping it was about Alister and whoever or possibly something for later in the series, but I guess they have to catch people up on what happened before the fifth blight.

There are 5 novels and 2 comic series right now. The Stolen Throne (Maric and Loghain first meet and fight the Orlesians), The Calling (Maric, Duncan, and Fiona in the Deep Roads), The Masked Empire (the one about Celine), Asunder (the introduction of Cole and what happened to start the "official" mage rebellion), and Stolen Flight (all new characters and the only novel not written by either David Gaider or Patrick Weekes) are the novels; Magekiller (mage hunters from Tevinter cross the wrong person) and Until We Sleep (Isabela and Varric joining King Alistair to search for Maric; it's the title for the whole series as well as the 3rd volume of the series) are the comic series. I own all the novels but I don't have any of the comics yet, I'm hoping my local comic shop has them or will pick them up (support local business, yo!).

I know Barnes and Noble carries them. That's where I saw the books and comic that I found. If they made a book about Cullen I would read it because he was a character that has been in all the games and also has been through a lot of character development. I'm sure your local comic book store carries them though. especially if it's one of those that do the magic the gathering or those card games with collector figurines.

Yeah, Cullen has been through so much, I'd love to read a story about him, maybe with his family too.

Yes, that actually would be nice ssince we don't know much about his family besides the fact he has a brother and two sisters. We know nothing about his parents. Actually we don't really know much of anything about him.

It's been long enough since I read World of Thedas vol. 2 that I don't really remember what it said about Cullen. The main thing I remember besides his siblings is that he grew up in Honnleath. Where Shale was. I would have loved some nod to that in Origins, for real. X3

In Inquisition we also learn he's from Honnleath since he admitted that while you're getting to know him. I would love to learn about his parents though. Basically his linage of where he came from. For all we know he could have a noble in the family who decided to throw away his or her birth right for someone and become a farmer. We never know.
