So in a staff update yesterday (1/26), Lanzer alluded to some mystery LK projects that lionheart720 has been working on, as well as a fix to selling problems that some of us have been facing. So let's put on our tinfoil hats and speculate: what could he be working on? His journal is set to private, so there aren't any clues there. His post history is minimal and, again, offers no clues. So what? Will he be introducing roast beef sandwiches to the game? Adding in the oft-requested chat feature? Letting us dress up in our kin in cutesy, potentially humiliating outfits?
Also, lion gif. Just 'cause.

I honestly have no idea. I'm leaning towards the chat feature, myself, even though I wouldn't use it. So many people have requested it, and a multi-player option, that I just see it being implemented sooner than some other suggestions.
Although outfits would be fun. Silly, utterly pointless, and unlikely to happen (especially since I'm pretty sure no one has recommended this), but fun nonetheless. I would totally further humiliate my male Pumperilla by giving him a hair bow. rofl
And has anyone else noticed that the admin avatar is wearing a hardhat and holding a mallet?

And Im thinking maybe they'll try some social aspect to the game. Maybe make it so you can show your kin off in towns? Do people still use towns? ;;
Or! Maybe more f****in splicing would be nice!!!

Yes. Splicing would be awesome. I'm still hoping for mutants, but at this point I'd even be happy to see simple recolors. We could have a floral-themed recolor shard. Pinks and purples and greens maybe?

Flowery colors for the upcoming spring would be nice. Give lake kindred a nice feeling to it 4laugh

I saw that Lanzer mentioned that the update will make the kins more unique on the last AtS and I instantly thought "hell yeah, our kins will have personality!" emotion_dowant
I'm hoping lionheart720 is also working on the Valentine's event, no idea what's going to be about since it seems we're gonna have an AIs war as an event before or something? Super lost lately with these robots tbh rofl

splicing is the way to go or recolour but that's how they make money, my wife took hours but finally got the Watermeat Kin out of the last event.

I haven't been active in LK and this Guild but I really hope they do make a chat system so I don't get bored easily when the need to grind(heh) arises

Huh. More unique. I wonder what that might mean. Maybe kin of the same type (i.e., all leafkit or all cubdrop) will have different stats? That would be kind of odd, though. A lot of kin would likely end up trashed if they had so-so stats then.
But, yeah, I agree. The whole Galexa/Moto-IQ battle right now has me rather confused. Still, robot kin would be kind of cool! I don't get the tie-in to Valentine's day, but that's okay.

Me too. I could've sworn that I saw someone mention having gotten a tentative confirmation from Lanzer about a beach area, but I don't see anything in his post history. Still, I'm hopeful. I'd love to see more aquatic kin.

No idea what's going to bring the next update tbh, but I need it ASAP!!! gonk Yeah, seems like these robots are our next event, but Valentine's a little too close for that, so I'm really confused haha. I hope splicing gets an update and we get a couple of new shards, one free and the other to pay maybe, we're talking about Valentine's so that'd make sense! As for the chat system, would be nice to get one...I wonder how hard it'd be to make it real tho sweatdrop
