Hey guys, since this is a Dragonball / Z / GT Roleplaying-based fighting guild, we'll need to set some rules and guidelines to ensure that everyone has a fun and fair time.
1) Optional: When using fighting or action dialogue, place the words inbetween stars. Example: *Vegeta moved to the left, just barely dodging the attack. He then put his right arm forward and shot a ki beam*
2) When you (your character) is actually talking, place the entire dialogue in quotations. Example: "So Cajun, I see you've been training. How has it been so far?"
3) When talking as a normal person (outside of your character's speech or action), use double parentheses. Example: ((That's a great attack! How did you come up with it?))
3) No auto-hitting. This is when you make your character hit another character without giving them a chance to respond. Also, when someone attacks you, you must either: Block, take the hit, counter attack, or dodge. Example of auto-hitting: *Vegeta flew towards Cajun and jammed his right elbow directly into his stomach* Note: Also remember to take hits once and a while. We don't want to be too unfair in fights.
4) No god-modding. This is when you make a huge sequence of attacks to either win the match or inflict major damage on your opponent. Example of god-modding: *Cajun flew towards Vegeta, charged up a Final Flash and blew him away with it. To finish Vegeta off, Cajun transformed into SSJ2 and used his Cajun Mix attack.*
5) Only SSJ 1-4. You are allowed to make your characters as weak or as poweful as you want, but they may not exceed SSJ4. SSJ5 and SSJ6 do not exist, and the same goes for Dragonball AF. You cannot make yourself over-powerful by exceeding SSJ4. Example of exceeding the limit: *Cajun powered up to his limit and revealed his true form, SSJ5*
Other than that, have fun!

I'm sorry, but I won't do it. neutral Putting action in between stars is just plain illiterate, and I will not do it.

The_winged_kitsune I'm sorry, but I won't do it. neutral Putting action in between stars is just plain illiterate, and I will not do it. No, it's not illiterate. Being illiterate is using poor grammar and spelling. Using stars just seperates different sequences used by your character. It makes perfect sense, and it just makes it easier to distinguish from your charcater's dialogue and OOC speech.

That's poor grammer! rolleyes It shouldn't be hard to distinguish dialogue from OOC speech, because you're supposed to put double parenthesis around OOC. If you do that, then you'd have to be stupid to get it mixed up.

((Alright, I'll make the stars optional to suit those who would rather not use them.))

Well in the episode where Vegeta is talking to Bulma about the bluffs waves. Anyway she talks about Vegeta becoming a SSj4. Then she said maybe Vegeta will even become a SSj5. Well, I'm just saying but I know it doesn't exist."

Bulma guessing that Vegeta could become SSJ5 proves nothing anyway.

Oh and by the way, if it's optional, it's not really a rule. sweatdrop
