Having been through quite a lot in her life, Layilme has finally been able to find her mate and get her family and her life back together. All of her trials have worn the lioness down a bit, but they've also made her very introspective and sensitive to the troubles of others. She generally tends to be quiet around anyone but those in her own family, but is always willing to listen to others' troubles or give gentle advice.

Layilme met up with a male who seems to have quite a bit of problems. For one thing, he's insane - or a part of him is. It remains to be seen where this could go...
Layilme has met several other creatures over time - these include other lions, a maned wolf, and even a God. The lioness Phye'li is her friend.
Layilme and Mor'faerion have become mates and had two cubs together. Then, one of these cubs was stolen away.
While on her own looking for her lost son, Layil had a one-night run in with another male lion which resulted in two more cubs. The lioness felt terrible about betraying her mate to begin with ...and then, to make matters worse, one of those cubs was stolen from her.
So, for a long time, she thought of herself as a horrible mate and mother and was very depressed. But finally, she was reunited with Mor'faerion and he forgave her - even telling her that they would raise her remaining son as their own.

Chiamaka is a very level-headed and likable girl. She's an utter sweetheart, quick the believe the best of anyone that she meets. She does have her silly moments, but if something serious is going on, she can snap out of it quickly. Motherhood seems to have settled her even more, and she absolutely adores her entire family.

As a young cub, Chiamaka wandered off from her parents and somehow ended up in the Pridelands. There, she met Zuri and the two of them became friends.
After this, Chiamaka was more or less raised by Ayo'obi, and still stays with him now. Earlier, she had told him that she would never fall in love, because it was "gross".
Some time later, Chia was attacked by a demon lioness when she wandered too close to their pride lands. She ran home crying to Ayo, and that night, the two of them realized their feelings for one another...
Ayo and Chia have a family now! Though of course, nothing is ever simple of easy, not with these two.

Maer'ksh is an extremely vicious young demoness. She fully enjoys tormenting anything and anyone she can get her paws on. There also seems to be something ... very wrong in her head. She talks in odd speech patterns, not one really ever the same, and jumps from one thing to another quite randomly.

Mear'ksh was not too difficult as a young cub, but she hardly ever spoke and simply glared at everyone about her incessantly, as if plotting to kill them.
As a juvenile, she followed her mother around everywhere, learning all that the older lioness would teach about pain and hurting other creatures.
As an adult, Mear'ksh has, if anything, gotten worse in her attitude toward others and he tendencies to hurt things. She absolutely loves causing pain and delights in blood and screams.

Sesere is actually quite meek for a demon - not really having the right temperament at all. But she does have the right sort of colors and body build... so her father doesn't intend to let her escape. After Sesere and some of her siblings are taken to the Aikanaro'hini, Iar manipulates her to listen only to him and do anything and everything she says.
And Sesere, not knowing what else to do, obeys him without question. She has very little will or opinion of her own, and won't for a long while.

Iartuupe went to where Posca and her cubs were staying and claimed most of them as his own - taking them back with him to the demons.
Ever since they arrived in the demon lands, Sesere has been lonely and afraid... She doesn't feel at all as if she is a demon herself. But at the same time, she's afraid of her father and so does whatever he says a "good" demon should do, without question.

Konani has always been a very curious and inquisitive girl. She likes to watch things, and find out stuff. She loves listening to stories of the past and how things came to be. She also loves mysteries and puzzles of any type and can be extremely tenacious in clinging to a subject (sometimes for months or even years) until she finds the answers. However, she's also smart enough to know when to back off and try again later. She won't knowingly put herself directly into the path of danger to find something out. Though she WILL most definitely skirt the edges. Other than that, she's bright and friendly to just about everyone and sometimes can be a little... hyper. Especially when she's on the trail of something.

Konani came from a small group of lions - not really big enough to be called a pride - that lived along the shores of the sea. At one point they had been a pride, but the plague that ravaged Africa in the past shrank their numbers so severely that they may never recover. Also, as a result of this, the group shunned any mention of their past - not speaking of it, and refusing to tell stories of that time to the young, if they asked. They also discouraged such questions, sometimes even casting out cubs who asked too many of them.
However, Konani was smart enough not to let this happen to her - though she did want answers. She was always a curious cub and she liked to push the limits. She would ask questions up until the point when adults started looking at her suspiciously and then back off and be "good" for weeks at a time before starting up again.
But no matter how many times she did this, no one would answer her, so eventually... once she had learned to take care of herself more or less - Konani left her group and family to seek answers on her own. She wanted to know what had happened to her own group in the past and also perhaps what had happened to others.

Most of all, Rhaen is ambitious. But not for herself... she's more, wanting things to be a certain way. And if they're NOT like that, she will plot and plan and do anything she has to to make them like that. At times, this could include her being in charge - but she's just as happy directing things from behind the scenes. So long as things are going the way she thinks they should be.

For a long while, Inoke went by the name of Anila, and fit the meaning of that name very well. The name means "child of the wind" and so she was - going where she pleased when she pleased and not answering to anyone. Anila had been on her own for a long while, having left her family at an early age so that she could be free.
She found out after wandering for a while, though, that total freedom gets rather lonely. From time to time she would meet up with others, only to drift away again after a while. It was after meeting an older lioness with a mate and family of her own that Anila had a change of heart.
The lioness decided to search for a home of her own, and possibly to find someone to start a family with. To signify the change in her life, she began calling herself Inoke instead, which means "devoted" - as she intended to be from that point on.
However, it isn't quite so easy as she thought to totally change, and she still tends to be a little more wild than might be advisable at times.

From the very start, Najla realizes that her Seer powers are geared in a very specific way, and decides to arrange her life accordingly. Her powers allow her to see the past of whoever she is close to or touching - specifically parts of that past that are painful or damaging to the mind in some way. The first few times this happens, it will, of course, be very frightening to her. But Najla will quickly figure out that having seen such dark moments... it's easier for her to get the person to talk about it, and to heal their mind. So she decides to join the healers of the pride, focusing specifically on healing minds.
She is a girl who's very smart, and knows where she'll fit best into her pride. She's completely loyal to her family and pride, much like her father... but in her earlier years, she'll also be a bit quiet and shy like her mother. As she grows and trains more with others in the pride, she'll gain more confidence until she can stare down the largest male without a problem if she needs to.
