» COSTUME DESCRIPTION x / x While in his costumed persona, Warhound wears a rather simple outfit. Consisting of a dark black body suit that covers all the way up to his neck. Including durable boots and gloves. He forgoes anything particularly fancy like capes in favor of something simple yet functional, like he is. He also wears a dark grey mask with deep red styling on it. The mask covers his entire face and has a wolf motif to its shape and general appearance. The outfit is also resistant to the fluid he is suspended in whilst transformed to make cleaning it easier.

- You have the ability to shift your body into producing extra flesh which adopts wolf like traits akin to the legends of the werewolf. Whenever you convert yourself into this state your muscles enlarge, your frame contorts, and you grow wolf like appendages such as claws, ears, and a tail. In addition to this you grow a scant amount of bone armor and have protruding bones at various points along your body. Changing into this form will heal surface level damage such as cuts, scrapes, and sprains. It takes to time to both ramp up your powers and power down. As the change ends it will appear as if you are shedding excess flesh until your human body pulls free of the transformed one. This is because the wolf body is not your real body, and your real body is contained within an amniotic sac inside it.

- Within your wolf man state your strength is greatly enhanced. Able to lift 500 lbs and pushing around up to 1000 lbs your strength is fairly formidable.

» PERSONALITY
- Steve is very much a product of his circumstances. From his unconventional upbringing as a feral child, to the attempts to rehabilitate him once he was discovered by the Government. The latter has been somewhat successful, but he still has issues interacting with people in social situations and has a dislike of anyone who plays a lot of social mind games. In fact, due to both his past and his passengers influence, his view on social interaction and people in general could be likened to that of a canine. He is protective of his territory, will fight viciously to defend his "pack" and dislikes it when people smile at him because all he sees is someone baring their teeth at him. He may come across as frightening and unfriendly at first due to his issues expressing himself, but once you've broken through that outer shell, you'll find a very caring and intensely passionate man. Even if he will never admit to that openly.
Another important aspect is his affinity for and practicing of the Norse beliefs. Specifically, he feels himself drawn towards the worship of Odin. These beliefs trickle into most aspects of his life, and he personally believes his particular power set is a result of Óðr. Which is more or less a form of "divine inspiration", although that doesn't really do it justice. Óðr is a force that infuses people to their core and was believed to be responsible for things such as visions, trances, poetry and berserker rages. Allowing oneself to be under the immediate influence of the Gods/a God. In short: To Steve, his transformation is a gift from Odin himself.
Finally, it is worth noting that with Steve, "simple" is not the same thing as stupid. Not by a long shot. Although it is easy to make that assumption if you don't know him, he is actually a surprisingly complex man and good with strategy. Although he isn't particularly book smart, he can absolutely take care of himself and could easily survive out in the wild without any kind of modern conveniences. Hunting, trapping and exploring are all first nature to him. He is incredibly strong willed and resistant (although not immune) to fear. Somewhat uniquely due to his particular beliefs, he also has no fear of death. Because he believes that facing death and dying well will see him rewarded in the afterlife. This is not the same thing as a death wish however. He will avoid dying if it's at all possible because he quite enjoys living. He just isn't afraid of death.

» BACKGROUND
- Steve comes from a mysterious and fragmented background. Born in a now unknown village on the outskirts of civilization, he was thrust into the wild when his home was destroyed, spent a number of years as a feral child living in the wilderness with a pack of wolves, and eventually triggered when that family too was taken from him by poachers. After this, he was picked up by Warden/Dragons Teeth who had been alerted to decided the killing of the Poachers couldn't be legally held against him because of his feral state and the circumstances surrounding it. He was taken into custody at the age of 13 and started an intensive regimen of rehabilitation. A year later he was taken on in a probationary capacity with the Wards, although this was still a very limited capacity as he was still in the early stages of rehabilitation.
He has spent the next 17 years serving in an increasingly involved capacity, helped through this by his mother/mentor figure Janet Farley/Fairy. He is now a fully fledged member of the Wardens and has been for some time.
» TRIGGER EVENT
- Steve was born and spent the first few years of his life in an outlying village somewhere mostly away from civilization. He doesn't remember the details beyond a vague recollection because he was much too young when it happened, but the village was either attacked and razed to the ground, or destroyed by some manner of natural disaster. He ended up wandering the wilderness at a young age. While most children would have died in a situation like this, the young Steve was taken in by a pack of wolves and he ended up being raised as effectively a feral child.
His trigger event proper happened several years later when he was 13. One fateful day his new family was attacked and killed by heartless hunters/poachers. Upon discovering this, the young Steve flew into a rage and attacked the poachers to avenge them. A bloody and vicious struggled ensued, much violence and blood was spilled on both sides. He put up a good fight but was outnumbered, and during the struggle he triggered. The resulting surge of his power allowed him to kill and messily devour the hunters. He was later picked up and taken in by members of the Dragons Teeth who were investigating reports of a wild Parahuman.
